Treatment is appropriate for symptoms and he is excellent with education of the parents and the child. We have had no insurance issues, despite switching private insurance companies multiple times. My kids are very happy with him and do not fear him like I used to fear my pediatrician. I am very happy with the speed of service, quality of care, and personal attitudes of staff in all parts of the office.

They were on time and got us into a room. The nurse assessed my daughter and took her vitals. The PA came in and examined her, gave us a choice of treatment options and was finished in less than an hour.

The doctor is professional and friendly. She talks to the kids and not just about them to the parents.

My children have seen Dr Ymalay since birth and are as comfortable as any child can be in a doctor's office setting. He was very gentle with her in checking her over. He is always also very good to tell you things you should be thinking about in that particular season and/or that particular stage of your child's development. His staff is also very good about fitting you in if your child has an illness and you call that day needing to be seen. I would definitely recommend him .

Easy to get in and good care taken of my children. Do call early to get in almost always has open child appt for the unplanned visit. Do bring insurance card and co pay for each visit. Parking in the lot may be hard at times but believe me it is worth it.

    Lambrose, Dr. Pippa
I pleaded for her help again and again. I took my son to her about every 6 weeks, each time asking for her to PLEASE write the referral and she always seemed insulted and responded with something to the effect of 'I see no reason to, I'm capable of treating him without a specialist'. She would snap her fingers in front of his face and when he looked at them, she'd say, "See? His hearing is fine:.  When I kept telling her that he had stopped dancing and singing, she told me he was becomming shy.  When I told her he had stopped responding when I called his name unless he could see my mouth she said that it was just selective hearing and he probably just didn't respect me.  When I came back again and again worried that he wasn't talking at age 2, first she told me that all kids develope at different rates and not to worry, just to be patient.  Then, she said that I wasn't working with him enough-that I was a first time mother and I obviously didn't know what I was doing. The last time I took him to her, she actually had the nerve to say,"You're just going to have to accept the fact that your son is slow". She absolutely REFUSED  to write that referral, so I had to sue my ex-husband for the child sopport he owed and wait to get it before I could afford the $356 for the appointment. It took about six months, but I finally got him to an otolaryngologist.  Within 5 minutes of entering th office, they did a tympanogram and said "Your son is stone deaf, we can do surgery tomorrow". If she had set aside her pride 24 months earlier and just written the referral (that would have taken her two minutes and cost her ABSOLUTELY NOTHING) he would have been able to hear during that critical window of toddler development when children learn to speak just by hearing others without having to 'be taught'. Instead, he had significant developmental delays and still struggles with speech. Her pride cost more than $356-years of ongoing speech therapy. I realize that I should have immediately taken him to another doctor when she first argued with me, but she made me feel that I was the problem, that I was an inadequate mother who had screwed up. Now I know I was right all along, but it came too late and at too high of a price for my son.
