    L & G Contractor LLC
Great! We had several projects in need of quick completion. We wanted to maintain the retro vibe of our 1950s home, but update it. The laundry room and bathroom were framed out and completed in two weeks, and look beautiful. We were initially unsatisfied with some finishings on the free standing fire place, but changes were made to our liking with no additional charge. Our home looks like a photo from a magazine!

    Willis Builders Inc
Slight delay in starting work and then project was on schedule and remained on schedule. Mathew Willis was very helpful at all stages and provided good advice and recommendations. Because this was a basement bathroom we asked him for his recommendations and followed them on tile, appliances, windows, etc. We also had him do the purchase and installation of everything. As easy as such a renovation could be.

They got here eventually. Two different people actually, by mistake, I guess, intending to do the same job. One left. The man who remained was certainly nice enough. He suggested I change the door knob itself and then proceeded to install it. At first it was fine. Over the course of the following day, it loosened up and jiggles constantly now with every turn, much like the original problem. I made numerous calls to the company to correct this. They said they would come out but because of their schedule and my job ( which is on-call), we missed each other. When we finally managed to arrange a date, they forgot apparently. 'John' nicely apologized for keeping me waiting and sought to schedule another appointment. I had to go at that point but said I would call back the next day. When I did so, and ever since, the only response I got was from a machine that declared, "I'm sorry but the person you called has a voice mail that has not been set up yet. Good bye."

    Wall to Wall Construction, Inc
I was very pleased with the process and the finished result. Angel Tuesta Noel, the owner of the business, is very hands-on and responded quickly whenever I had questions or when we encountered the need to deviate from the architects plans. The whole project was completed in 4 1/2 months, with the only delay being due to coordination with DCRA inspectors. Angel had lots of suggestions for ways to enhance the overall design of the project and save me money.

    Wall to Wall Construction, Inc
We loved working with Angel and the Wall to Wall Construction team. They were professional, hard working, patient, honest and did excellent work. We have been remodeling our nearly 150 year old house for the last year and not only did Angel do a great job with the major renovations but he also patiently worked through an extensive to do list of minor repairs and follow up work fixing mistakes made by a previous contractor. He was always very responsive and thorough in explaining a problem and a solution. I would highly recommend working with him and will be working with him again very soon.

    KingCaire Construction
Kingcaire is the best in the business! I have used a number of good contractors in the past, but I'd place Kingcaire at the very top of my list. Top notch professional with superb, in-depth knowledge and skills - and add honesty and fair dealings - this is Kingcaire. I have used this team for two very large projects with resounding success. I'd bet money on this team of professionals. I'd trust them with my grandmother they are son honest and sensitive to the needs and desires of the customer. If you need an excellent contractor that will listen to you, treat you well, not overcharge you or nickel and dime you - this is your guy. Look no further than Billy M. for your construction needs.

    AJ Construction & Development LLC
We couldn't be happier with the result! Not that the outcome was ever in doubt, as this was the fourth project on our house by AJ and his team. Prior work included a complete renovation of our kitchen in 2013, followed by new ceilings, walls, and lighting throughout the rest of the first floor, and restoration in the basement following some foundation work. We started with the third-floor bathroom first, so that we would have a nice, new bathroom to use when the construction would necessitate we vacate the second floor. The third-floor bathroom was expanded into space that had previously been occupied by a long-disused kitchenette. The remainder of the kitchenette was converted into a large walk-in closet with very sturdy custom shelves. AJ also finished an area of the third floor sitting room that had been left roughed-in by the roofer when the third floor was extended back about seven feet during a recent roof replacement. For good measure, we also has AJ prep and paint the entire third-floor sitting room and guest room and install all new recessed LED lighting to complete the beautification. Once the third floor was finished, the second-floor bathroom and spare bedroom were gutted and the separating wall removed. The entire space was stripped down to studs and joists, which included removal of the original clawfoot tub and breaking up and removing six inches of concrete between the floor joists that formed the entire floor of the 110-year-old bathroom. Once all of that was removed--along with all plumbing and electrical--new leveling joists were married to the original joists in floor and ceiling; same with the wall studs. The new spaces were framed, and all new plumbing and electrical service was run. The sub-floor in the shower was laid with a continuous slope toward the shower head end for the desired end drain opposite the sill-less, walk-in entrance. Two zones of Schluter floor heating were installed, with separate controls for the shower and vanity area/water closet. Large ceramic tiles were used for two of the shower walls; the third wall is a sheet of half-inch thick, acid-etched glass. Large ceramic tiles were also used for the floor of the entire space, minus the shower floor, which used two-inch shower floor tiles. A doorway was created between the bedroom and bath where there had never been one. Drywall, painting, installation of all cabinets and electrical and plumbing fixtures followed, along with installation of a pocket door for the water closet and sliding barn doors for the bedroom and both doors into the vanity and storage areas. Three new windows were installed, along with a sewing counter in the laundry area. AJ's highly skilled team drove the work, with sub-contractors brought in for plumbing, electrical, and tile installation. AJ's team always showed up on time, cleaned up at the end of each day, took meticulous care of the house in and around the work site, and delivered the highest quality, artisan-level work on a continuous basis. AJ was on-site daily, delivering supplies, checking on his team, and providing updates as needed to my wife and me. All subcontracted work was well-scoped and personally reviewed by AJ. Clear communication, attention to detail, and delivery of the highest-quality result are AJ's trademarks. We have never worked with another contractor who instills the level of confidence that we have in AJ and his team. And that's fine, because, at this point, I don't think we would ever work with anyone else.

    L&T Contractors Inc
L&T Contractors is a five star company. We have utilized their services three times: in 2014 for a major kitchen reno in College park, MD; in 2017 for stellar roof work and a custom gate at our home in NE DC and again for a 3-month gut job and new apartment/AirBnB in 2019. Honestly, their professionalism, competitive pricing, attention to detail and cleanliness goes unmatched. From the moment we started getting quotations, Wilder stuck out as the most responsive, communicative and knowledgeable. My wife and I are property managers and used to working through a range of small to large companies. We take our time to select those that we entrust access to our house and who can meet a deadline. L&T has consistently met all expectations from detailed contract development to major home reno, electrical and plumbing. You will only be wowed never disappointed with choosing L&T Contractors.

    Mr Locksmith DC
We had a difficult job and solicited multiple locksmiths. We have old fashioned locks on our bedroom doors that needed to be replaced with modern doorknobs and locks. Ron was prompt to contact us, arrange a time, and he showed up at the agreed upon time and finished early. His work was solid. He even came back on a holiday to finish the job. I am pleased to recommend Ron at Mr. Locksmith DC.
