Recent Review: The crew was very professional: skilled, timely, punctual, neat, responsive, honest, and very hard working. We trusted their advice on unexpected issues found during remodeling and they provided information that helped us make a decision. The remodeling came out as we expected and priced. Would definitely recommend. The guys went the extra mile-it showed.

Mole Construction Inc
Recent Review: We were very satisfied and pleased with the bathroom renovation done by Mole Construction. The project involved removing a tub and creating a shower, running new plumbing and electrical to accommodate a new shower system and hot water heater, installing new tile throughout, changing out the vanity, installing large medicine cabinets as well as a pocket door. Manuel was very professional and we appreciated his patience and willingness to meet with us more than once before starting the job to answer questions and concerns we had about the project. During the renovation he was always receptive to questions we had or to any changes we wanted to make. Unfortunately after the project was completed we discovered that we had a water leak from the new pipes that had been installed. Manuel immediately addressed the problem and took responsibility. He ensured that all aspects of the repair were completed in a timely fashion and that we were satisfied with the drywall patches and painting. We are enjoying our new bathroom and recommend Mole Construction to anyone thinking about a home renovation project.

Recent Review: The planning and work done was outstanding. We had talked to 4 other remodelers and found WaterStone to be the most detailed and open to our needs. The finishes in the new bathroom are stunning. Even when the shower glass company came to install the glass they were so taken by the bathroom that they had to take pictures of the new shower. They could not believe the tile work. The counter top and cabinets are wonderful. So we are very pleased with WaterStone and would recommend they to everyone.

Dominion Granite & Marble
Award 2017Super Service Award
Recent Review: We were so impressed with the kitchen counters and island from ten years ago that we went out of our way to have Dominion Granite install the marble counter tops for our bathroom renovation. Christian and his team were extremely professional and informative the first time, and were just as professional and informative during the most recent installation. They have vast and amazing options on site to select your granite or marble. Meticulous installation with perfect lines and cut-outs. High quality on trend porcelain sinks are also available from Dominion Granite. Their office is urban chic and inviting showroom with amazing slabs in their adjacent warehouse and cutting area. Most highly recommended.

Recent Review: I am very happy with my new bathroom!! It's a remarkable improvement. They gutted the bathroom and removed a Jacuzzi tub, shower stall, a useless half-wall by the toilet and a double sink - all gone! They built a new wall on the end of the tub and put the extra vanity in the remaining space. They added lights over the extra vanity and a recessed light over the tub. Now I have a very beautiful bathroom and the bathtub of my dreams. I've wanted to do this for YEARS!!! I never thought I could get rid of that jacuzzi especially being on the 4th floor! Overall it was pretty quick, about 2 1/2 weeks (there was a few days delay at the end getting the granite in, otherwise it would have been 2 weeks exactly). The owner Alan was very helpful and friendly and told me what to get, where to get it and even offered to bring samples but I wanted to go to the tile/granite places myself to see all options as it was my first reno and it was exciting. Marlin was the main worker every day and he was great, very friendly and did exceptional work especially the flooring and tile which I think look amazing! It's a messy job and if you do this your bedroom is out of commission for the duration with tools, supplies and basically very dusty but that's to be expected with construction. They do put up some plastic over your furniture and at the end they clean it up pretty well but you'll still need a good going over yourself at the end. I bought the lights from Amazon and they added a dimmer switch which works great. They hung the mirrors, towel racks and shower curtain rod, painted and put new baseboards. The fan I had worked but Alan recommend a new quiet one and I'm so glad we did that, and I even picked up a new vent cover so now everything is brand new. I’m definitely already thinking of future projects as I need a lot of work done around the condo as soon as I can come up with the money I’ll definitely contact Alan at Click again. Highly recommend.

Recent Review: I would highly recommend VA Kitchen & Bath - especially working with Sertac, Leon & Bo. Sertac managed the project and, as promised, completed the remodel within the timeline with flawless results. The workers carefully clean up any mess and their equipment nightly so I never had to clean up after them. Quality work and timeline were more of a concern than the price as I only have 1.5 bathrooms. I watch neighbor's bathroom remodeling projects drag on for 4-5 weeks so having mine completed in 8-9 days was a HUGE plus to me. The shower tile is so BEAUTIFUL that I refuse to close the shower curtain and may decide later to install a frameless glass door instead. I have hated my builders grade bathroom for years and would have remodeled before it I had known how easy VA Kitchen & Bath would make the process!

Recent Review: It went well and the bathroom turned out beautiful. There was a little unexpected delay while waiting for some of the materials but it was well worth waiting for the few extra days. We’ve gone to Nicely Done Kitchens 3 tines (2 bathrooms and 1 kitchen) and would go to them again!

Recent Review: My Kitchen and Bath promised to create my dream master bathroom when I visited their showroom in Herndon. John was the first person who I spoke to. He is so kind and honest. He answered all my questions without thinking a second. He was so helpful while I was finalizing the materials for my bathroom. The crew (Walter and George) have turned my bathroom into a luxurious room fit for five star hotels. The shower walls stand out so well with the beautiful border tile. The estimates provided were very accurate and detailed. It was so affordable that I only ended up using a slight proportion of my extra savings. They weren't the cheapest option though. Another thing I want to point out is the way that the My Kitchen and Bath team thoroughly cleans the work area once they are done with the construction. I was thoroughly impressed by this. They wiped everything down after they complete the project. I am so glad that I hired this team for this project and I recommend everyone in the area can contract their services too.

