ASpencer's Safe & Lock
Spencer Safe & Lock provided really great and professional service.  I needed my doors rekeyed and some locks changed over a weekend, and Spencer was able to provide the service on short notice when other brick-and-mortar locksmiths (as opposed to the non-reputable mobile locksmiths) were not.  I believe the locksmith who came to my house was named "Neil".  He was very professional, friendly, and quick.  I would definitely use Spencer for my locksmithing and safe needs in the future.

AKeyed In LLC
Despite the fact I was calling on a Saturday morning AND just a few days before Christmas, the operator was very responsive. They provided an accurate service response window of only 2 hours. The technician who arrived onsite was very professional and seemed to have an in-depth understanding of the issue and remedied it quickly. They outlined the work, explained the cost, and handled the entire transaction using a mobile app which I thought was very slick. They seem committed to quality work and using the best technology. Overall, would highly recommend using Keyed In for all future locksmith needs.

It was fine. I called and he answered the phone but was driving (he is a mobile lock service) so he could not take down my information. we made an appointment and he called me the next morning to verify and write down all of the necessary information. he showed up prepared and quickly got to work. We decided to add new deadbolts to a couple of the doors, but since it was already dark, he returned during the day so he could  complete the job. This job was at my mother's house and he called me when he was finished with the deadbolts and asked me to go and check his work before paying him any additional money. I appreciated his thorough and professional attitude throughout the entire job.

AChiko's Locksmith
Chiko arrived and immediately got to work. He pointed out what was wrong with my existing lock and showed me on the new lock what makes the lock work properly. I wasn't expecting to pay for a brand new lock and handle, but it was absolutely necessary after he explained everything. Chiko is so knowledgeable and fast. His truck is a mobile shop, so he can do anything on the first and only visit! He was extremely professional and insistent upon him working for the people. He's 24/7 and is always on-call. I was very impressed by his initial response! I was called within 15 minutes of him receiving my inquiry through his website. If you have a lock issue, call Chiko! He will be there quickly and be able to fix your issue immediately!

It seems inevitable to be locked out of one's home, and it did.  Fortunately, it was only the bottom lock, I had my mobile phone, and was able to call various friends who either referred me to locksmith(s) in the area and/or searched the internet for ones that are open 24/7 in the DC Metro area.  It was a frustrating experience, made more so by the fact the locksmith thought it would be 'easy' and in the end, it wasn't so easy.  When he used the 'credit card trick', I thought, "Why am I paying someone to do something I saw in the movies?  I suppose that's reassuring that even a locksmith had difficulty entering the residence.  He also provided some suggestions regarding locks but after paying $150 to be let in, the last thing I wanted to hear was a sales pitch.  I don't know if I would use the provider in the future, unless it's absolutely necessary.  If there was a 'depends' or 'maybe' option, I would select that.  In the end, the task was completed.

ALock Masters
Security problem with my car that prevented it from starting. Spent time on the phone with a JustAnswer.com Infinity mechanic.   After trying a variety of things to get around the security problem it was determined I needed to have my keys reprogrammed and probably replace the security immobilizer.  He recommended I call a mobile locksmith.   Called Arlington Lock Inc based on Angie's List reviews.  Charles came by within 30 minutes of my call.  He tried reprogramming both keys, car still would not start.  He said they have someone who can replace the Security Immobilizer on cars as an alternative to having Infiniti do it.   I agreed to have Arlington Lock Inc do it.  I wasn't charged that day. They ordered the part and Luis from Lock Masters in Springfield came by 2 days later, installed the new immobilizer, reprogrammed both keys, and said my car should be set now for the next 10 years (at least as far as the security system goes).  I did not have to have my car towed to Infiniti, all work was done at my house.  I saved at least $126 including towing over what it would have cost for Infiniti to do it, not even taking into consideration the hassle of getting my car to them (my AAA plan only tows me free for up to 3 miles, then $4/mile after that).  I was charged $50 less for the part than Infiniti was going to charge, $20 less for labor to replace the part and reprogram both keys.  I cannot say enough good things about these guys.  Highly recommend.
