It went super. Spoke to Bill around 9 am on 12/7/15 as he called me back in response to a message I had left over the weekend on Angie's List. Spent a few minutes explaining the problem, he asked for 5 minutes to research and would call me back. 5 minutes later he called back, gave the price and stated that he could be at the house before noon and have the job completed. He did! A pleasure to work with and excellent service provided! I will use him whenever we have a job that calls for his expertise. I will recommend him to all my friends and family.

The GE wall oven in our house was old - we had it installed over 25 years ago when we did a major kitchen addition. It had been and quot;acting upand quot; over the last several years. Although we could still use both ovens, the digital clock was and quot;cookedand quot; and as a result we could no longer use the self-cleaning or other timer-related functions and it would frequently beep for no reason at all. We called the beeping our and quot;ghostand quot; and became more frequent over time. It was now time to replace the ovens! We had used Appliance Connection for other kitchen appliances. We did our and quot;due diligenceand quot; and checked other local appliance stores and web sites for brands and prices. We finally settled on an Electrolux double wall oven and found that Appliance Connection offered the best value - cost of appliance and installation charges. When we purchased our oven, Appliance Connection was offering a and quot;freeand quot; pre-installation inspection. We were happy to have this and would have otherwise paid for it (I think it was $75.00) to ensure our new oven would fit into the wall cabinet. The survey team (Michael and Mathias) took their time doing the survey and measurements, including inspecting the electrical supply line. The installation team (again, Michael and Mathias) was fantastic. Before any work was started. they put down protection on our oak floors in the kitchen. The actual removal of the old GE and installation of our new Electrolux went extremely smooth. They did the initial set up of the digital display and we were up and cooking in no time! They took the time to show us how to operate the basic oven functions and where to find and quot;how toand quot; information in both the and quot;quick start guideand quot; and full instruction manual. When it was all said and done, we even got a some money back as the new oven slipped right into the opening from the old oven, no cabinet cutting required!

Left a message on a Saturday morning that my dishwasher had stopped working.  Got a call back within an hour and had a service visit scheduled for Tuesday.  Serviceman called me within the 3 hour window and let me know when he was heading over.  He was very friendly and professional -- explained what he was doing and didn't try to sell me anything.  I'd definitely recommend this company and use them again.

They sent this joke out to do the job.  I had to call them to find out when they were coming out because they never called to set up a time.  Acted as if they never even knew they were supposed to come out, but did not state that.  Repaired dryer, but failed to finish the job.  Did not put all screws in to secure the lint filter, then did not even attach the duct work to the dryer.  Unprofessional and I would not recommend!

FBetty's Home Appliance Service
I purchased an Electrolux microwave that didn't work and Electrolux sent me to Betty's for the repair. This ended up being worse than the cable company! The technicians only give you a 4 hour window when they'll be there, so you have to take a day off of work to meet them. Although I told the technicians that the convection fan was not working properly and gave considerable detail on the symptoms, the first technician came out and confirmed everything I said, but wasn't at all prepared to try to fix it, which seems pretty inefficient all the way around. This meant another day off to have them order the part and come back to repair it. However, the first tech ordered the wrong parts and Electrolux sent them to me directly so I had no way of knowing that I had the wrong part (not being a technician myself), which I didn't find out until the second tech came out and told me that he would have to order the right parts and come back again (day 3 off of work!) Because of their error and the gross inconvenience to have to take yet another day off of work, I explained to the scheduler politely that I would like a scheduled (preferably first-thing) appointment when they could next accommodate me so that I wouldn't have to spend yet another day waiting for them. I was rudely told that the best they could do was give me a 30 minute warning within the 4-hour window (which they were already doing) and that if I didn't like it I COULD TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE! Wow!! No apology for the inconvenience or their mistake, no attempt to make things right. So I followed their request - to look elsewhere.