APotts Brothers LLC...
This is the second time we've used Potts Brothers to do a bathroom renovation. A few years ago we had them reno the master bath and this time we hired them to do the kids bathroom and a half bath. In the half bath, they were able to skim and patch the bumpy drywall and make it look like new. They also installed a new vanity and toilet, and we finally have a bathroom on the main level that we are not embarrassed for our guests to use. The kids bathroom was completely ripped down to its studs. It was fun choosing new tiles, vanity, tub, toilet, fixtures and paint colors. Potts installed everything for us and the work was finished on time and according to schedule. They do quality work and the crew had great craftsmanship. Everything looks fabulous and we are very happy. After the project was over, we realized the door wouldn't close over our very thick bath mat. Bob (the owner) sent someone to fix that for us that week. We found the company to be honest and provide excellent work at very competitive prices. We would highly recommend Potts Brothers and would certainly choose them again for our next project.

AKitchen Saver...
The service was excellent and we are very happy with our new bathrooms. In particular, Dave Duxon, who did most of the work, was pleasant, punctual and did a very good job. We had used Kitchen saver a few years ago to renovate our kitchen and they did a very good job then as well. I would heartily recommend them.

AGBC Kitchen & Bath...
We had a bathroom totally remodeled by GBC (everything was torn out down to the sub-flooring and to the cinderblock walls and was then replaced and rebuilt), and the experience was very positive. Eda the designer was very pleasant to work with, gave us great ideas and provided us with very detailed design drawings, product specifications and costs before we committed to the job. She also gave us a firm timeline as to when the job would start and approximately how long it would take to finish. They started exactly when they promised, and finished in the time-frame they had estimated. The quality of the work was very good and the workers were very flexible and responsive to my ideas as the work progressed. There were several minor issues (loose towel bar, drain stopper that didn't close tight, and slight leak along the glass shower enclosure) which took several call-backs to fix, but the project manager (Charlie) was very diligent in keeping after these issues until they were resolved. GBC provides a 2-year warranty to stand by their work and will come back to fix any issues that may appear during that time. All of the people I dealt with were very courteous, respectful and professional. I definitely recommend them for kitchen and bath remodeling work!

AGraves Design & Remodeling Inc...
We were very satisfied with our experience working with Graves design. We decided to go with them after receiving what believed to be a fair estimate for our bath remodel, involving the complete gutting of a 50-year old traditional hall bath and design/rebuild of a modern guest bath with special modifications for wheelchair and space requirements. This included a sliding/pocket door, a hidden toilet tank, extra grab-bars and open space below the sink. Their design expert, Caroline, was very helpful with frank and honest suggestions regarding materials and fixtures and spent a good deal of time with us at the tile and marble outlets, staying with us until actual decisions were made and materials ordered. There were glitches and delays when unexpected challenges were encountered (not surprising, in a 50-year old house), but I very much appreciated the fact that they adjusted to the changes with no increase in price – something that we had not encountered during a previous bathroom remodel done by another company, when additional charges were levied for both unexpected work and for design changes. A cautionary note: the initial estimate of time needed for job was much understated. What we were told would likely be a 3-week job turned out to be in excess of 5 weeks. The normal time needed, for instance, between measurements taken for the sink countertop (which could only be taken at the end of construction) and actual installation was about 5 days, during which time very little work was done, since it the counter installation came at the end of construction. It would have been good for Graves to include that down time in their estimate of time needed to complete the job, and we recommend that such unavoidable delays be advised upfront. A special note of thanks goes to the plumbing and tile experts who did most of the work and were in our house much more than any of the other workers involved. They did their level best to minimize dirt, dust and disruption, and cleaned up after themselves completely at the end of each day’s work, including removal of materials and drop cloths. They were courteous and tried to be helpful in other ways, including such small things as re-hanging pictures that had to be removed during the renovation and replacing heavy furniture that had to be moved. All in all, we had a very positive experience with Graves Design and would gladly recommend them for similar jobs elsewhere.

AMW Construction Services LLC...
MW Construction is our dream team. From meeting with the company owner as we formed up our renovation plan to the in-house painters and carpenters, they were talented, professional, tidy, and so easy to have in the house for an extended period. The first phase of the project met Our meticulous standards and so we worked with our FABULOUS project manager, Matt Galassi to create some change orders for additional work. We had some glitches with subcontractors but Matt ran interference on all of that. He checked in with us at least daily, was very responsive to these glitches, and was a true delight.

Why hire for bathroom remodel?

You may choose to implement changes to the overall floor plan in order to make the space more efficient. You can size your shower, toilet, bathtub and cabinets to correctly fit the entire bathroom space.

You can also remodel your bathroom in order to replace leaking floors and to insulate walls from water damage. Adding advanced features such as high tech toilets, modern sink designs, and a luxurious bathtub is also a common reason for remodeling.

Cost of Bathroom remodeling

  • Most homeowners spend an average of $9,789 on remodeling their bathrooms.
  • The actual bathroom remodel cost can vary greatly, depending on the specific features.
  • If you’re only adding essential features, expect to incur $5,000-$7,000 on average.
  • Remodeling larger bathrooms and adding advanced features may cost $13,000- $15,000.

Here are some common bathroom remodeling costs:

1. Installing a new toilet: $130-$250 on the lower end, and $550-$780 on the higher range

2. Bathtub installation: $400-$1500 on the lower end, and $6000-$8000 for luxurious bathtubs.

3. Flooring costs: $800-$2000 for regular flooring, and $5000-$7000 for premium flooring (such as natural stone floors).

The bathroom is one of the most important parts of the home. It is a private space that allows for comfort and relaxation. Therefore, bathroom remodeling can make this part of the home more comfortable and useful for the entire family.
