I could not be more pleased with the service from Wilcox. The woman who took my call was very helpful and promptly scheduled an appointment for the following week, and then called me a few hours later to let me know there had been a cancellation and that they could move my service date up two days, which was great. My electrician, Steve, arrived promptly at the beginning of the service window (and called me beforehand to inform me he was on his way). I had a hanging lighting fixture that had come apart from my ceiling and was dangling by the wires. We both thought it would be simple repair to reattach it to the ceiling, possibly with some stronger screws than those originally used. But Steve discovered that the pre-installed box to which the fixture was attached had cracked. Fortunately he had another box that fit the hole in my ceiling and was able to install it, and the light fixture, in just over an hour. Steve left my home spotless and even polished his fingerprints off of the lighting fixture after installing it. The price was very reasonable, and amazingly, when I casually mentioned Angie's List, Steve noted that I should have been given a discount. He promised to have it applied retroactively (as he had already run my card). Within an hour another gentleman from Wilcox called me to ask me how I'd like the 10% discount to be received (refunded to my card, or credited to a future service). And a few hours later, a woman from Wilcox called to let me know she had processed my refund to my card (I also got an e-mail). I didn't even know about the Angie's List discount, so all the attention to making sure I received it was truly a surprise, and I think indicative of the fantastic customer service Wilcox provides. I will definitely be using Wilcox for any future electrical projects.