DSears Home Services
The service call took place in two visits: The first visit was like exploratory surgery. Even though I had specifically told Sears what the issue appeared to be, the technician did not show up with parts that would be involved. In fact, the tech actually told me that there was only one thing it could be, and that he didn't have the part, and, furthermore, Sears didn't have the part number and was unable to get it. Not accepting this I called Electrolux on the spot to get the part number, and THEY sent the part to me overnight(!). Sears was not helpful with this, and were really not very helpful for the technician either. This whole thing resulted in the technician having to return to our home and replace the parts a week later. Appointment number two was scheduled for 1-5PM the following Friday. At 4PM I had still not heard from Sears repair, so I called the warranty repair group to find out where the technician was. I was told that we were #9 on the technician's list for the day, and that he was at customer #4 currently. The customer service person told me that the technician would likely be there by "late afternoon." [4PM is late afternoon where I'm from, and 5PM is evening...] I informed her that it was already late afternoon, and that I hadn't heard from the man. She then went on to tell me that warranty work comes SECOND to "paying customers," and he'd call when he finally was getting close to us on the list. So basically, even though we paid for an extended warranty, Sears does not consider us a first tier or important customer! Anyway, somewhat speechless, I then tell the lady that I had to take a half day off of work, and had lost pay due to their total lack of communication and consideration. I further indicated that if they KNEW that we were that far down the list, and the technician couldn't possibly finish the first 8 appointments in less than 30 minutes each, that they should have called us and told me to be home at 4PM, at the earliest Overall, it's clear that Sears does not stand by their stated customer service ideals. I can honestly say this as the customer service representative said to me over the phone "You satisfaction is very important to us." To which I responded "Obviously that's not true, or you would have had someone call us in advance when you knew the schedule. Furthermore, you haven't offered to compensate me for my income loss as a result of your failure to communicate..." The response I received was nothing. The representative said something she'd clearly been trained to use as a deflection technique, and then repeated her prior comment. So I laughed, told her that clearly wasn't true, and that I was not happy. To close, the technician did a good job overall, however, he arrived 2 hours late at 7PM. I want to state that this issue is NOT the technician who was so much of the problem, but effectively his entire support infrastructure - or lack of one in this case.

Our dryer stopped working and it was Electrolux and only 5 years old.  I called All American Appliance and set up an appointment.  The technician came out, was very punctual and called 15 minutes prior to arriving at the house.  He diagnosed the problem and ordered the part needed giving me a 10% discount and applying the $69.00 service fee.  The part was ordered quickly and again the technician came out and called 15 minutes prior and installed the part and we've had no problem.  I would definately use them again.  The front office called 24 hours before service to remind me and it was easy to get an appointment in a short window of time.  Very professional.

I called the provider after waiting an inordinate about of time on hold with my home surge protector's vendor. I called because I wanted to get an idea how much it would cost to replace display and/or controller board parts for my Electrolux refrigerator that had been subjected to a major power surge the night before. The young lady who answered my call was able to find out what the error code meant that was displayed on the refrigerator and quickly gave me the cost of the components that could be causing the error. She further gave me ideas as to how I could go about accessing the components with the use of a putty knife and screw driver. She wished me well and stood prepared to sell me whichever component that I had found to look charred/burned. I found my husband's putty knife and proceeded to find the components, both of which appeared to be in good shape. After reconnecting them, Voila!!! Everything began to work!!! Her supportive suggestions gave me the confidence that enabled me to merely reset the computer boards at no cost!!!

AAPPLIANCE CONNECTION
This job went very well even with a few hiccups that were not the fault of Appliance Connection. The sales reps were very knowledgeable, listened to my needs, and found a product to fit my needs. Installation technicians were very polite and professional and skilled at installing the product.  The only issue, which is minute in comparison to the exceptional work performed, is there is a disconnect between the sales reps and the shipping/installation department in communicating when an installation is going to happen.   The sales department gave me an installation date and time but that information was never passed onto the installation team. After the ice maker stopped working after 5 weeks of troubleshooting, Appliance connection reached out to Frigidaire to have the refrigerator replaced.   Frigidaire (Electrolux) said the malfunctioning ice maker was not reason enough to replace the refrigerator. Amazingly  Appliance Connection, acknowledged the refrigerator was defective and took it upon themselves to replace the refrigerator with any other brand than Frigidaire.    *** Note Think twice before buying Frigidaire refrigerators  ***

FSears Appliance Repair
Awful over and over again. I bought 5 Electrolux appliances with warrantees for each from Sears. All 5 appliances were lemons, each requiring multiple repairs. Sear repair often didn't show up on dates they booked a repair ( yes multiple no shows). When they did come they would say there was nothing wrong or they would "fix" the issue only to have the problem recur later that day. One service agent was actually confrontational so much so that my husband asked him to leave my house. The phone service is awful as well. When you request a repair you get someone abroad with no tools or power to help you. I was so unhappy with the service and all the time I had taken off from work that I wrote a letter to the corporate offices. This resulted in a call from a polite woman but no assistance in the repair of my appliances. Not sure what happened to Sears but they appear to be on a path to bankruptcy. I wouldn't recommend them to an enemy.

