    Bay Beach Veterinary Medical Clinic
I had been taking my dog Hope to Bay Beach for 10 years....10 YEARS...and today July 13, 2020 I was talked to by the most disrespectful staff EVER in my entire life. I will NEVER return to Bay Beach. Hope was there on June 5, 2020 for her annual physical and she was doing great. NOTES by Dr Cronin:skin looks normal, hair coat in good condition, eyes clear, lungs clear, beautiful bloodwork, etc. Everything was perfect. Because of COVID I was not allowed to go inside of course & they said they would email my receipt. I called several times requesting it but never received it. Hope has an autoimmune disease vaccine induced Ischemic dermatopathy that Dr. Honaker if Bay Beach diagnosed in 2015 and added NO VACCINES to her medical records. Hope lost most of her fur and was in tremendous pain and she almost died. If it had not been for Dr Honaker and with medications prescribed and monitored by a dermatologist, over a year, Hope would not have survived. Hope's fur grew back and she was finally better, and she continues to see the dermatologist annually as well. Within 2 weeks of Hope's annual checkup at Bay Beach on June 5th, Hope's fur starting getting thin and some places gone completely and now her skin is bleeding. I knew something must have happened at her visit that caused it. I sent an email on Sunday July 12th requesting the receipt and finally received it. They gave her a vaccine WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. And her medical chart states NO VACCINES!!! This morning Monday July 13, 2020 I took Hope to Bay Beach for Dr Cronin to look at her skin, just look at her thru the glass and tell me WHY she was given a vaccine. The front desk staff REFUSED to get Dr Cronin or even a Vet tech to come out and look at Hope. I asked when I could see or talk to Dr Cronin and they said she is very busy and booked up. They told me I could see and Emergency Vet and pay the ER fee. I said Bay Beach caused this problem and I will not pay for their mistake. Breeanna, front desk staff told me that would be the only way or I could go elsewhere. I said give me Hope's medical records and I will go elsewhere. They said they would have to email them to me. If you love your pet, take them to a different Veterinary practice because obviously Dr Kimberly Key, owner of Bay Beach has little concern for the well-being of your loved ones. I posted this review on YELP also along with pictures. Today July 24th I received Hope's Vet records in the mail along with a letter stating they would no longer serve Hope even in an Emergency. I had requested an 3rd refill yesterday for Hope's meds and today Allison the office manager called and said I couldn't have it and they will no longer service Hope or any other pet. I tried to tell Allison my side of what happened and she hung up on me. PLEASE AVOID BAY BEACH IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET.. I've attached photos of what her skin looked like after Bay Beach gave her a vaccine she wasn't supposed to get..

    A Glawmorous Pet Pawlor Mobile
If I could give negative stars I would. These arrogant, rude and malevolent people who work and own this pathetic business completely butchered my dog’s hair. It’s going to be a long explanation below, brace yourselves. My senior dog, a 14 y.o. shih tzu named Roxy, was taken here one previous time about a month or two prior and they did an excellent job. No issues or obviously we would not have brought her back. On July 3, 2020, my parents brought her in for another grooming appointment. Now, my mom has taken her to various places throughout her 14 years of life (Canine Designs, Petco). The only reason we went elsewhere is because Canine Designs has not been operational lately due to COVID. Anyway, my mom is EXTREMELY thorough when giving instructions for when Roxy gets groomed. Since Roxy was a puppy, she has written clear and concise notes to give to the groomer EACH time she gets groomed (i.e. short cut, keep ears long, top knot or put hair in pig tails, keep rest of hair short). Honestly, it’s pretty impossible to mess it up when you have directions. She is a senior dog and does have occasional seizures. Knowing this, Glawmorous took on Roxy with her age, medical conditions and approval from her vet to say she was allowed to be groomed. Hence the fact that I mentioned that she has been groomed here previously. Today, she was groomed and upon picking her up, her hair had been completely butchered. They cut her top knot hair OFF. My dad asked why and was given then answer, “Well she was wiggly and non-compliant when we were trying to trim her hair so we just chopped it off.” I’m sorry, in what world is that ok?! If she was not being cooperative, why would you not call either of my parents and inform them of that before cutting it off? It was a solid 5 inches or more of hair that was taken down to about 1/2 an inch. There’s no way to do pigtails or a top knot that she usually has. My mom called to address the situation and naturally, the owner, Donna? Dawn? Debbie? Might as well have been Karen. Whatever her name is, was extremely rude and refused to take responsibility for what happened. She instead provided excuses. She quickly said that no one ever told my father that Roxy was giving the groomers a hard time. Her next excuse was that they don’t take dogs over 12 years old. Funny you say that because Roxy is 14 and you didn’t mind taking her last time as well as our money. The third excuse was that my mom’s instructions were confusing. If they were confusing, you should have asked for clarification when my mom went over them with you and asked if you had questions. The fourth excuse was that you tried to turn it around and say that she was wobbly and therefore she should have been groomed in the mobile grooming unit. Ok? So why did you not do it there? There are so many excuses here but not one of them makes ANY SENSE. Take responsibility! My father also said that one of your lovely associates said, “Well, she needed to get that weight off of her head anyway.” Quite frankly I don’t think that’s your decision to make or your groomer’s decision. It’s not your dog—thankfully. I wouldn’t take her back to your salon if my life or anyone else’s life depended on it. You offered to not charge us and to bring her back. Why would we do that? It looks like a 2 year old child cut her hair. It’s embarrassing and you should be ashamed to call yourselves a business. I will let everyone I know about how you handled this matter and how disrespectful you were on the phone to me. I’m sure your response to this will say otherwise, however the pictures tell the truth. If you take your furry friends here, do so at your own risk.

