"Encouraged by the positive reviews on Angie's List, I contacted this provider for a quote to repair a
Washington Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
. Initially, I was asked to provide measurements and photos so that the provider could send me a quote. I explained the services I wanted. While I did get an initial response, after a week of waiting on the provider to schedule a time to visit my property to do a more thorough inspection, I was advised that the provider was too busy to do the work, and that I should contact them again some other time. I followed up repeatedly, but I was strung along for over a week before ultimately being told that they were too busy to provide the service.

was patient and understanding with our thousand questions, the 'be back to go overs', and so much more from a woman who had NEVER done even a small re-decorating project, let alone, a whole house renovation. He worked with me, my Assistant and my Design Consultant - and never seemed frustrated (by working with a committee of 3 women)!
While the project was estimated to take 60 days, I was prepared for it to go 90 days.
At one point, we asked for 'a break' to get a week off from the working, working, working. And PHS was great about
it. Ultimately, the
Washington Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
took 6 months to be completely complete but we were understanding because 'everything takes longer than you think it will'. When we let
Washington Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
know we had an event coming up at the house, and that the place needed
to be 'good to go' - PHS didn't make excuses - they met the deadline we needed them to meet.
PHS was there every day from early to late to get the job done. When District Inspectors didn't show or showed at the wrong time, the crew worked extra long hours to 'catch up' on the schedule. (We didn't know that work must cease until certain things 'passed inspection' - the crew just did workarounds and other smaller tasks and used the time very wisely.) This company's employees have a 'work ethic' rarely found in young, skilled workers nowadays. Polite, friendly, quiet, even tempered - just everything you'd want in folks who spend 5 months at your house every day.
Friends using other contractors, who have done far less (one bathroom remodel), were left for weeks with things unfinished,
job site abandoned for long periods with no explanation and endless excuses and even worse attitudes. So when
I heard their stories, I had even more reasons to be happy with my choice.
Every request/question/concern was responded to with full disclosure. PHS is the most professional and transparent
business I've ever dealt with. The truth - good or bad - is their standard.

even went an extra mile to engage
Washington Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
to clean the ducts and the furnace. When we found
Washington Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
blew all the duct cleaning dust back into the house, he backed me up in requesting them to make restitution.
And we lived in the house through the whole thing! Only as the project was winding down did
Washington Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
tell us they
didn't usually have owners living in the house for a project as extensive as ours. While noise and dust are part of remodeling - the PHS crew was diligent about hanging plastic around work areas to limit the dust outside the work area and EVERY DAY before they left the jobsite, one or more of the crew would vacuum, clean up as best they could and put tools and supplies in neat
piles so we could 'live in the space'.
Sure issues arose - we had 'people' in our house every week day (and some Saturdays) for 5 months. But the issues were addressed when we asked for a review meeting and changes were made as needed to accommodate our comfort level.
My sister, who has remodeled extensively over the years, - was so impressed with PHS, that she gave me high

such a great contractor my first time out!

is the perfect name for this company.

"Pretty badly. We called several times with no response. They finally returned the call Saturday afternoon AFTER I had chosen another company.

"Overall it was very good. We got a door that was 76" rather than the standard 72" glass and even with that increase the price was still 10-15% below our other estimates. We didn't get any other upgrades (towel bars, special door handles, etc) so our door was just

and basic and it turned out great. The only issue was that we ordered the door on a Tuesday and were told that the door would come in on the following Monday or Thursday. In reality in came in a week later than that. There was no phone call on the initial Thursday to let us know that it wasn't in yet, nor any explanation for why it wasn't in when we were told it would be there.
The only issue with the installation is that we were told that they would get there between 0930-1200 but they didn't actually arrive until almost 1:00 and again there was no phone call to let us know that they were running behind. Once they got there, the installers (

and Glass was very professional from beginning to end. They called before they arrived, arrived on time (during the early part of the time frame they gave me), fitted my window with a temporary panel and two weeks later brought my repaired window back and installed it. It took a little longer than expected to get my window back because they were waiting on the factory, but it was only by a few days.

"They did a pretty good job. They were a little sloppy. I had to have them come back and redo the gasket around the window because it wasn't put in smoothly and you could see it in some places. They were glad to come back and redo it. All-in-all I was satisfied. It was a good price, too."

"I called
Washington Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
& Glass to see about repairing a broken pain of glass. He was able to come the same day. While he was there, I decided to see about the casement window that had water between the pains, and he was able to replace the glass for me. I then decided to have an attic window replaced. All three services were done within 5 days of each other. Arrival time was exactly when stated, and there were no surprises. I felt I got a fair price and quality workmanship."

is the handy woman and she is really very good, but sometimes she has other things to do. Our basement apartment is not very sophisticated. It’s for our children and it’s kind of basic. The cabinets put in by her were not very expensive. We basically gave her the specifications and she pretty much chose the stuff. She went to a store and got all the stuff. Her choices were fine. She did a great job. She was very efficient and responsive on that. Once you have lost her, it’s hard to get her back again. I think she is pretty popular, but I
Washington Glass Repair Companies Provider Name Locked
’t know. She is a very approachable person and nice to deal with. She got the materials and we paid her for the materials. So, the price was probably somewhere between $1500 and $2000. We want her to come back. She has been doing work on and off for us for almost four years. Her prices are good. We have never had to do anything very sophisticated. It’s sad when it comes to her responsiveness. When she is committed to do a job, she gets it done. She has never ever not finished what she has started. There are enough contractors who would start and leave you in the lurch, but she never does that. If she says she is coming to do it, she comes and does it. It’s always done in good timing. So, that’s much more important than she returning your phone calls. She doesn’t do what the other contractors do at all. You can let

in your house and you can be absolutely fine with that. She is absolutely fine. She is very trustworthy and very honest. I would definitely use her services in the future too if I can get a hold of her.

"All of the Case workmen performed in a thoroughly professional manner. We were pleased with the job every step of the way.
We had some difficulty communicating in a timely fashion with the design representative. At that time (October - December 2010) there were some glitches with workmen schedules. Case explained that they were transitioning from sending us workmen from the handyman service to a more complete contract workforce. Since we had signed a contract for the remodelling of our bathroom, we thought the scheduling would go a bit smoother than it did. However, when all is said and done, we were pleased with the quality of work that Case did. "
