I dropped phone and broke screen Sat morning July 4th Holiday. I called them; they answered the phone (which a few companies did not); said "sure we can fix it today. Stop in before we close at 5pm". 30 minutes later I was giving them my phone. Another 30 minutes and I was leaving the store with my new screen. Great service, ok price, great personal discussion. I needed the Sat Holiday July 4th service and it was not big deal to them. But it was to me. I highly recommend and I would use again.

Searched for and iPhone repair shop on Angies list and this one came up. So I drove to there location which is located in Fairfax city. They young man who greeted me was friendly and knowledgeable. He explained all the cost that were associated with the repair then they test you phone before you leave and then again when you come back in for pick up both of these are done in front of you so you know it works. He told me it would take about an hour and 30 minutes later he calls me and tells me my phone is done, That's great service.

Excellent customer service start-to-finish. After completing their form online and a series of quick emails, I was at their nicely-appointed office for the 25-minute repair less than 24-hours after first reaching out online. Very professional service. Very satisfied with results. Would recommend and use again.

Asurion sent an independent contractor named Peter Johnson to repair my iPhone 7 . I was given a 1pm-3PM arrival time just before 3PM he called and said he would be around 1 hr late. When he got here he was nice and went to work really fast. In my opinion "To Fast" like he was trying to make up the lost time for the day on my repair. He changed the screen out in about 20min and put it back together. He restarted the phone and said you may need to re-sink it with iTunes. Rather than wait to be sure it was ok, he ran out the door. In about 5 min it was clear my Home Screen Button wasn't working at all, but was totally fine before he started. I tried to call him right back to try and get him to come right back but he didn't answer and I had to use another phone as I couldn't do anything with mine since the Home Screen Button wasn't doing anything. I called him 4 times, texted him 2 times, and emailed him as well. No response to any of them even by the next day. When he ran out the door he did give me his card and say if you need any other phones fixed that are not insured I have my own business as well. I called the Asurion and told them everything that happened and they said they could send him back, but I would have to pay the $49 fee again. I said to them, "You have to be kidding me, he didn't fix it." They said, our only no cost option now was to replace my phone. I said, "I don't really want to replace it", but after they checked with the supervisor they said that was my only no cost option left to get mailed a replacement phone in 2 days. The photo is the business card of the independant contractor they sent out.

I first contacted this company throuh Angies List messaging service. I received a prompt response and a quick appointment. I was greetrd warmly upon arrival, my phone was put throuh a pre-check to make sure there was no functional damage before repairs. The badly shattered glass was removed and replaced while I waited. Total repair tome was about a half hour. After repairs, my phone was checked again to make sure it was functioning properly. I was very satisfied with every aspect of the service I received from the friendly and helpful staff. One extra thing occurred that deserves mention. While I was waiitng an elderly gentlman stumbled in with his phone in a plastic bag. The helpful man at the front desk, very kindly and clearly explained that they did not repair land line phones but the befuddled old gentleman did not seem to get the message. He kept explaining what the problem was and insisting that he had been sent there by AT&T. Much to his credit, the front desk manager went out of his way to look at the phone and explain to the owner that it appeared to be a simple matter of replacing the battery. He recommended a battery speciality store nearby, and patiently repeated the name of that store and directions three times while the old fellow struggled to make sense of things. The front desk manager really went above and beyond in caring for this vulnerable fellow. He was kind and patient and I was impressed by his demeanor and caring. I like to see kindness in human interactions. I like to do business with good people. While I hope that my electronic devices don't need repairs for a long time, I heartily commend the staff of Fix and Style to anyone needing cell phone repairs.

Searched around and found many drop-off options with so-so reviews, but finally found these guys. Everything was extremely smooth. Good communication, came to my work, replaced the screen in about 45 minutes with a new one while I sat and chatted with him. Will give a discount on future repairs and for referrals. Great service, great price.

I took my iPhone 4 to their Merrifield, VA, office this morning. The on/off switch had stopped working. They told me this is a common problem. I paid $40 for the repair. Two hours later it was ready and it works fine. Addendum-- I noticed that my wifi connection was poor. I took the cell back to WiGo and they found that they'd not connected a cable during the earlier repair. They fixed this and now it seems fine.

We had a replacement screen installed because my son's iPhone screen was cracked and it no longer was as responsive as before: texting keyboard display was not responsive and scrolling was now very difficult. I was charged almost $80. We ended up taking it to apple and with AppleCare (didn't realize at first the phone was still covered) a new screen cost me $25. and the phone is like new. It might be the Apple propriety technology that made this a big fail, but would never replace a phone screen here again.

