Replacing a shower head isn't hard to do. Even lesser-skilled DIYers can tackle this bathroom remodeling task by following just a few steps.
Wrap your wrench with tape to prevent it from scratching the fixtures. With the water turned off, twist to wrench to the left to unscrew the existing shower head. Use a damp towel to wipe away any build-up.
Apply the plumber's tape clockwise around the threads, then attach the new shower head by screwing clockwise. Tighten by hand at first, then use your wrench. If it leaks, try using the wrench for quarter turns.
