    Morse, Dr. Kenneth K.
My overall experience was a very good one to at least. Dr. Morse and the other staff were friendly to you every step of the way and made sure that you understood exactly what was going on. I would verh highly recommend giving Dr. Morse a visit if you are in the process of looking for a new optomitrist.

    Zeitner, Dr. Deon K.
Dr. Z is very thorough in his examination. He has always nailed my prescription, something other doctors could never seem to get right. Friendly, efficient staff and always willing to go the extra mile for the patient. Highly recommended.

    Harris, Dr. Mike
I called this morning to get an appointment and they had openings this afternoon because Dr. Harris had been going to take today off and then changed his mind. I don't know that getting an appointment would always be that easy, but I was lucky! When i arrived, they got me checked right in and took me right back to start the exam. They have all the latest equipment technology. Some of the medications I am on can have adverse affects on vision and it is important to me to make sure I can get as much warning and advance notice that something is not right as possible. Dr. Harris is friendly and explains everything and answers any questions that you might have. He went over the digital images with me and explained what he is looking for and what we were looking at and why it looked good. He also compared images from the last time I was there to show what had changed. There was a little bit of confusion on what I needed glasses for when I went to check out and look at frames. I decided that I did not want to get frames today and just do it another day. I was satisfied with the overall appointment as I was more concerned with my vision changing and eye health than getting frames and lenses.

    Shiley Eye Center
The office staff was efficient when I arrived. It was obvious they were very busy but they were professional, though not friendly. The clinic is affiliated with the University of Southern California so I knew I might see an attending physician and/or other doctors-in-training before I saw the doctor with whom I had the appointment. I've been seen as a patient in similar facilities and although it can take a little longer than other non-training offices, I've never had a complaint to register. The attending did a very thorough examination and was helpful, friendly and professional. She had some concerns about my eyes but assured me that the flashing lights were not a retinal tear but rather a less serious condition which comes with advancing age. She wanted me to visit the glaucoma clinic soon for some possible and quot;picturesand quot; of the optic nerve since she noticed it looked a little suspicious. She went out of the examination room and about 30 minutes later the ophthalmologist came to see me. He sat down with his back to me and read her notes. As he read, still with his back to me, he told me that she is prone to over reaction since she is such a new doctor. He sort of laughed about it and shook his head, not explaining to me what he meant about over reaction. He said that there was really no hurry to see the glaucoma clinic. He said I could wait for three months, made a note on the chart, and told me to make an appointment before I left. Then he left. I thought he was coming back, but he did not. He was very unhelpful, did not explain anything to me and did not ask me if I understood or had any questions. I left after making an appointment with the glaucoma clinic. Later I visited another doctor for a second opinion and ended up canceling my appointment at the glaucoma clinic. I won't return to Shiley Eye Clinic.

    Jenson, Dr. Peter
Greeted promptly upon entering, no excessive wait to see the Dr. All billing forms and information pertaining to it was handled by receptionist. Thourough eye exam by Dr. and results explained fully. Assistant did a very thorough job of explaining lens options and frames to me, that met my lifestlyle. All in all, very satisfied, definitely would recommend to anyone searching for a competent optometrist and cabable staff.

    Zeitner, Dr. Deon K.
When I took both my daughters in for an eye exam Dr. Zeitner was very through. Neither of my girls were nervous and they both found out they needed reading glasses. When I went in for myself, I was very pleased with my visit. He subscribed glasses for my astigmatism. In about a week I went back in to get my glasses, the company who had made them made a mistake and Dr. Zeitner sent them back to be finished properly. Did not cost me anything extra and my glasses have full warranty on them.

I like his gentleness and his sense of humor and his way of making you comfortable. He explains everything very well to you....whatever he does he tells you what it is and why he's doing it. He's very thorough. I would most definitely recommend him.