I brought in a broken iphone 4 with a broken power button. Verizon and Wigo both noted the water indicator was red meaning their was water damage. I was told service would take an hour. When I returned 1.5 hrs later it was not ready and was told they needed another hour as they were having trouble with the button. I left and called right before closing (2hours later) as I had heard no updates. The tech assured me it would be ready the next morning as there was some water damage he thought they could fix. Tried to pickup at noon the next day and was told that it was not ready and that they needed to try to remove corrosion and it would be ready 3 days later. I left on vacation so called 4 days later and was told it could not be fixed. My biggest complaint was with the complete lack of communication. I realize cell phones break but I was never once called by WIGO to receive an update on my phone. I had to follow up many times to get any information after being told I would be contacted.

Excellent first time experience. Brought in an iphone that was having trouble connecting with the charging cords. Fast, friendly service. Before servicing, they explained the possible problems, and the relative prices. Asked if I preferred aftermarket or OEM parts, if necessary. Promised job would be done, depending on complexity, in less than an hour. I returned about 90 minutes later and phone was repaired and ready to go. They explained the warranty, and made a few recommendations. Price seemed very fair! Highly recommended.

AGB Wireless Cell Phone Repair
I called in the morning and they said they could fix for $59 hours and it would take about an hour. I went down in the afternoon. I also was having difficulty hearing calls and asked if could look at this as well. He finished the work under an hour. I asked him if he just blew air to clean out dirt so I could hear better. He said he replaced a screen to fix this and went ahead and cleaned the camera as well. He said the price was still $59. I gave him $70 because of the superb service. Note: If you google to find the store you'll see a picture of a big building. This picture is not correct. The storefront doesn't look very appealing but they we're fantastic.

AAmerican Wireless
I was referred to them by colleague at the NIH which is right across from their location inside the Ballston Common Mall.  It took me a bit of time to find the location because I thought it would say DC iPhone like the website but the actual name of the store is American Wireless.  Once I got there they referred me over to Sergiu, who is their iPhone Technician.  He gave me a receipt with $0 on it for their free diagnostics and let me know that my iPhone repair will be $49 and will be done in about 30-45 minutes and that he will give me a call as soon as it is ready.  The good thing about this location is that the mall has a lot of other places to go, so went to Macy's and came back about 30 minutes later because I didn't get any call backs.  He ended up finishing at about 40 minutes after I dropped it off and then gave him my receipt and wrote me up for the $50 and then was trying to sell me some cases and an unlimited service that they have for $60 Unlimited Plan for the iPhone with no contract.  I ended up signing up for the service and they threw in the case for $20 off so ended up getting that as well.  The sales people were young but they were surprisingly knowledgeable and the Technician was fast but the work was good, my iPhone screen looked just like new and he gave me a full warranty as well.

FZAGG Phone repair
Sadly incompetent.  I took my phone to this kiosk because the screen was loose (not cracked) and I wanted them to put it back on correctly. A few days after I paid almost $90 for them to just put my original screen back on, it came loose again. I was unable to get back to the store for 2 weeks. When I asked them to put the screen back on correctly, (which is what I paid them to do in the first place and they apparently couldn't handle) they refused unless I paid again. The manager told me this was because now there is a little crack in the corner. The crack in the corner is there because since the screen was loose, it was outside of the case and cracked. So basically, I paid $90 for my phone to have the same problem before I paid (and actually worse because it is now cracked). Just to be clear, I did not ask them to change the screen (I do not care if there is a small crack) but just to reglue the current screen back on. And they wouldn't. Will never return there again. If you are taking the phone for an actual repair - beware. PS. There is another kiosk in Montgomery Mall that charges a third less for the same repair and fixed my phone perfectly.

