I am literally crying and incensed over my experience with this company. I am a disabled, single mother, and they completely and intentionally swindled me and made it so I can't feed my kids for the next few days. Not only that, but my plumbing is no better off than before they came. I called because of low water pressure in one of my bathrooms and a broken pop-up valve in the sink. I was told there would be a $69 diagnostic fee, that would be rolled into the cost. No problem, sounded reasonable for a water pressure repair. After refusing to go into my crawl space because of the day's rain and then checking around outside, the plumber advised me that there must be a "kink" in my line that would take a couple thousand to repair because my yard would have to be dug up, or else that the city just wasn't supplying me enough pressure. If the latter were to be true, he advised that the city would probably do nothing about it even if I tried. Dejected and knowing that I'd just have to put up with low pressure indefinitely because I had no "couple of thousand," I had him just do the stopper repair. He charged me over $180!!! I had a $30 coupon, and I was already into it for $69, so I grudgingly gave in to the repair. To do otherwise would have meant paying $69 for nothing at all. I'm sure this is the very type of scenario they bank on all day every day. Only this morning did I mentally take stock of the whole transaction and realize I could have had a whole new vanity sink combo with a working stopper for less than than the amount I wound up paying them! That amount is an entire week's worth of groceries for my family of three. Did I mention that I'm on disability? I also have an autistic son and a daughter to support. I (unfortunately too late) saw on another review site that a local a couple who are seniors and battling cancer tried to get the company to work with them on a much larger amount and return a portion of the ill-charged fee without success. The one other review on that site detailed a similar scenario. The fact that the company deals this way with people who are clearly struggling says a lot about their moral turpitude in general. This is obviously just the deplorable, unapologetic way they do business, no matter what.

Had an outside hose faucet repaired with their equipment in 2011 @ a cost of $284.00. This Spring it sprayed water everywhere except in the hose. Called RotoRooter & the plumber took the faucet apart & showed me a bent tiny red gasket-like part. Said they don't do that. Which means to me the part was defective. Said he would have to order a new part & the repair would cost me $284. I hoped he meant $2.84 which looked like what it should cost for the tiny part, but no, $284.00. A. that was my idea of unreasonable & B. Why would I want to replace something that had proved defective in just 2 years even if it weren't $284? I wouldn't & said so. Presented your $30 off certificate printed from Angie's List & was told it didn't apply since I wasn't having the work done, just paying $70 for the estimate. I waited a couple of days for them to call me back & say it was all a mistake & there would be only labor charge. Didn't happen. Never Again!
