,Called for service, after finding reputable company who works on Samsung Dryers, which took a while. Scheduled technician to come out the next afternoon. Received phone call later in the day from the appointment scheduler that the tech could come the next morning, but I declined since I had already scheduled to be off work the next afternoon. Tech arrived within scheduled window, quickly assessed the dryer problems and went through several checks, including a call to Samsung support with the error code (since Samsung couldn't provide that code in their instruction manual). Tech indicated parts would be ordered the next day, but because they are Samsung parts it would be 3-5 business days. Tech or appointment scheduler would call when parts arrived. Tech indicated parts could be installed next day, which is fantastic. After 5 days I called scheduler and tech to find out status. Found out the parts were back-ordered, figured I had no choice but to wait. Waited another 5 days, called tech and found out parts are still back-ordered and he wasn't getting good feedback on when the parts would arrive. Tech suggested I call parts company and gave me their number and the two product numbers. Found the two parts online in my own search, ordered the parts separately and had them shipped to my home. Upon receipt, I called the scheduler to set something up the next day and was told that wasn't possible, stated what the tech had told me and still was told no. Scheduled for two days later. On a side note, the appointment scheduler has a very strong foreign accent which sometimes makes her difficult to understand or her to understand the issue you are having. Tech came out, quickly took apart the dryer, replaced the bad parts with the ones I ordered. Put the dryer back together and ran some tests to make sure all was well. Stayed about 20 minutes after fixing the dryer to make sure it was running properly on all temps and sensor vs non-sensor settings. Overall, a fantastic job by the tech, very professional, knows what he is doing and makes a quick job of it. Though my interactions with the appointment scheduler weren't great, the tech gets an A+. I would definitely use them again. though in the future I would just order the parts on my own to save time.
