Great service. I was given a 2 hour window on a Sunday afternoon after calling at 9am. Ali called when he left his last job so I knew he was on his way. I think he was here less than 1.5 hours. He had no problem taking things apart, gaining access to the components in the back of the freezer, identifying the broken part, replacing it, defrosting the unit, testing and getting things back together. I was impressed because he used a heater and a steamer to defrost the coils. I just assumed a heat gun would be good enough but he explained why the steamer was needed around the plastic. Ali also answered tons of questions from a certain 5 year old who was ssooo curious and couldn't take his eyes off him. Very friendly and knowledgeable. When asked about what training, he said he goes to a refresher training every 6 months to stay on top of the new models, components and issues. $269 (after $55 coupon) seems high for replacing such a small part, but it was a lot of work to get in there, trouble shoot, and get it all back together. He has to bring all sorts of parts/tools/supplies provide 90 day parts and labor warranty, etc. The part he replaced is pretty cheap, but with his time, skills and professionalism... I wish it was cheaper, but I really can't complain. Not sure what other places charged. Great service, communication and very friendly. I can see why DMV is so well rated and I'll definitely use them again for any future work.
