Pet Suites Pet Resort & Spa
Wonderful. We always worry about leaving our dogs if we have to go someplace. Pet Suites was perfect. The staff was very friendly toward our dogs and our children as well. When we picked up our dogs after our long weekend, they seemed healthy and happy to see us. They did not have any unusual smells or signs of neglect. Their coats were clean and their mouths showed no signs of drooling from stress (as we've unfortunately seen with another kennel). This is by far the best place our dogs have stayed away from home. We will use them again.

    TOWN & COUNTRY ANIMAL HOSPITAL
My dog was about 8 months old and tried to eat anything he came in contact with. He stopped eating and drinking so I knew something was wrong.  This was on a Sunday.  Monday morning I took him to my vet on Monday and told him I was pretty sure he had eaten something.  Five hours later he called and said that her intestines were blocked but he couldn't do the surgery.  Took her straight to Town and Country Animal hospital.  By the time we got there she was almost dead.  she was completely dehydrated and in shock.  They took her straight to surgery.  She had swallowed a sock which had blocked her intestines.  She was in surgery for three hours. They didn't think she would live but she did.  She was in the hospital for a week, it was like an intensive care room, with an IV and oxygen. After she was feeling a little better I could take her outside on a leash. They sent her home with medicine and special food for to eat for awhile.  Everyone there was wonderful.  I cannot say enough good things about the place.  They also do all the routine things dogs need.   They also do stem cell surgery on dogs with hip and knee problems, which I am going to have done for my German shepherd when I have the money.  It is a fair drive for me to go there but I will never take my animals anywhere else. It would have cost me twice what they charged me anywhere else.

Everything went great! Provider texted with updates while I was on vacation and left a detailed write up after her last visit.

    BEST FRIENDS BRIARWOOD/BRIARWOOD PET MOTEL
Not so well. The staff was very friendly both when we dropped off and picked up our dogs. Unfortunately, they had been under some type of stress during their stay as their fur was soaked around their mouths from drooling (which is a different type of wetness than just wet from drinking water) and they had diarrhea on their backsides which continued for an additional 2 days at home. They smelled awful and we had to give them baths immediately upon bringing them home. In all fairness to the facility, it was the 4th of July weekend, which may have contributed to their stress. Also, their unfamiliarity with the breed may have contributed to the hygiene issue, but to not see or smell the feces (both on the dogs and the pillows we had brought for them) is difficult to believe. Especially when the "report card" we received upon pick up stated "no problems" in the elimination section. I'm sure the staff does their best, but we will be boarding our dogs elsewhere in the future.

    Poochie Parlor
When dropping off pets for boarding, the owner was mowing her yard during business hours. When picking up pets the owner was also doing more yard work. After arriving at home, both pets was sick for several days. Business owner never stated if the pets ate or got into anything that could make them sick.
