Angie’s List CTO Darin Brown Named Top Technology Officer in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS (August 17, 2016) – Angie’s List (NASDAQ: ANGI) chief technology officer Darin Brown was named Indianapolis’ Chief Technology Officer of the Year by TechPoint  and the Indianapolis Business Journal.

“Darin has helped Angie's List become a home services technology leader," said Angie’s List president and CEO Scott Durchslag. “He’s an exceptional team leader and we’ll be seeing the fruits of his labor for years to come. It’s great to see his ‘techpertise’ getting the recognition it deserves.” 

Brown led the Angie’s List migration to its new state-of-the-art technology platform. He has been at Angie’s List since January 2015. He was promoted from senior vice president of Technology to CTO in December 2015. An Indianapolis native and Purdue graduate, he is responsible for all of Engineering and Enterprise Technology.

He previously led teams at Salesforce, formerly ExactTarget, where he served in various roles including vice president of the Interactive Marketing Hub (now Salesforce Marketing Cloud) product line.

He has more than 20 years of engineering experience in consumer search, decision analytics and enterprise software.
