    He never called and I finally sent him a text after 20 minutes of him being late then he stated that he had a flat tire and probably wouldn't be able to come today but maybe could make it on it on Monday and could reditthe cost. No I work Monday, he was hired for a specific day for a reason. Besides I had to contact him, he wasn't even going to let me know he wasn't coming to move my stuff??? What kind of business runs like that?? Very disappointed, luckily I had friends to help otherwise there was no one to get on that short of notice.

    I never ended up using this company, my car needed service and put me in a bind... I called the company and explained. They offered other ways but it was just out of my means. The company demonstrated excellent customer service from start to finish and happily refunded my deposit. If I ever need a moving company in the future, I will definitely call them!!!

    If you are looking for a Moving Company I would definitely suggest this company . I was in the middle of a move when my husband had a heart attack . I was lost and did not know what to do, The management team came to action after hours and moved the entire house and had everything set and ready to come home to . I don't know what I would have done with out them . Thank You so much for being there for my family when we need it the most ! The best of the best !

    The worst customer service I have ever received! I have never had upper management be so rude and degrading when there was a miscommunication error on their part. When receiving a quote, I was never told that the full amount was due prior to the move date. I received a call from them the day before my move asking for full payment. I was very confused and starting explains to them I was never told about this and that I could pay after the move was complete. While explaining this to management, he was very nasty towards me and activing as if I was annoying him by telling him what I was told a month ago. No apologies for the understanding and not trying to work with me. No empathy whatsoever. All he kept doing was screaming at me that this is company policy. He then went to say they can���t trust is to get payment after because they don���t trust that the credit card would go through. Well if it���s company policy, then they should have told me that when I asked for a quote and setting everything up. To top it all off, I asked for a refund for my deposit for the way I was treated and not going to use them anymore. I did receive in the email stating I will get the refund, but still no apologies for the way they acted. I don���t recommend this company to anybody. People deserve to be treated with respect and not feel so disrespected after a phone call. By far the worst customer service ever!!! I will never recommend this company to anybody who is moving.

    After being scammed by internet movers, this company came in and saved the day! I had to fire movers the actual day of my move, which created delays for two home closings (my buyers in Va. and my own closing in Md.) I contacted Friendly and Affordable Movers on a Monday morning and explained my situation, as I had to to get loaded and out of my house ASAP. Dan, the owner, came that very afternoon, told me he could have my things loaded on his truck the very next morning (Tuesday) and gave me a reasonable quote (especially considering they were moving me right away during the busiest moving season of the year!) The movers arrived the next day on time (actually a bit early!) and proceeded to load my household items. The movers were pleasant, professional, gracious and competent. Each one shook my hand when they left. They delivered my load in Baltimore on Thursday and once again arrived right on time (actually a bit earlier!). Once again, the truck was unloaded into my new home competently. The movers were once again professional and pleasant. I thank all of them for a job well done!!

    The BrickKicker Home Inspections
    This is no longer a complaint or request to provide a service that is owed to me. This review is now just to offer feedback to inform this company how completely unsatisfied I am and hopefully save the next customer from the same dissatisfaction. I am a first time home buyer, so you can only imagine how excited I was once we got close to closing, to just hurry up and get it over with. I hired Brickkickers to perform my inspection shortly before my closing date. I hired Brickkickers with faith and trust that they will help me make an informed decision. Immediately after rendered services I tended to some of the items the adjuster recommended, because he was the professional- he was who I trusted. I completely understand that I am simply paying for the opinion of the adjuster- strictly an opinion, however I trusted that opinion and lack thereof. Not even a week after living in my home, a few things started to go wrong. Things such as the garbage disposal, toilet leaks, the water pressure. Every repair person I've had come out says that it should have easily been detected by the inspector. It upsets me every time I hear it because I know its true. It upsets me that I am paying for these repairs when had the adjuster noted them in his report, they could have been taken care of by the previous owners prior to closing... had I known about them. I get that this is just an opinion, however I would expect for these opinions to have been notated. I should have been informed in writing that these concerns should be tended to- but they weren't. So not only have I paid $300+ for Brickkickers service, but I still ended up paying for the repairs that the service should have prevented me from paying. I trusted Brickkickers to assist in my decision to purchase this home in its condition, and Brickkickers failed me miserably! The adjuster finally came back out after repeatedly having to contact him and his boss to address some of my concerns and he simply said to my face, its not his job to detect these problems. He said how would he know there was a problem with the washer machine when he simply just lets it run- He does a basic check. For $300+ anyone would expect a little more of a better opinion than just the "basic". I was completely taken advantage of because I wasn't knowledgeable. And its unfair because I knew I wasn't knowledgeable to make an informed decision and trusted Brickkickers to be there for me- and they weren't. I would NEVER recommend any of my family members or friends to use this service for a home inspection. Never!

    Estimator never did walk through. 30 minutes before job, manager called saying was going to cost most to do the move. Spoke with an estimator who said he would come by to do a walk through, but never showed and instead tried to estimate over the phone, quoting a simple move at around $800, dated 5/25/2019 for move on 6/1/2019. 30 min prior to truck showing on 6/1/2019, get a call from Paul wanting to go over what needed to be done. Same conversation I had with the estimator. Paul said that the estimate was too low, it would cost about $500 more...30 min before the truck was scheduled to show!!! I said the estimator was supposed to COME TO THE HOUSE to see what I wanted done. Paul admitted that that was wrong of the estimator and that Paul has been cleaning up that estimator's messes. I said I agreed to the estimate. Paul said I was free to cancel the less than 30 min prior to my scheduled move. I said I needed to move today (6/1). Paul said the move will cost more money. I said that I will not be able to give a good review. Paul said that he'll then cancel the move. I asked why. Paul replied because of what I just said. I said I needed to move and told him not to cancel. Since Paul changed the arrangements of the move, my originally quoted price was applied to the pick up portion, but the additional charges was applied to the drop off. I'm thinking I was charged twice for fuel, truck, mileage. The tablet used to "sign" everything was confusing and kept dropping offline. To get my property off the truck that damaged my property, I had to agree to an additional $900 cost due to the estimator's screw up. Paul said he was not going to do at $1500 move for the agreed upon quote of $800. Again, I'm behind a rock and hard place. Paul was very condescending in our discussions. I had to agree to the additional charge to get my stuff off the truck. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I ever had. Paul even accused me of adding stuff on to the original estimate. He was not part of that phone call and again, the estimator never showed to see exactly what I wanted moved. There was a lack of professionalism, attention-to-detail, integrity and accountability. I question whether this last-second holding the customer hostage with cancelling a move last second and/or get property off a truck to charge more money, is a common practice with this company.

    Beneath Crawl Space Services-Mark Brown
    Mark did a phenomenal job! He showed up with short notice because the first company we called no-showed. We had to get a few things in our crawl space corrected before the sale of our home. He was able to get under the house and inspect quickly and came back with a more than reasonable price. He came back to the house same week and did all the repairs in one day. We were more than pleased with his work! We will always recommend Mark to friends, family and acquaintances!

    Excellent, very cordial and polite staff, very accommodating, they worked from 8:00 until 4:00 pm on a very hot day and I never heard any of them complain, they just stayed steady at work. Excellent company, I would definitely refer and/or use them again.
