Recent Review: The owner, Rich, is very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, but the crew he sent to do the job were in a hurry and their English was spotty. We paid for them to move our furniture and they did it in a very rushed way, causing minor damage to a number of pieces such as a filing cabinet, as well as denting a door and causing minor scraping and damage to a couple of walls. The timeline we were given for the job to be completed wasn't accurate and it took a couple days longer than they estimated, which not only had a significant impact on our business but also caused them to go into rush mode. The crew wasn't careful pulling up the old carpet or cutting the new carpet, and they cut through numerous electric,power, and computer lines, etc. in the process of installing. Rather than let me know about the cut lines, the foreman tried to splice together what he could and then either overlooked or ignored the others. It was a sloppy job from start to finish. The foreman barely spoke English and it was difficult to communicate and coordinate the job with him. In the end the actual carpet job was mostly satisfactory. However, within a few months a couple of seams began to separate. They aren't major thoroughfares and the primary wear on those seams is an occasional vacuum cleaner over the top so I don't understand why they should be separating already. As much as I like the owner and believe he means well and tries to do the best job he can, I get the feeling he has more jobs than he can handle and ends up hiring crews that aren't experienced. There is no doubt in my mind that Rich would have done a much better job if he had been supervising our installation but he never came by to check on the work of his crew and they needed closer supervision by someone who is competent and has high standards. I will say that Rich has been responsive when I call with various problems, but I resent having to call for a variety of issues that shouldn't have happened in the first place. With the right supervision and immediate follow-up, our job could have turned out differently but I felt like we weren't a priority and that was demonstrated by the crew that did the installation.
