My youngest son (18 months) has been attending Pleasant Day full time since October. He is allergic to Milk, Egg and Carrot. We love everything about this school. His teachers are really amazing and love my little guy just like I would. The front office staff and owners are also amazing and really help start and end my day on good notes. Their love for the students doesn't stop there. When I enrolled my son, I was personally told that they would accommodate my son's allergies and focus on inclusion. They went above and beyond to do that! My son eats a safe alternative that is as close to what the other kids get as they can. It is incredible and still makes me tear up thinking about how much they care about my son and jumped at the opportunity before they really even knew our family. My son gets to eat Dairy Free Pizza on Pizza day and Dairy Free yogurt at snack time so that he gets to eat the same foods as his friends. Among other alternatives that are as close to what the other kids get as they can. They really do go above and beyond everything I could have asked for. If I could give more stars to my review I would. Our family will be part of the Pleasant Day family for years to come.

    The WVU Nursery School
My experience using them has been fantastic.  They are great educationist and are very helpful.  The things that they do really well are their feedback and communication.

They are wonderful, work well with you and your child have your child's best interest at heart are a great group of caring individuals.  It was a frist time in a long time that I felt at ease leaving my son with someone other than a family member as they treat each child like it was their own.

Most of staff is excellent and attentive to the kids needs, excluding the owner Roxanna's brother, John, who if you don't catch him napping in the office or purposely ignoring you while he is conducting personal business on the phone, is completely rude and inattentive to parents and their concerns. He is a big man and scary looking to children. My daughter was terrified of him. At one time I witnessed him take a girl to the potty, now given that the other employees are female, this seemed inappropriate to me. Maybe it's just me, but that would have better not been my daughter. Employees were rotated to often, and lack communication among each other. They have a problem keeping employees, This is no way to establish stability in a kids routine. When talking to some of the employees, Pay seemed to be a big issue. The manager, Angelia, is always apologetic, and wants to solve your problems and concerns, but you can tell her hands are tied. There is a lack of maintaining a safe and kid friendly environment. Upon first entering the day care, which is up a steep narrow flight of stairs to the second floor. You notice as you try to hold on to the handrail. It is pulled loose at the top. Had been that way the entire two years of my daughters attendance there. The place is always dirty most likely because staff is sent home to cut operational costs. In the winter the parking lot never gets cleared. The owner, Roxanna, claims to be struggling to keep the facility running, but has no problem sporting a new Mercedes. The second one that I know of in two years time. She was hardly ever there. They ran understaffed on a regular basis. On several occasions they would not be open when it snowed. Most of the time I would have to show up to find out, having to call in to work for a day off, last minute. They will not prorate services for such occasions. As I would hire almost all if the girls there for private child care. I highly recommend doing some research and compare with other day care centers before making such an important decision to go with Toys for Tots.

Regardless, it's a horrible place.   Our child was terrified of it, and it worked out for the best after we took him to somewhere who actually didn't neglect children and had morals. The establishment still scours the internet for bad reviews and has them removed.