First instance - Repair of a Gas Range: A little over a year ago we purchases a higher end gas range from Sears.  Unfortunately, it had a defect and needed to be repaired.  (Basically, the ignitor for the oven didn't work, and would cause small [e.g. firecracker loudness] gas explosions once the over abundance of gas got concentrated enough for the failing ignitor to set off the gas. This was VERY dangerous.) We contacted Sears Home Services to have the item repaired.  In short, the first technician arrived to diagnose the problem.  He ordered a new ignitor and told us to call when the part arrived to have it installed.  We received the wrong part, getting the part for the broiler ignitor, for not the oven. So we called Sears Home Services, and they ordered the part again.  ...and we got the WRONG PART AGAIN.  (So now we have two broiler ignitors and no working oven.)  So I then called the manufacturer, since the unit was still under warranty, and THEY sent me the right part overnight via FedEx.  SEARS WAS NEVER ABLE TO ORDER THE PART CORRECTLY.  A technition was dispatched to install the part, and he arrived FOUR HOURS LATE; our appointment was from 1 to 4PM, he arrived at 8PM. I hoped that this was a fluke, but, unfortunately, it was not. Second / Third instance - Repair of Refrigerator and Washing Machine: I called Sears Home Services, in early April 2011, to request that we get a technician to repair our broken refrigerator and failing washing machine.  The refrigerator is a low priority, but having a one week old baby puts the washing machine at a HIGH priority. During the service request call I played a recording of the washing machine noise and the service consultant ("level 2") indicated that it was indeed broken and would need to be repaired.  We also reported that the ice maker door on the refrigerator was broken and would not close, and he indicated that would be handled on the same visit. On the day of the repair visit the technician was 1 hour late from the given time of 8AM to 12PM.  He informed me that he was there ONLY to perform a preventive maintanence inspection (aka tune up) of the washer, and not to repair it!  I then mentioned the refrigerator and he indicated that he wasn't scheduled for that, and, after a call to the Sears mother-ship, found out that someone was coming between 2PM and 6PM to work on the broken refrigerator. (We were never told someone was coming in the afternoon.) THE TECHNICIAN LEFT WITHOUT TOUCHING OR INSPECTING A SINGLE PIECE OF EITHER OF THE BROKEN WARRANTIED APPLIANCES. The second ("afternoon") technician, that I had no idea was scheduled or coming, showed up in the late afternoon.  I described the problem to him in detail, and he ignored me.  After about 5 minutes he indicated that the issue was fixed.  I used the ice maker and it failed to work immeadiately.  At which point I told him that we would not have called if it was an easy problem, and that he needed to actually disassemble the door for the freezer to diagnose the issue.  He refused to do so, started ordering parts, and told me to call back when they arrived. The following day a part arrived from the manufacturer that was not even related to the freezer door, so I called Sears Home Services to ask what the heck was going on. I carefully explained everything to a, surprisingly, wonderful woman on the phone, and she indicated three things: 1) That the first technician had been dishonest when he told me that he had scheduled someone to come to repair the washing machine. He gave me a date and time, and it was not in the system. (I did mentioned that it could be a mistake, and the Sears Home Services customer service representative was emphatic that this was NOT the case.) 2) That the records she was looking at were consistant with the refrigerator technician deciding that "he did not want to do his job"; in other words, she indicated, that didn't want to be bothered to take the door apart to determine the issue. 3) That I was the third customer call of the day (and it was 10AM) of a similar nature! She told me that she could schedule an appointment two weeks from the date of my call... 4/15/2011. So, at this point it's been nothing but a nightmare and we still don't have anything repaired that is currently broken.  Also, that it will take two weeks for the technician to come and diagnose the problem, and then two or more weeks for someone to come and FIX the problems once they have the parts. All in all:  We'll be lucky if we get either of our appliances repaired within a MONTH, if not six weeks! I can NOT recommend Sears or Sears Home Services for warranty or extended warranty repairs at this time.

