    A+ Charlie's Appliances
The local appliance store we normally use could not come for 2 weeks and suggested A+ Charlie's. We scheduled an appointment for the next day. Charlie called about 6 o'clock that evening and ask to stop by and take a look at the refrigerator. By 7:30 that evening our refrigerator was back in service. The service could not have been better or more professional. I will be using A+ Charlies for any future appliance repair. The bill was half of what I expected.

We were shown options of different brands, no high pressure, we made our decision, delivered on schedule, installed.  We have purchased all our various pieces of kitchen and laundry equipment from them for the past eleven years. When and if we need any other pieces of similar equipment, we will go to them.

.I used them 2 weeks ago. They got a new motherboard for our dryer. They are very good. He fixed our washer. They have a flat fee for all their work. He let us save money as he showed us how to fix the washer if it happened again. I was impressed. They give military discount too.

Although I had to wai for 4 days for service, it was well worth the wait. Charlie showed up at the exact time his staff said he woul be here. He took a part he washer and found that it was a rubber hose that was leaking. He said he would be back as soon as the part came in. I called his office staff n she said that she was ordering the part and it would be in the next day (Friday). She said Charlie had a full schedule the next day, but would try to fit my repair in. If he couldn't, he would be over on Saturday. Wow! I was impressed he would come over on Saturday. Great company to work with!

A few months ago, the blower in my refrigerator quit working. I looked on Angie's List for a reputable service to repair it. They came out and we plugged it in and...the refrigeration worked. He said he thought it was one of two things. He left without charging me since it was working. Well, a few months later, it started blowing hot air into the refrigerator compartment. I called B and B back. The service man was early (wow), was in and out in a half hour and the repair was very inexpensive. I am very pleased.

    Artech Services
It is a Saturday morning and I have a walk in cooler that decided to give it up in the night. Well being a Saturday, my normal refrigeration specialist left town and did not check his voice messages till Monday. My girlfriend was in Laramie and was joining me later in the day at my business that is located some hundred miles from Laramie. She decided to make some calls and see if she could get me parts in Laramie before she left that day. She called Artech Services and spoke with Loretta. Loretta called me on my cell as I was having trouble getting through to them and I explained that I needed two parts for my walk in cooler and she said that she thought she could help. I proceeded to give her part numbers off one of the parts and when I gave her the part number off the other one she stopped me and said that she thought I needed to talk to the technician. I asked her to have him call me. His name was Steve and he finally did call me and he asked what was going on. I told him that I believed that my conductor and starter had gone out of my refrigeration unit in my walk in. At first he was very helpful and told me to go check some things but that he was prepared to send the parts with my girlfriend at a time they already had prearranged. I told him that I did not leave the part numbers with Loretta and I wanted to verify that we had the right part numbers. He told me that he knew what I needed and that he would send the parts. I did not feel comfortable with this but decided to trust his judgement. I did the checks that he told me that I should do and tried to call him back to tell him the results on his cell phone. No answer. I called the girl friend and asked her to bring up the parts as I have no other options to try. She met with Steve and picked up the parts and he charged her about $107 for them.
She brought the parts up and they were the wrong parts. I never even tried installing them as they were the wrong size and shape for the retainer hardware that was on the unit. We decided to return them on Monday in original packaging.
Monday comes and we were informed that there is no returns on electrical parts. Loretta advised that they wont take them back. We explained that they were the wrong parts that they had sent and that we couldn't use them. Again no returns!
I called to talk to Loretta directly and she said that it was out of her hands and that she would have Steve call me. Well Steve never did. He did however call the girlfriend ( I guess he is more comfortable confronting a woman than he is another man) and proceeded to tell her that he WILL NOT take the parts back and that we are just trying to nickel and dime by doing our own work and by doing this, we are just trying to put people in his line of work out of business. The girlfriend explained to him that it was not the intent at all to do that, that there is nothing wrong with us doing our own work as a lot of people are having to do that to save money. He held firm and wouldn't even exchange the parts for the correct ones. I would not recommend ANY dealings with this business.

Service went very well. Initial visit was very prompt and punctual. Unfortunately, they did not have the panel we needed in stock so we needed to schedule a second visit once the part came in. Probably could have ordered the part and done it myself, but this was definitely fast and efficient.

It is one of my favorite places. I use them regularly. They are very professional and very punctual. They are a bit pricey too. The service call is probably around $50. The price varies depending on what I purchase. It can go up to $500.
