I was extremely impressed with their professionalism and dedication to getting it right. When there was a problem with the product Chad Hutton came back for two extra days until it was right. When I offered him a tip for the extra time and care he took, he absolutely refused to take it.

It went well. The time he said he was going to be here, he was on time. The ending results were great. I would recommend him to anyone that needed pressure washing done.

The project went very smoothly and came in on budget. All aspects of the job—the cleaning and spray washing, the staining and resealing, the caulking, and the cleanup were all done with incredible attention to detail and with obvious knowledge and skill. The team was on-sight for several days. They went to obvious efforts to make their presence as non-intrusive and pleasant as possible, considering the scope and size of the work. And, when the work was completed, the cleanup was very professionally done, leaving the house as neat as they found it. Highly Recommended!

Wonderful! He arrived in a timely way, took off shoes, was very polite. He cleaned up after himself. Last time he fixed my garage door for free when he was working on my gutters. This time he fixed a loose doorknob for free without my asking. This is like having a husband who NEVER complains about the honey do list!

It went very well. On Sunday they pressure washed the entire house. On Tuesday they spray painted the house. It took them about seven hours to paint. It looked very nice. They did a neat clean job. They charged $2100. The other estimate I'd gotten for pressure washing & spray painting was $4200.

The guys were here three days.  Chris Means and his men were all extremely polite and friendly.  The guys showed up on time every day and let us know when they were leaving in the evening.  They let us know when they would return and did so on time.  They took their shoes off inside the house.  They appeared to be treating the work as if they were doing it on their own homes.  The repointing of bricks on the side of the house was tricky; it had been done about 26 years ago but always looked bad, and in recent years it became clear it needed to be redone.  They not only did it well, they fixed it so you can hardly tell it ever had a problem. Everything is wonderful.  Because a tree was dropping small flower petals all over the deck, they set up tarps to cover the deck overhead, to prevent the droppings from landing on the deck while they waterproofed it.  Every bit of work is perfect...and my father was a general contractor, so I have an eye for this stuff. BEST OF ALL:  Chris Means told us what the charge would be and we signed the contract.  But while the work was being done some little things showed up that needed to be done, and he did those things AT NO EXTRA CHARGE!  That must be why the business is called By All Means AND MORE.  Because we got MORE than we bargained for.  I am so happy to have found a contractor I can count on.  Chris looks very young, but he clearly knows what he is doing.  I found out that By All Means and More does a huge variety of services and will call Chris first from now on.  I would be happy to give By All Means and More a reference by mail or on the phone any time.

    1 Call Does It All
I found the "1 Call Does It All" business card hanging up at the local grocery store. I wrote the number down and called it. I left a message and he got back to me within a hour. He was able to fit me in the very next day since I had a leak that may have been causing damage. Very pleasent experience and will trust him with work at my house again.

She was satisfied. As far as the quality of his work, it was not good at all. He did three different things for me. He did pressure washing, staining and then he started to prep a big concrete outdoor porch for painting, but I fired him before he did it. I think he came out when he said he would, most of the time. He was a ridiculously long talker, he was talking, talking and talking. When you talk to him about pricing or what he was going to do and this and that, when he was finished, you don't know exactly what he said. I don't know if that is something he did on purpose or if he was really a pathological talker. He would come up with different stories from time to time. When he first started this job, he took some money down and then he said, "You don't have to pay me anything else until we finish the job to your satisfaction." That sounded real good. After a couple or three days, it was Friday and I think he talked my wife into giving him more money so he could pay his workers off for what they had done that week. If somebody told me something like that I wouldn't do it because I found, with a lot of these guys, if you pay them too much they're allowed to do a really unsatisfactory job, whereas if you just pay them partial and they knew that they didn't deserve to get the full payment, they don't get it and if they really were adamant that they did a good job, they would take you to small claims court because that's a very easy thing to do. I gave him money to buy some stain or paint and he never bought it.

The pressure washing was ok, but the work on the concrete porch was not. Some of what the guy said he was going to do was verbal and some was written. I gave him money up front for his workers and the materials but I though it was already included.
