APresidential Plumbing
This is the second time we used presidential plumbing and these guys did such a nice job replacing a cast iron bathtub. They were flexible around our schedule and always punctual and professional. A very personal company where the owner always took my call and personally came by to inspect installation. One example, The workers recognized that the pipes used for the bathtub were put together a little weird and these guys went out of their way to fix and replace it with no extra charge. Lastly. The age old saying where you don't know what is behind these walls - and every hurdle presidential plumbing fought through and didnt charge me extra or give me a reason why there were unexpected costs. I highly recommend pres. Plumbing and will continue to use them for any plumbing needs.

ALen The Plumber, LLC.
Had the original scratched and damaged bathtub in my condo replaced. Got an upgrade to a 16? deep tub mostly to add a bit of value to the place. Had a difficult time finding a plumber who would do this work even using Angie's List. The one estimate I got was around $1,500 with me supplying the tub myself, doing the preparatory demolition and retiling the walls. The $605 I paid Len to have someone remove the old tub and put in the new one with the plumbing was worth every cent. I actually got a written estimate in April, which they honored 8 months later in December. The guy who came out was courteous and professional and was able to work through what was a complicated and difficult job. Keep in mind though that this is more a corporation than a plumber. I found that out when I had a simple question about the difference in depths of the tub. I was replacing a 14? tub with a 16? tub and I was wondering if there would be a problem with the overflow assembly. I was told by the guy in the home center where I bought the tub that it wouldn?t be a problem. I wanted to confirm that with the company that was actually going to do the plumbing. I called the Baltimore number on the estimate and explained myself clearly the person on the phone. After consulting with the ?service manager? told me they would have to send out a licensed plumber to take a look. This was the Friday before the Monday when I was to have the tub replaced. Were they intending to send a guy out within a day or two before they sent out the guy who would actually do the work three days later? I eventually drove down to the office address listed on the invoice and it is just that, a commercial office without a plumber in sight. I had pictures of what I was talking about and someone in the office called a plumber in the field, explained my concern and the plumber confirmed that the difference in the depth of tubs wasn?t a problem. When the guy came to install the tub, he mentioned my office visit and assured me that I was free to call him at the number he left on the original invoice. I now have a shiny new tub and am very happy with it. Keep in mind if you take this kind of project on yourself, it is a lot of work before and after the tub is put in. Give yourself a lot of time and have patience.

B3-D PLUMBING & HEATING INC
They were quick to diagnose the cause of a leak, and determined the bathtub had corroded and needed replacing. They replaced the bathtub, which resolved the leak. They were responsive - they sent a technician the same day. Very curteous and left the work area clean. I've used them on various home repairs.

ADMV Kitchen & Bath Inc
DMV was very responsive and flexible when scheduling time for us to come to the showroom to pick out materials.  When the work started, they set up tarps on floors and hanging in hall to prevent dust traveling into the kid's bedrooms.  The work was done very efficiently and we were very happy with the end product.  I really liked that they tiled all the way up to the ceiling, whereas other companies we spoke to would only tile just past the top of the shower.

DPressley Plumbing Service
I called Mr. Pressley two days prior to go to closing on my house and wanted to get an estimate on how much it would cost to replace the existing tub and tile in one of the bathrooms. The purpose of the estimate was so that I could inform the seller of the home so that I could receive funds at settlement based on the estimate. Mr. Pressley was very warm, receptive and informative over the phone and agreed to stop by the home (on short notice might I add) and promised to meet me at 6:30 that evening. Upon my arrival to the home at 6:30 I called Mr. Pressley to find out if he was in route to the house only to find out that he was in the process of feeding his son dinner. Mr. Pressley then asked if he could meet me in an hour. I curtly replied, No, because I was already at the home with my real estate agent and we agreed to 6:30. Then Mr. Pressley tells me he'll be at the house in about 15 mins. Needless to say he arrived 45 mins later. Upon arrival he explained in great detail the amount of work that would need to be performed and I asked if he could provided me with a written estimate of the work. To make a very long story short, Mr. Pressley never provided the estimate as he promised he would ( I called him that evening after he left the home to reiterate how important it was that I have the estimate for my closing which was 2 days later). I appreciated Mr. Pressley coming by on short notice, but I also asked in my intial converstation with him if my request was too short notice to be handled. Being a parent I understand the demands of children and although my child was with me I delayed my dinner and my childs to ensure that I could meet with him for the estimate. I am happy to report that I got the work taken care of by someone else and am sorry to report that Mr. Pressley lost out on a potential (or life-long) customer.

AMaster Plumbing & Mechanical Inc
Jack did a SUPERB job. The problem was that my 2nd floor bathtub drain shoe pipe  (installed in 1947, when the house was built) had rusted out, causing water to drip down through my kitchen ceiling . Getting at the pipes was going to be  difficult. I know this because, the day the leak started, a home inspector was at my house, and he removed the access panel behind the tub (located in a 2nd floor clothes closet) and looked at the problem. What we saw was a tiny little space with what looked like an upside down "T" pipe,  (the shoe  portion all rusted out) and barely any room to turn a wrench. The home inspector said, "Because there's so little room, your plumber is probably going to have to cut a hole in your kitchen ceiling in order to install the new shoe pipe. But if you get someone who is really good, he might be able to fix it, without cutting your ceiling." Long story short. When Jack came, he replaced the shoe pipe without having to go in through the  kitchen ceiling. At the beginning of the job, he had quoted me a price. And even though he had to go to three different plumbing supply houses to get the right size shoe pipe to fit the rest of my 1947 pipes, the final price Jack charged me was the same price he had quoted me at the beginning of the job. Every experience I've had with  Master Plumbing (I've used them for past three years) has been terrific. Last year I needed some expert consultation regarding some waterproofing work done by another company. MP's owner, Billy Silk came  and didn't charge me a cent.  This is one great plumbing company!

Foley Pluming  did a great job replacing my bathtub spout and bathtub controls which had begun leaking. Foley showed up on time and quickly completed the project. The price was fair and the hardware used where top notch. I would use them again in the future for any of my pluming needs.

It went very well.  The plumber was very good.  He identified that we had a small leak in the pipes because of their age.

AKramer and Sons Plumbing Services Inc
This was the only one of several companies I called which actually answered the phone and gave me an appointment right away. The plumber was polite and professional. He gave us several options and we are very happy with the work, which was completed quickly. A plumber from Michael & Sons had told us that the solution would be much lmore extensive and expensive, so we were pleasantly surprised.

I tried to fix the bathtub faucet myself.  I was impossible.  The repairman from Woodbridge Plumbing arrived on time.  He was very courteous.  He quickly did the repair.  I mentioned the continuous running toilet. He quickly saw the problem and fixed that to even though it was part of my original service request.  This was the best repair experience I ever had.

BMr. Handyman of Anne Arundel and North PG
Contractor arrived on time and proceeded to discuss what needed to be done.  He left the repair of my kitchen cabinet to last.  Although he said he would try to fix my kitchen cabinet he left without doing so.   Contractor did an excellent job but for the money paid the repair of the cabinet should have been completed as well.

ACasco Plumbing
Appointment was scheduled promptly and arrived on time. After clearing the drain, I asked them to look at another plumbing issue (replace bathtub drain) in one of our bath rooms. They gave me a quote and ordered the necessary parts. Returned a week later to do the work and again everything went great. Very personable, efficient and reliable. I never felt that I was being led on or quoted a high cost for the extra work.
