AAmerican Patriots FlooringThis company was recommended by a neighbor. Mr. Garret gave us an estimate for carpeting for 3 rooms plus hallway. That was by far cheaper than any other estimate. It included removing & hauling away the old carpet, moving furniture. providing carpet and padding and of course the installation. Mr. Garret and his crew arrived on time and did a fantastic job. We were so impressed that he was back 2 weeks later to install a new kitchen floor. I had all this work done for less than my lowest estimate for just carpeting. AS&S Carpet and Upholstery LLCI was a long time customer with S&S Carpet. We're a newly retired military family and while living in 2 different rental homes during our time in Chesapeake, VA we used a couple different carpet cleaners before finding S&S. I can tell you without hesitation that Sirlance & Shermelle (S&S Carpet Owners) are the hardest working and most dependable people, not to mention the amazing results you will see in their work. In our first house, we had a couple old/unknown stubborn carpet stains that wouldn't budge with 2 other carpet cleaners. I had S&S come out and he tried one method, but it didn't come completely clean. As promised, he came back out at no extra charge and after the 2 method he tried - perfect results. We used S&S for carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, as well as the fabric seats and carpet in our daughters car. Always thorough and great results. When we moved to our second rental house to get us through our last year as an active duty family, it was in much need of carpet cleaning. Again, S&S came through. Despite it taking 2 times to get it to my desired level of clean (not due to S&S - it was really old, neglected carpet) Sirlance succeeded. I always referred to him as the carpet "Magic Man" and considering some of the unknown stains he ran across sometimes, he always went above and beyond to get great results. I'm telling you, if Sirlance can't get it out of your carpet - no one can. He is not only professional, but incredibly reasonable in price. I enjoy supporting small, family businesses in each place we live and S&S is one of the best. I hope this review lets those in Chesapeake, Virginia Beach and surrounding areas know who they can call when they need any of the services S&S offers. Thank you, Sirlance and Shermelle. AI can't say enough good things about Ross and Victor with C3. They are honest, professional people that did the install quickly at a fair price. They even repaired where a previous contractor tried to install the flooring. They finished the job in 3 days (over 180 sq ft), cleaned up after themselves and did a fantastic job. AWorking with Javier helps to understand how the insurance coverage works. This was not something I could have done on my own. Javier acted almost like an insurance attorney providing invaluable advice. So, the moral of the story is that you need Javier to guide you through your coverage. However, this does not mean that you leave everything to Javier and sit in the corner. You have to understand what is covered and what is not and be ready to supplement your extras out of your pocket to realize your own expectations. The paintwork is a good example; the insurance won't pay the Benjamin Moore paint, and what they pay for doesn’t do much beauty. Then you have to follow up and make sure you pay the extra for what you really want. This works with everything; if you work with Javier on your budget, you will need to take his lead with the third-party contractors. The other deceptive element of insurance is the timing; if you depend on the money coming from the insurance, the process takes forever. The insurance reinstallation is a business model, a system, and there is no logic to it. When supplemental requests are involved, the insurance pays $1000 to accommodation instead of instantly approving a $500 supplemental. The process is very frustrating, and people get frustrated; however, Javier NEVER says NO. Whatever you want, he finds a way to deliver. He did the re-paint job for free with the paint of my choice. I was unhappy with some installations. He immediately got them fixed. One other thing is that Javier never bothered me with payment timing. He was pretty flexible. He did not even call for follow-up. I read the negative reviews on the website, and I realized I had most of them myself, BUT the point is Javier is not the reason. Construction work is an expensive open-ended process; the products we usually get are not top-notch Armani Case; they are what insurance covers and the process is frustratingly time-consuming unless you pay up-front and ready to pay for extras. So the frustration-cause is not Javier; it is the difference between what it is and what we want to be. Javier worked on my place for several months; his team is reliable, honest, and trustable.

AThree bedrooms and stairs worth of carpet cleaned. Company arrived a little early which was ok with me. Guys were presentable and professional. Lead guy took time to explain how the process worked. They were in and out in about 35 minutes which I actually thought was a little TOO fast, but the results were good so whatever. Only complaint would be that their cleaning seemed to leave a bit of a residue that I could feel on my feet for about a week, but it dissipated eventually.
