Horrifying Massage! I thought he was going to kill me the pressure and pain was so hard and I told him it was too hard, but he continued to torture me. It hurt so bad it made me cry. It's been 5 days and I'm still sore and my neck and shoulder still tense. They told me I had to pay a $2 tax and that Groupon didn't pay them their commission. A lot of guilt related dialog, and they guarded the door before I left. Regardless of the horrible massage I paid a fair tip ($15) but I will never go back there. I wished I'd read the reviews prior to buying the wasted Groupon. This place shouldn't be open.

Very thorough. Initial visits require evaluaion "tests" done by a machine that measures stress and basic back and spine condition/alignment. A plan for treatments was conducted and you are briefed by one of the doctors to explain the process. Process can be lengthly depending on your problems, but also general and regular visits can maintain a healthy body condition. Kempsville Chiropractic has an overall health program providing chiropractic, therapy and massage all at one location. If you have back, neck or have general health problems, they may be able to help. The back and nerve systems of the body are all interconnected. If you have pain, the body is telling you something is wrong. Highly recommend this service. They do accept insurance and have staff who deal specifically with insurance and payment plans.

Your Appointment was verified and confirmed. The staff at the front desk are VERY welcoming.  There are 4 female and one male who do the massages.  I did not request any specific person.  They are very punctual and do take the entire hour - or as you desire - for the massage.  No rocks or fancy stuff - just straight Swedish type, deep tissue or not (your choice). Massage room was small but very quiet and calming. I would recommend them highly - but it is a busy place given all the care they provide.  If you have issues with your back - this is a full service provider. Have never seen a chiropractic practice with all three services in one location.  I plan to return for more than just a massage.

I used the Angie's Deal for my first visit which was a consult and x-rays as well as some other tests.  The Deal was an excellent savings given all the tests and priliminary infomration required for them to plan the follow-on treatment. It took about 2 hours to do everything on this initial visit, so plan accordingly.  The staff was very friendly and helpful, as well as the doctors.  I talked to three doctors during my visit. They get your general information and did a preliminary exam to get your history and general complaints (pain, stiffness, etc.) They take blood pressure and reflex tests for all your joints, as well as strength and balance tests. They are quite thorough and I was informed of everything they were doing and why.  The "deal" was for the initial consult and x-rays - but did not include the first "treatment".  The information is collected and the doctors discuss their plan for your follow-on treatment, which takes some time.  However, I was scheduled for my follow-up on the next day.   They were busy, but I noticed their "regular" patients were in and out  rather quickly.  Being my first visit, they spent more time with me.  The additional services provided is massage therapy which is a nice addition for chiropractic care and I plan to take advantage of this as well.  I found the visit pleasing and very educational as well as content with their attention to detail.  I look forward to my follow-on visits and plan to use their service for my continued well-being and health.

She gives a great deep tissue massage. Great relief for my tight muscles throughout my entire body.
The business is really just one massage therapist who knows a bit about many different massage techniques. She has a clinical background and is able to combine her knowledge of eastern and western medicine with intuition to deliver very effective results.

Great experience. They have everything you need in one office from message therapy to trainers. The most friendly staff I have ever encountered in a service industry. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good chiropractor that also provides great service.

Since my longtime regular masseuse moved away from the area eight months ago, I have been searching for someone to take her place. I tried several therapists, but none gave the kind of massage I was looking for -- until I met Mary at Crystal Gardens. She was just what I was seeking. I like a pretty deep massage, and she complied with my request. She will tailor her service to whatever kind of massage the client wants. I have taken massage classes, given massages, and had massages from many people over the course of 40 years, and Mary's skills are as good as any I have experienced. She is a former nurse, and her medical training is a plus. Twice during our 90-minute session I had minor issues, including a muscle cramp, and she quickly and effectively alleviated the problems. In addition Mary is a delightful person whom I really enjoyed getting to know. I will be seeing her regularly in the future. She moved to area from Pennsylvania only recently, but I am sure she will become very popular here.

The first appointment was running tests, doing xrays and doing the research to understand what was wrong.

The second appointment went over the results of what was identified and coming up with a course of treatment and a recommendation.  I was adjusted for the first time in that second appointment and noticed results immediately.  My back, neck and shoulders began to loosen and I was able to regain full mobility by that evening.  I'm sure those results aren't typical, but they sure made me a believer and I'm a previous skeptic when it comes to chiropractic care.

These doctors and the staff care about every single one of the patients and when the office staff is able to recognize you and greet you by name when you walk in the door, it shows.  I also attended a health talk that Dr. Lombardozzi did one evening at the office.  I learned a lot, most of which I kind of already knew, but I appreciate that the Doctors take the time to try and educate the patients and arm them with information to better their own lives.

Long story short, I'm a very happy patient and look forward to my adjustments with Dr. Vuiller.

I only choose female therapists. That's just me. Every one of the women I have chosen have done a wonderful job. They ask questions, adjust their technique to suit the situation. Sometimes I ant/need a and quot;deepand quot; massage, other times I'm too tender to stand more than a medium touch. They get it. I always leave feeling wonderful. The only down side is I have to drive myself home. They need a chauffeur service. =)
At $40/hr, it's a wonderful bargain. I am in the dental field and by the end of my day, I feel like a pretzel. Sometimes I go once a week for a while; then I may go months without. The loges I've stayed away is almost a year. And that was dumb, because it is a wonderful and health-improving bargain.

Bowen is an excellent, he listens to me and is able to work on my sore area to the point that I feel so much better. I have even found that by going every week for an hour and a half massage and watching what I eat, I have lost 15 lbs in 3 months. I find the staff and graduate students very friendly and very knowledgeable. I will continue to keep going for my weekly massage.