    JA-Pens Grooming Salon
I was a little nervous as this was Murphy's first grooming experience since I had adopted my little Shih Tzu mix only 2 months and 2 weeks earlier. He had not been thoroughly socialized but did GREAT with the dogs they keep at the salon!! He even visited with 4 or 5 of them while waiting for me to pick him up and they all got along so well, so I was thrilled. The cut was excellent and he looked "stinking cute" as the groomer Laura said! I will definitely be taking Murphy back!! This was a great experience all around and I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

    Pet Care Veterinary Hospital
I've dealt with them for years. We lost our dog and got another one and took her in. We wanted to bring her in for a meet and greet with the vet. He gave her the once over and a quick check up. We got some flea stuff and a bunch of other stuff. The cost included visit, treatment and treats. The personal are all real friendly. We spent thousands of dollars on our other dog. They were really good with her. I've been told they charge a little more than other people, but I don't go anywhere else and I feel the price is fair. I think they are very comparable to everyone else. I will continue to use them because they were so good with our other dog.

    Purrocious Styles Feline Designs
I've been taking my large, older, long-haired cat to Purrocious Styles for more than a year now. It has made a huge difference in the cat's quality of life and ours. He always used to have mats on his chest and shed horribly. He is clean and happy and sheds so much less now. I am so glad I found Purrocious Styles, and I definitely recommend them to anyone else who has a cat.

LaDean is amazing! My long-haired super-shedder no longer leaves furballs all over my house and my family. My growler no longer has to be sedated in order to be groomed, which is amazing because he always responds badly to sedation. My elder kitty can finally be groomed without getting so stressed out that she is sick for days. We were introduced to soft paws, which lets the cats knead on us without scratching us and saves our furniture and carpets, too. I am so glad I found LaDean, she has seriously increased the quality of life for both my cats and my family.

    PET SMART
They've been very good.  They're great cost-wise.  That's why I keep going back to them.  They're pretty good all the way around.  They're great, they're nice, they're quick, prices are great.  They seem like they care, which is always a good thing when it is with your pets.  I've been going through them for awhile and I keep going back.  I've tried a mom & pop shop but they're always a little bit too pricey for me.  So services and price range and they're very professional, and I've got lots of dogs; they take the time to ask what I want, so yeah, they're great.

    Fur Frenzy Pet Spa
I give them an A. I use them every couple of months any way. And I do recommend them. Patient! My dog was frightened at the loud hair dryers at other locations and they allowed her to air dry, kept her for an extra hour so that she wouldn't be alarmed. She wet herself when she heard the really noisy hair dryers. So, they worked with her. They were sympathetic. They were caring and understanding. They charge the going rate. It's not particularly cheap or anything.

    The Happy Dog Salon
They were absolutely wonderful at the Happy Dod Salon. They were told of previous problems and said they would give it a try. They did a great job at great price and even invited out dog Sara back for more services. The people are very caring and professional. The place is clean and orderly. And we loved the doggie day care area we could see from the front office. Three full size couches with dogs laying side-by-side on them. Cutest thing in the world. We love this place.

    Acredale Animal Hospital
We love them. They have been over the moon with trying to accommodating him. They were patient with him. He was out of control and upset with having his nails clipped. He was not easy to deal with and never lost their patience.
