Went well I had narrowed down the repair from either a door switch or the control board that had failed. I called letzs and they came out and tested to isolate it to the control panel that had shorted out. Very common repair with this type of appliance where the electronics are close to water vapor or steam can escape to. The part took a little time to arrive so the washer was down for about 10 da...

It wouldn’t do it when the serviceman was there and he didn’t open it up to see if something had cone loose, just said I had ninety days to call back if it did it again. It is still scraping against something after it runs for awhile. Guess I will have to will have to wait for it to quit completely before they will open and check inside the dryer.

I have had no problem with Sears. It depends where they need them at. If it is a local service such as in the city, they would do very well. If it is a little service, you cannot necessarily count on them being on time and it is more difficult to get them to your location. However, you may not have any other choice.
