Recent Review: As it turned out, the bats had left (thank goodness), but not before leaving behind a nasty pile of guano visible from the ground and a few wretched bat bugs.  PMSi sealed the holes where the bats were getting in, cleaned and disinfected the soffit area, and sprayed for bat bugs. We have one of those notorious Asburn tall / skinny townhouses that requires a very tall ladder.  We had a helluva time finding a contractor on our own (all said they would need cherry pickers for thousands of dollars), but Angie's List SnapFix put us in touch with PMSi - would highly recommend SnapFix and PMSi! Our inspector Jeff was extremely professional and helpful.   I would recommend PMSi for any critter or bug problem that may arise in your home!  The other folks we spoke with didn't even come at all close to being as professional or helpful, and now our house is clean and sealed  :)

Recent Review: When they came to inspect the property they said the excluder was only for the attic. We had to pay extra for the excluders for the shutters. They said they would be putting foam behind the shutters to keep the bats from going there. They were instructed to nail the shutters back after the foam was installed. They were supposed to clean out and disinfect the areas also. Neither job was done. There were still droppings after they left and the shutters were not nailed down. They said the shutter's nail was broke and it would've costed several extra hundred dollars to have them fix that. When we called the owner of the company to explain what had happened and to tell him the special instructions clearly stated to have the shutters nailed down, he got irritated. When we said we were going to contact Angie's List he told us we should lawyer up because he had an attorney. The work hasn't been fixed and the shutters look worse than before because of the bulkiness of the foam.

Ehrlich Pest Control
Recent Review: We have been very satisfied with them. The service man we had is Randy Everett. He is the one we had all these years. He is like a born kind and we have gotten to be friends over the years. I do trust him. His price is little much. They come back with no extra charge. I would use them in the future.

MTB Pest Control
Recent Review: The only available appt was at 6:30 in the morning. He came and looked around house and determined we had mice droppings and laid down lots of large glue traps in attic and basement despite the fact I have kids, cats and dogs that could get into them. Told me I needed to hire someone to fill all cracks in basement with spray foam or I would keep having mouse problems. Made a few other suggestions which were somewhat helpful about where access could be and left. I was worried my cats would get stuck on glue traps so I took all of them up and called another company. The other company came and said there were bat droppings and no evidence of mice!

AVeteran Pest & Wildlife Services...
The Technician from Veteran Pest & Wildlife Services did an excellent job. He inspected the attic and roof, found a gap below the chimney grate where a bat gained entry into home, and put wire mesh over the gap so that a bat could not re-enter home. Would highly recommend Veteran Pest & Wildlife Services - they are excellent.

Adam and Lauren arrived on time and inspected the attic. They confirmed the presence of just one bat, explained their plan for removing him and carried it out quickly and professionally. We appreciated their handling of the bat with care not to injure him & a plan for releasing him. They were super helpful.

AAdcocks Trapping Service...
I have used Adcock several times now and find them responsive, professional and reliable. The specialist spent well over an hour climbing around the outside of my home. He left me with a well written, detailed list of recommendations and a price for each of the recommendations (so I could choose how many of them I wanted to implement).

BHOME PARAMOUNT PEST CONTROL CO...
I was satisfied with the work that was done, initially. But, within months of getting rid of the squirrels, they were back. Not a big deal, since the work was guaranteed. However, I was charged for the cages used to capture the returning squirrels. I took issue with this charge, $350. I called to speak with manager, just to have a chance to let him explain to me how this was not covered under the warranty. At the very least, I wanted to keep the cages for future use, if I truly had to pay for them. I called numerous times and was told by the front desk person that she could not explain the reason for the charge. I asked to speak to a manager, hoping he could explain. But, each time, I was told he was unavailable and would return my call. He never did. Now, unfortunately, the hole that was repaired has been reopened, and there are bats entering where the squirrels once entered! I am frustrated and only want to have this company seal this hole, with the proper amount of flashing, etc,. to properly complete the job. I need to call them, again, and ask them to come fix the hole, and to get rid of the bats that have now entered. I am hoping that they will be much more diligent about resolving this matter, and that someone will actually call me to discuss the matter. If this issue cannot be properly addressed, I will not hire them again.

APest Proof...
Something was getting into my roofline or gutter at night &, on the recommendation of my regular pest control guy who doesn't handle wildlife, I called Mr. Littlejohn. He came quickly, assessed the situation for free, found no holes, discussed with me the possibilities of what it could be, and agreed we would talk after the gutters were cleaned. The gutter cleaning solved the problem. If I ever need any wildlife removal, I will call him in a heartbeat.

FConnor's Termite & Pest Control...
I ultimately had another company come out and provide the following assessment: 1. There were multiple entry points that were never sealed (including a large vent) 2. Bat feces that were part of the treatment were never removed. 3. The company did not seal or cleanse the area, it was very poor job. An area operations manager from Connor's finally responded back to me said he would look into the issue I have yet to hear from him regarding this issue. Note that other companies who do similar work have offered 5 year warranties. Connor was quick to deny any warranty was available In September 2017, I hired Connor's Pest to come out and remove bats that nested in my attic. A by-product of these bats were bat bugs which look very similar to bed bugs. Connor's was the first company to successfully identify this (as opposed to bed bugs). I was impressed at this so I decided to hire them for the removal and clean up. When I called the next day to inquire about services, I was informed the gentleman who did my inspection was no longer with the company. i waited one month to sign the contract and after emailing the company twice, I finally got confirmation for service. Connor's came out, and was supposed to seal and install a trap door on all entry and exit points where the bats could get in. Subsequently they were to come and sanitize the area where the bats were. I was never contacted about the sanitation but nonetheless was more than happy to get rid of the bats. Fast forward to 8/2018, I'm awaken to a bat flying around in my room at 4:30 am. I called the company the next day, told them what happened, and requested to know why the remedy put in place the previous year no longer worked. I was initially informed that it had been about a year and I shouldn't have any expectation of the remedy remaining effective. I informed them that I didn't believe a mechanical device (not chemical) should fail so quickly; especially since I paid a lot of money for the treatment. I was promised a call from a manager. Two days have passed and I have received nothing.

AVeteran Pest & Wildlife Services...
Morgan and company were very professional, timely and successful! We had approximately 50 bats roosting in the space above our second-story bathroom. They were removed successfully and with no disruption. Veteran's was the third estimate we received and we hired them based on price, professionalism, knowledge and overall confidence in their ability to do the job and be thorough. Highly recommend Morgan and this company!
