The installer was professional, courteous, listened to my preference for system location and completed the job as I expected. I opted for the more expensive approach to vent the radon mitigation system through the roof vs. side of the house to hide the white PVC pipe and noise of fan.
My only concern was related to the number of "pits" they estimated vs. actual required. They try to upsell you on the number of pits but if they determine you need less they pocket the revenue. If you select less pits and they determine you need more it turns out to be more expensive than if you opted for more pits in the beginning. To be fair this was explained but I was a bit suspect of this business practice.
Overall, I would recommend even though a bit pricey, they are very professional and do the job right the first time.

We chose CFS over a competitor because we felt that we were getting the "hard sell" from the competitor. By comparison, we felt that Provider name locked. of CFS did not attempt to oversell the need for or benefits of the services that his company provides. We had consulted with both contractors as well as two different civil engineers to get some clear consensus on how much work needed to be done and how effective it would be. The other contractor's salesman, while pleasant to deal with, went to great lengths to sell us on the need for a much larger project involving other parts of the foundation. One civil engineer had said the additional work was an option, but did not strongly endorse it. The second engineer had recommended against the additional work because he considered it both unnecessary and not guaranteed to work. So, the recommendations we got from CFS agreed more closely with the civil engineers than did the competition's.
Provider name locked. and his staff were prompt and professional during every interaction. The installers worked efficiently and produced very little dust, which was a pleasant surprise, given that the first step is grinding down a masonry wall in preparation.

It turned out well. They repaired the inside trenching of the wall, a pump to pump out the water. I was having water coming into the basement in high rainy days. They were very thorough in making sure that the dust didn't migrate throughout the house because they created a lot of dust when they were breaking up the concrete and they took everything out and it was neat when they left. The laid tarp down so they didn't get dust on your carpet. The job held up very well. I can hear the pump going off whenever there's a heavy rain and I haven't had any water problems since the repair. They were effective in resolving the problem.- Toussaint H.
