    Dave did better quality work than I could ever hope to do myself. He is so thorough and so careful that I was totally comfortable leaving him to do his work with us only checking in every other day or so. He fixed many places where the wall texture was damaged and made all the walls look even and new. He painted all of our white trim and caulked along the seams. He painted multiple colors, including a deep blue which looks flawless. My husband and I are so impressed with the quality of his work that we will probably hire him again to paint our basement. Would recommend him to anyone.

    bThis guy really surprised me! He was there on time for estimates, and was very thoughtful and professional throughout the entire job. He had a big job having to scrape the old blistered pain off the house, and also painted 2 outbuildings. This home is over 75 years old and even though it is in good repair, there had been a fire next door on the side that the blistered paint was. He did an amazing job considering the scope of it. I will definitely recommend this company again, and plan to use him for the interior through the winter months.

    I contacted David Zillner to paint our 2 story entryway in our home after finding his name here on Angie's List. I had another painter give me an estimate for $ way ha. Dave estimated $400 and that included painting the trim on the window that is 2 stories up. No way did I want to tackle the project myself, so we hired him. We thought we were going to have to find a different painter after he called to say he would not be able to do our project when we had discussed due to a larger job he had elsewhere. However, our timeline ended up getting pushed back and I called him back to reschedule a couple weeks later. I am very glad I did. Not only did Dave do an awesome job painting and cutting in the ceiling and trim, but he threw in a few extra things for us on top of that. We had broken our ceiling fan which was right in the middle of the entryway (where of course no one could reach). Dave helped us get the broken fan blade down, determine a course of action, and then replaced all four blades the next day. He also replaced our burned out light bulb as well as cleaned the glass on the second story window. He was a life saver with his big ladder and great attitude. He was also very neat and cleaned up everything before he left. We would definitely use him again!

    I found this contractor on Angie's list! Decided to call them because they had a couple of great reviews. After contacting the owner, he came by my house for a quick look and said he would write up an estimate. He was very nice and seemed to be a professional. I showed him what I was thinking about having done and some colors I was considering. He said they would get to the job as soon as he could because he would be busy with outside work because weather was getting better. I had very little contact with him and no written estimate or contract was provided. During the course of the weekend before painting started I decided on different colors than the ones I told him I was thinking about.

    Upon completion of painting the owner called and asked for payment. I wanted to do a walk through with him to make sure all was well. I asked if we could schedule a walk through the following Monday because I was leaving town for the weekend. At his request we met on Friday morning for a quick walk through. I told him I needed more time to look at everything more carefully and he said if there was anything that needed fixed he would take care of it. I paid him in full with the expectation that he would indeed come back if I found anything that needed taken care of. When I returned home after the weekend and had time for a closer inspection this is what I found: Red and Gold paint on my white carpet in several places, nail holes were not filled in as I had requested, corners where different colors butted up had colors bleeding to either side, and linoleum in kitchen scarred and slightly torn where fridge had been moved out to paint.

    I called and told the owner what I found and the problems needed to be fixed and scheduled a time for him to come by the house. (Before he came over, I took many pictures of everything that will be in this review.0 He came over with his helper. He had an excuse for everything! He had a bottle of 409 that he sprayed on the carpet in an attempt to get the paint out of the carpet. He said it wasn't his fault the paint got on the carpet, he didn't have anything to tape plastic to because baseboards were gone because they were being replaced. The corners were not his fault because the walls were textured, the uneven seams along the countertop in the kitchen were not his fault because the seams had to be painted (yes but not sloppily!), the linoleum was not his fault because they didn't have to move the fridge out to paint and the same thing would have happened if I had moved the fridge out. When he asked what I wanted him to do I told him I wanted the linoleum replaced (very small "L" shaped kitchen and the tear/marks are in the middle of the floor and very noticeable. He said he would not replace anything because it wasn't his fault that I would have to take him to court. My comment to him was "I will!" I also told him I would post on Angie's List exactly what happened because this is where I found his name. Then he said. "Oh, I see how you are." He was trying to fill in nail holes with more paint during the conversation and it was getting heated. I told him I didn't want him to do anything else and wanted him to leave. (Actually had someone there to clean the carpet during the entire conversation who confirmed the paint would not come out of the carpet) I finally had to sternly tell him to leave my house!

    About 30 minutes after he left, I received a phone call from him. He told me, although he had done nothing wrong, he would give me a check for $250.00 because that is how much it would cost to replace the linoleum and if we could let bygones be bygones. Told him I was back at work and would have to get back to him! Seriously, I was fuming! Never called him back and never will!!

    So, he received a check from me for $3,300.00 (payment in full) and I had to pay someone else to clean up his mess, will have to replace the linoleum and eventually the carpet (and yes I still have paint on my white carpet). No, I am not taking him to court, although I should! Time to move on and hope no one else ends up with a mess!

    Randy and Rick are very professional painters. They did a beautiful job on this rental. They are also very honest and polite. They did the job just as they promised, got on the job at the time they promised, kept right on it until it was finished, in a very timely manner. I was so pleased with their work, that I gave them another job immediately. I Plan To Use Them In The Future For Any Painting That I Need At My Rentals. I Have Six Rentals In Casper, Wy. Service was performed at 1122 S Cedar and 1524 S Lennox Casper, WY.

    They are very quick and careful.  They do the job without a problem.  If you ask a question they answered, but continued to work.  They are very efficient.  Overall they just do a very good job.  They didn't leave any sort of mess.  They told me how to take care of the extra paint once they were done with the project. They told me what to do during the summer and winter months to keep the paint usable/fresh.

    We had called them for an estimate, and upon meeting him and the work he has done in the neighborhood we decided they were the right fit. Mitch come out on the weekend when it was convenient for us and helped pick a paint scheme. It took a little time for him to get started due to the lousy weather we had but was quick at getting started when the weather permitted. They took a total of 3 days and were very professional in both their appearance and in the work performed. He had talked us into adding shutters and picked them up for us. They really made it come together. The house turned out better then expected and we really love the paint scheme we chose with Mitch's help. I have yet to stain the fence but we are completely satisfied with the Job! A+++++++++
