    Gary Patterson DMD
Once we knew what was wrong, he gave me a few options for treatment.  In any case, no matter what I decided, he wanted me to start a regimen of antibiotics before additional treatment commenced.  He called in a prescription and made an appointment for two days later at which time we would either go for extensive repairs or extract the tooth.  Later that night the pain from the abscess lessened and by the time of my appointment, the swelling was gone.  I chose to have the tooth removed and replaced with an implant.  I have to tell you, I am the ultimate frightened dental patient and expected to be in a lot of post procedural pain.  Not only was the initial extraction painless but I had no post procedure pain at all.  Even the implant process went without a hitch and I'm more than happy with the result and the treatment received by Dr. Patterson and his staff.  I want to add that the office is set up in part to reflect the dentist's personality and show his love of family, friends and dogs.  He seems to be one of the kindest and most caring dentists I've come across to date.  I've had two additional appointments for cleaning and for a filling since that initial emergency and each time I left the office wishing that all dental specialists were like Dr. Patterson.  His specialty is maxillofacial surgery.  My sister, who lives in Florida, has a number of long time issues as a result of what we were told were untreatable mandibular and maxillofacial tori.  Most dentists, dental specialists and surgeons won't touch tori since the healing process is either slow or non-existent.  I questioned Dr. Patterson about my sister's multiple tori and he not only was familiar with the disorder but had patients in the past and present with that same problem.  My sister, when she comes up to visit, will be seeing Dr. Patterson, too.  He seems like a godsend.  I'm grateful to my friends up here in the Ohio Valley, for recommending I call Dr. Patterson.  He really is the best I've been to - ever.

I have had excellent service from Dr. Conklin. He did a root canal for me in less than an hour and it gelled up very well. I have had those things done for four hours but this one is really good and I have no problems with him at all. I would recommend him to anyone. Personality wise he is real personable and sociable. The time I needed the root canal I called him and he gave me an appointment within a week which is pretty fast. The staffs are really good.

    James Lockhart DDS
My son was about 10 yrs old when his front teeth were broken off.  Dr. Lockhart came to the office to fix my son's broken teeth on a Sunday. He brought his wife to help him. They were fantastic. He said the filling would only hold a few lasted a years before he needed a new one...and once again got my son right into the office and fixed it. He was in college by the time it fell out the first time. The first time I went with my son, the second time he was old enough to go by himself. I highly recommend Dr. Lockhart.

She used high quality materials at a fair price.  I had some sensitivity and she worked carefully until the crown was completely comfortable.  She was very patient while working to perfect the fit and stability.

    Myer II, Dr. William A.
My wisdom teeth had been giving me some trouble for about a year. My sister recently had hers removed by Dr. William Myers, so I went there for a consultation. This was my first encounter with this doctor, as he is not my primary dentist. His waiting room isn't the most exciting place in the world and it's rather small, but the actual area he works in is clean and sufficient. I went for a consultation, where Dr. Myers checked my teeth, asked me about dental problems, and left me to watch a video about the risks and rewards of removal. He came back and asked me if I had any questions and we talked about possible avenues for removal. I'm not the bravest person in the world, so I opted for removal under general anesthesia. This would be performed at Davis Memorial Hospital under the supervision of an anesthesiologist. After the insurance cleared everything, we started making appointments. I had to go to the hospital for a pre-admission consultation, which was basically me talking to a woman about my health (Do you smoke? Is there a history of heart problems in your family? Etc.) She checked my oxygen, weight, and blood pressure. I also had to give a urine sample to ensure that I wasn't pregnant. After one more visit to Dr. Myer's office, I was ready for the actual removal. I went to the hospital very early, talked to a lot of nurses, told the anesthesiologist about my health, and then sat in the bed and waited. Luckily, the person with the earliest appointment canceled, so I didn't have to wait long. I don't actually recall seeing Dr. Myers on this day, but it's possible that I talked to him. (I remember very little from the point where they wheeled me down the hall to waking up in the recovery room.) I left feeling surprisingly good. After a few days, I went back for a checkup and Dr. Myers cleaned out the spaces left from the removal and gave me a syringe with a long, curved edge. This was to be used to spray food out of the cavities and keep them clean. My stitches dissolved on their own and didn't have to be removed. Overall, I would say I had a good experience with Dr. Myers. He was polite and professional throughout the service period. He answered any questions I had and he wasn't hard to contact during the day.

I was amazed at the way I was taken care of when I stepped into the office from the time I stepped in the door until I left. They even called and checked on me and made sure that everything was ok. I was not just given a paper at the office telling me what to do. They went over everything with me and made me feel like a person should when going to get any type of service done. I was even given the Dr.s home phone if anything went wrong after the service was performed. It is just nice to know that there is still good Dr.s out there. I would return to this office anytime that I need too. They have helped me with my fear of dentists.

Dr . Myers, carefully explained what he would do to put a  foundation in my mouth for a tooth to be made and inserted by  my dentist. I am ready to go  back to my dentist for the next step, and after another month or so, the whole seven month process will be completed.  Dr. Meyers part if the first step, and he has been easy to work with.

    Wallace, Dr. David A
At first everything was fine when I entered his office. Not such friendly service but whatever. First problem was I had an appointment at 1030am I was the only one in the waiting room, and about an hour later a couple joined me in the waiting room he had told the desk clerk that he had an appointment for 1230pm. When the couple had sat down I had asked the clerk if there was anyway to get water Im 4 months pregnant and morning sickness was setting in. She told me that there was nothing she could do and to sit down. Anyways back to the first problem as Im sitting in the waiting room waiting for my name to be called I noticed an assistance come threw the door with a folder I started to grab my purse when she called out the man who had an appointment at 1230pm first. I was ticked so I went outside for a smoke. (yes i know smoking is bad especially when your pregnant dont judge me) When I came back inside I waited about 30 more minutes and finally was called back for xrays as I placed my head where it needed to be the assitance slammed the side of the machine on my face and personally I think she should have warned me. It was very tramatic for me for personal reasons and I began crying a little. Afterwards I went into the exam room where the doctor (Dr. Wallace) joined me. He sat down and began reviewing my chart. He looks at me and asks me do I smoke I answered honestly and said yes, he asked and your pregnant?! I of course said yes. Without skipping a beat he begans to jump down my throat saying and I quote "You are the worse mother Ive ever met, that baby is better off dead then to have a mother like you" I did not know what to say all I knew to do was cry. Then he told me that the tooth needing to be pulled could not be pulled without possibly breaking the two teeth around it I asked him would he be able to fix them if he broke them, he said "you smoke whats the point in fixing your teeth in the first place." I got out of the chair and started to walk out when he said "where do you think your going get back in here and sit down" I ignored him and proceeded to walk out the door, next thing I know I was jerked around by my arm him holding it squeezing. He had said in front of patients and staff " You will do as I say" I jerked back my arm and told him he could F*** off! and slammed the door behind me. I will never return to him again. The reason for my visit in the first place was because I have braces on my top teeth and to have them placed on my bottoms I need a certain tooth pulled first. I know have to review other dentist to figure out how I can arrange for this to happen. All I can say is this doctor should have his licence revoked and his business shut down.

Terrible he charged me 27 dollars for the 1 xray and 59 for a office visit. Total was 86 dollars. Was very cold to me and was talking to his wife like a dog before he came into the room where I was waiting.
