    Robinhood Integrative Health
I got in the next day, but waited awhile. Front Desk staff were busy, and curt. I was assigned to a nurse practitioner who did a history and brief exam, but offered no answers, no help, not even empathy or what she though might be going on with me. She took labs that were not covered by my insurance, but did not ask me first, so I'm out $400. Then I found out at the front dest, that she wrote for me to come back in 3-4 weeks, and that I could not get lab results without coming back. I could not see a doctor cause was assigned to the NP. I had to email the founder a few times and finally got lab results send to my former MD in ASheville. I had to drive (sick as I was) 3 hours to ASheville. My doctor there put me on antibiotics, which I really needed and I will never go back to Robinhood. (I am an RN, and was really sad about their poor care, and that I did not get any help from them at all)

Dr Syed is the best!!! She listens to everything and I really felt like her family member rather then just a number. I have felt like just money prior with other docs.

    Cornerstone Healthcare -Brookview Hills Internal
As part of the Cornerstone Network, they have long experience in computerized medical records. Therefore, all patient records are available to any Cornerstone practitioner. Wonderful office staff, very little wait time, easy to get an appointment (even on short notice), and the only negative is that it's difficult to get prescription renewals.

    Eagle Family Medicine at Triad
I have seen him for over 10 years. He listens and is interested in how you're doing. He is careful about medication and adjusts it to your needs. He is very careful about the prescriptions in regards to any allergies you may have. He is an outstanding family physician.

    Salem Family Practice
Dr. Ashley Perrott is the newest physician on staff at Salem Medical, and I was able to get an appointment very quickly--within a day or two, for these non-emergency reasons. I was seen promptly and greeted warmly by each of the staff members. Dr. Perrott spent a great deal of time with me--probably at least 30 minutes. She carefully reviewed my history, conditions, and medications with me, and she showed a real interest in my health and well-being. I did not feel at all rushed. She carefully examined my knee, made a diagnosis, and had physical therapy scheduled for me within a a few days' time. She arranged for specialists' offices to call me, and those appointments were made quickly as well. A month or two later when I had to have some out-of-state prescriptions renewed, I was able to email in my request to Dr. Perrott. Unfortunately the mail-in pharmacy mistakenly indicated to the doctor's office that the prescription was no longer a covered benefit. I knew that the pharmacy rep. was misinformed, so I followed up with both the pharmacy and the doctor's office. Chery, Dr. Perrott's nurse, re-faxed the prescription. When it was rejected again, she called, and called, and finally spoke with someone who understood that the prescription was indeed a covered benefit. Cheryl was just wonderful to work with. It would have been a lot easier for her to simply tell me my medication was longer available, and to have the doctor prescribe something else. But she didn't take the easy way out. She hung in there, and I now have the medication that has worked well for me for years. I love the caring treatment that this practice provides, and I highly recommend Dr. Perrott and her nurse, Cheryl.

    Salem Family Practice
It went very well. Betsy was very kind and considerate and took all the time needed to make a full observation of the problem. She made the recommendations that we needed in order to be able to find the right treatment for his sleeping disorder. She ran all the necessary lab tests right then.

For the most part this is a very good clinic/family practice. The doctors and essential staff are very competent and caring. The problem that I have experienced is not being able to contact the practice after hours where your condition is debilitating but not serious enough to warrant a visit to an already overcrowded ER and/or urgent care. In addition having to wait for several hours exposed to numerous bacteria and air borne viruses. Then you see an MD who knows nothing about you or your medical history and seems frustrated that you came to the ER. I agree with the ER staff, that your condition is not an emergency or life threatening, however needs medical attention. My expectation for having a PCP is to have access when one needs to see a doctor for things such as a stomach virus, strep throat, etc. Most of the illnesses need something such as an antibiotic, cough syrup, anti nausea shot and/or anti diarrhea medication. This system is very frustrating when you are sick and need to see your PCP. I can understand why health care costs have reached an all time high. Most PCP practices have more than one doctor on staff, could all be avoided if the doctors could rotate being on call. Even if the practice sets a higher on call fee, patients could be seen by the on-call doctor at the PCP practice.

    Lakeside Family Physicians
The office staff is very friendly, and both doctors are very personable for probably eight years now. They spend time with you, and they listen to you. I just always have a good experience with them, and I just highly recommend either one of them. Their staff there is very good, very friendly, very helpful and very nice.

I've been dealing with them for a couple of years. It's great and very pleasant. I love my PA and his name is Brian and they take your appointments on time. They don't rush you through, they answer all types of questions and they return your calls.
