    The Eye Center
    From the minute I walked in the door I was greeted by the most professional and friendly staff I have encountered in quite a while.  We recently moved to Fayetteville, TN and we don't know anyone.  My only resource is Angie's List for finding doctors, etc.  The Eye Center of Huntsville, AL came highly recommended.  I can see why and am very pleased with the staff and the treatment I received.  Dr. Derivaux was very professional and took time examining me and explaining what was going on with my eyes in terms I could understand.  Even though I may need surgery in the future he advised me to wait and see if my vision declines.  I have a follow-up appointment in 6 months.  I am very impressed with the Eye Center and would recommend Dr. Derivaux.

    They were able to get me an appointment around my work schedule with relatively short notice as I get my schedule the Friday before the next week. I arrived a little early and the were helpful in looking up my insurance info as I had forgotten my card. I got in to see the Dr. right away and the exam was completed without delay. They then explained my options as far as correcting my vision and I ordered my contacts. They were delivered within the week.

    Everything was fantastic! I've gone to them for a little over three years, and everyone is very patient and professional. I love that they let you schedule appointments online and communicate through e-mail because it's very convenient for me. I also like that they offer a retinal scan (for a nominal fee) in lieu of pupil dilation. It makes it much easier to drive myself to and from the appointment. They have a great selection of frames and have been very good about steering me towards flattering styles. They also offer the very thin plastic lenses which is great because I have a strong prescription. They accept my insurance (VSP), but I found their rates to be reasonable regardless.

    My experience with them has been very good. Their availability is fine and the office environment is very good. They staff is very friendly. They are very efficient and it is a quick turnaround time from you get your eyes examined to the time you get your glasses. They took care of a minor problem that we had with all due diligence and speed.

    It was a good experience. He does rush a little bit when he is talking to you but I think it is just so he can get to the core of the problem. I had trouble following him at times but I think he did a good job.

    He has always been a nice man. I have never had any complaints about anything that I have to get from him. He has always been very courteous, nice and down to earth. He has taken care of my family for a good while now. He is always available. His office environment is very nice. His communication skills are very good. He has to give me a diabetic eye examination and is very good at relaying what is going on. The billing and administration department is always up to date with what the insurances to carry; they know so I just ask them.