Used this company first time last summer when our 2 year old Samsung dryer stopped working.  Technician Mo came out during the scheduled time window, with a call ahead, announcing that he is 10 min.  away.  He diagnosed the problem quickly (motor kaputt:  human error as I forgot to place the filter back in its place after removing the lint.)   As it is a good product and so "young" we decided to invest in a new motor.  It needed to be ordered and Mo came back installing it when it arrived.   No problem since. This time around, our 3 year old Electrolux range / oven needed help as the self cleaning feature did not work.  Mo came back out, again with a phone call ahead within the scheduled time window.  He again diagnosed the problem quickly. (The sensor went bad.)  We are following Mo's recommendation to not use the self cleaning feature as there are grand possibilities to ruin the motherboard when using this self cleaning feature (the risk is especially high with high end , sophisticated ranges.)  I bought some baking soda, made a paste and started cleaning the dirty spot.  I could remove some of it, but then I needed to get a spray bottle of fume free oven cleaner and finished the job.  We did not bother getting the sensor replaced as we decided to skip the self cleaning feature altogether.  Mo has been on all occasions very professional, courteous and efficient.   Will call them for any appliance repair need in the future.  Highly recommend. TIP:  Take a look at their website, I have seen a coupn that applies against the repair of an appliance!

BAPPLIANCE CONNECTION
iAC was a bit out of the way for us, but we chose them because of their reputation on Angie's List and Yelp for excellent service, especially fixing problems arising from installation, if any. The store has a wide selection of brands and models of all types of appliances. Yurii, our sales consultant was very professional and knowledgeable, initially steering us away from combo washer/dryers, which had aroused our interest. He also was candid about the issues with front loader washers, and knew a lot about the features of a variety of brands. He steered us to Electrolux, which wasn't even on our list of brands. My only issue with Yurii was that it seemed a bit hard to draw information out of him, despite the fact that he knew a lot about the appliances. He answered questions readily and thoroughly, but rarely volunteered information. Since we don't purchase appliances every day, this made the choice a bit harder than necessary. Also (not his fault, I'm sure), there price was the price - no haggling. He did find an obscure rebate coupon when I pressed. The installation team was excellent. They showed up on time, took great care to protect our floors and walls, were very polite, and obviously knew their business. The job was well done, and they explained how everything was set up, and even something about the operation of the W/D. We've had no issues so far. We probably paid a bit more for our W/D than we would have at a big box store, but we got excellent service so far. I definitely would recommend Appliance Connection.

Noticed that our newly bought Frigidaire refrigerator was starting to make ice slower. Thought it was the warmer weather and didn't think much of it. Around August 27 noticed it wasn't making ice at all. Contacted Electrolux warranty service. Ignored the first recommendation due to poor online reviews. Went with this company due to its relatively good online reviews. Attempted to contact them on August 29, and again September 3, via Angie's List and heard back nothing. Also attempted to use the Angie's List schedule appointment feature to no avail. After not hearing anything from the company using online tools, picked up the phone on September 8 and made an appointment for Friday. Was told to call back on Friday morning to get a 2 hour window - a nice touch so we wouldn't have to wait all day. On Friday morning (September 12), called and was told to expect service between 10 - 12. Called the company at 11:42 to make sure there was not a problem. While I was on the phone, the technician arrived. The technician was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Professionally dressed and took care not to damage or dirty anything. Replaced a defective ice maker under warranty and had the paperwork ready. Had replacement part on his truck ready to go. Took the time to verify that the replacement ice maker was working properly before leaving. Total time about 10 minutes. Overall I wish that the company was more responsive to their online email and schedule services under Angie's List. Once I got them on the phone things went relatively smoothly. Would suggest a courtesy call if technician will be running later in the lime slot. But no complaints or issues with the technician once they arrived. The technician was quick, efficient, and top notch.