FWiGoClinic - Cell Phone & Tablet Repair
This cell phone repair clinic has earned the award of, "Most frustrating business i've ever had to deal with" That's not an easy accomplishment. I dropped my phone off a month ago(!) to have it repaired from water damage. I appreciate this this is not an easy repair; there's multiple components that can be the culprit, and ultimately, efforts can fail. I'm pragmatic and understand that even the best efforts for repairing small electronics can be fruitless. I've been working in IT for over 15 years, and have performed repair work on my own apple products. (Iphone 5c, macbook pro) My phone sat for a week before I got my first update. (Had to call the shop to get it) They performed multiple treatments on it, without success. Had to order a new motherboard. The shop asked for pre-payment of the repair fee, and sent my phone to a motherboard tech. That's where the experience went sour; they spent the next 3 weeks (a week past the long end of the estimate, despite the fact that I asked for updates) with my phone just to return it again as unfixable. I really just spent 75$ for a motherboard tech to return my device, with the same parts (and surface scratches and a sticky mess on the back) and no indication of why it was not fixable. If it was a motherboard repair, and I spent 100$ for the effort, i'd like to believe that i'm entitled to a repair part, at the least. (The service provider gave me a 50$ refund for the work) Customer service was curt, unresponsive, needed to be contacted constantly for updates, and ultimately attempted to tell me about how hard troubleshooting small electronics is. ("It's not procedural") Other cell phone repair shops can return this kind of effort in a week. Next time, i'll use iRescue or a more reliable shop. This repair group is an example of needing to drill down deeper than an overall yelp rating and see what they're capable of doing, and I wouldn't use these guys for anything more than a cracked screen or a defective port.

Agent indicated past experience servicing iPhones. He explained possible repair scenarios and approximate cost, as well as up-front $20 evaluation fee applilcable against any labor charges for repair. I left phone early afternoon. He said they had a backlog but that they may call before the end of the day. Agent called the next day early afternoon. He explained that it did require a new LCD screen, quoted the cost, and asked for approval. Upon approval given, he said it would be ready within the half hour. I picked it up later that day.

FWIGO
Stay Away from this place!!! Dishonest, Lousy Workmanship, Horrible Work Ethic ?Wigo " Clinic"; 1-Installed a fake screen on my iPhone ( said they use genuine Apple parts) 2-They said they changed the screen but they didn't ( later they admitted ) 3-Send my phone back with a broken screen and they damaged the digitiser. On June 5th I took my iPhone 4 with broken screen to Wigo "Clinic", hoping that I am going to get my phone in an hour. Instead... First Act, FAKE SCREEN, they installed a fake iPhone 4 SCREEN with yellow tint which all the whites turned in to yellow. ( they told me that they will install a glass from Apple) Then they said that, they see the problem but it is acceptable Color temperature, and there is nothing they will do ( this is Mike the Expert ) that I have to live with that. I called couple more time finally they agreed to change the yellow glass. Second Act, WE CHANGED THE SCREEN... NOT, I send the phone, they called me back and said that they CHANGED the SCREEN and they compared with an other iPhones it looked perfect. I paid $50 back and fort to FedEx the phone. I got the phone back without changing the yellow screen . The way I know it, when they put the yellow fake iphone 4 SCREEN, they did a bad job that you can see some adhesive and it was still there. I called them and ask them about it. Mike said that, they definitely change the screen. Third Act,. I wrote a review about what happened. Very same they Mike called me and and told me that there had been a small mistake and they thought the technician change screen but he didn't. And still try to make me pay for the shipping. Finally got a hold of ROB LINK the manager. He says he will take care of everything and he thought that issue was resolved. Saga continuous... Fourth Act THEY HOLD MY PHONE HOSTAGE UNTIL I PULL THE REVIEW BACK. Rob Link calls me back and says he did a research on iPhone 4 screens and thanks me to pointing out an defect issue but he says even Apple have this problem but they are denying it. Then he says he will send the phone to me leaving the yellow screen on it, although he will lose a lots money, he will give me full refund but HE WON'T SEND MY PHONE BACK UNLESS I PULLED THE REVIEW DOWN. Which that point I did not believe anything they say anymore. Good thing I have the phone RECORDs of our CONVERSATIONS AND MESSAGES with ROB LINK and WiGO Clinic people. Finished? Not Yet... these WIGO GENIUSES have more tricks in their hat. Forth Act I HAVE RECEIVED MY IPHONE 4 with BROKEN SCREEN and a DAMAGED DIGITISER.

I sent an email to describe the problem and then went to their location.  The tech at the desk, Michael Parks, remembered the email, and suggested I spend the $29.99 they charge for a diagnosis, with that amount credited also to the fix time charge.  He promised a response within 24 hours. Four hours later he called me; the problem had been solved - some settings had to be reconfigured, arcane stuff I probably couldn't have done myself.  I picked up the cell phone, and it works like it should. The Nexus 4 is a pure Google phone and not sold in stores, and it's not offered through a carrier.  There were no other options for quick repairs.  Now when I need a battery replaced - the Nexus is a sealed phone like an iPhone - I know where to go.  These people should help me get the maximum life out of this excellent phone.  It was interesting too to see their offering to work on iPads and iPhones; they know what they are doing.
