    Handyman Connection of Rockville (MD)
It cost $800 for them to actually do the work minus materials. They were fine. They did everything what we asked them to do. They were on-schedule with everything. Our handyman was nice and friendly. He was very cooperative with our needs. He helped us find a pair of doors that we needed. He called different companies for us to help us locate the pair of doors that we needed. I would recommend them. I do not know about their entire handyman that work for them, but the one we had was very punctual. He was even here earlier than anticipated for the job, and he was done within a day-and-half in installing the doors.

Champion Windows and Home Exteriors of Baltimore
We met the Champion sales representative at the annual home show in the Martinsburg Mall.  He came to give us an estimate and show us our options within a week.  His professionalism and the company's reputation, as well as the cost of the door and installation moved us to do this project - something we've talked about doing for years.  The installers were great.  They did everything they said they would!  They replaced the outside wood cap under the door as well as the inside door moulding.  The took the old door and packaging from the new door with them when they left.  We didn't have to pick up or clean anything.  Great company to work with!

Excellent work! Bob and Addison worked everyday once the job started. Bob is extremely knowledgeable! I'm glad these two men were assigned to my job. Can't really compare price because they were the only company to provide a full quote. I would hire them again and highly recommend them.

Over the course of multiple projects exceptionally well. They schedule a contractor to come to your house to work at an hourly rate. You provide the materials. If you do not want or can not provide the materials they will shop for them (at the hourly rate) and add cost of materials to your bill. Several times I got the handyman to give me a list of what he needed and I shopped for them while he worked on another project or got started. They send out a person that is specialized and experienced in they type of project you have. All companies have some problems but it is how they handle them that makes the difference to the customer. Handyman Matters corrects problems due to their errors at no cost. The concrete step needed to be sealed and refinished several months after it was installed. There was no problem; they came out and redid the finish at their cost. The step is still good after a year. If they are late or can't make it they will reschedule to your convenience.

The side and garage door jambs have been rotting for many years and needed to be replaced. I wanted all new doors pre-painted, the locksets keyed alike and new features on the doors; e.g, peep hole on front door, internal blind on side door, and no window(s) on garage door. The only thing that went wrong was the side door came in with the lockset holes on the wrong side, but it was reordered expeditiously and installed about two-three weeks later on a Saturday. I do not have architectural shingles on my garage and I live in a windy area. Some shingles have been missing about a year. This missing ones were replaced right away. I noticed at least one more was coming loose on a windy day after the roof had been repaired. I asked if they could find the "waving shingle" and glue it down when they returned and go over that area on the roof again for any other loose shingles. They did. The front garage gutter was dripping from a previous repair (from another contractor) and that was replaced. My house gutters always seemed to be dripping heavily when raining even though I have dripless gutters. That was checked and repaired. I had rotting/loose front porch pickets and they were repaired/replaced/painted. All job-related debris was cleaned up and removed from job-site. All employees were courteous and answered/returned phone calls promptly. The guys working at my house mentioned several times how proud they were of the company they work for. I would definitely hire this company again!

Dave, the man who did the work, was very knowledgeable regarding what needed to be done to correct the shower water leak problem. He removed some of the shower wall tiles and found water had damaged a small section of the water resistant drywall to which those ceramic tiles were attached. He replaced that damaged section with cement board and then attached new ceramic tiles. I had decided to also replace the shower door and Dave did that work. Dave also replaced a separate section of regular drywall adjacent to the shower door that was damaged. Dave also quickly replaced a damaged GFCI outlet. Dave has a pleasant personality. He always kept me well informed about what he was doing. He did a good job cleaning the work site after he finished.

Excellent job. Very professional, easy to work with, strong communication skills. The door that Tom created was a perfect solution for our problem. We'd highly recommend him and would use him again without hesitation.

I purchased new lights for the exterior of my home. The front 3 were dusk-to-dawn and motion activated lights. The back light was dusk-to-dawn. He removed the 4 old ugly lights and replaced with the new lights I purchased. He also set up the dusk-to-dawn features and told me how they worked (again, I purchased these, not him, so I appreciate he read up on them). He did an excellent job and cleaned up after himself. The lights work perfectly! My home insurance company inspected my home and felt that the roof shingles were sticking up too much in a few places. The contractor also fixed the shingles so they were no longer sticking up. This work was not guaranteed since it was outside of their normal scope of work but I did not hear back from the insurance company so all is good.

We had several small items that needed repaired including some drywall repair and getting the front door re-hung to center and weatherproof.  But the biggest item was vinyl siding that needed repaired.  Wayne was able to remove siding from the front of the house and patch in to the damaged sections on the rest of the house.  He then installed some faux stone siding on the front that turned out great!  He was very quick to respond and completed the job exactly when he said he could.  Great experience and would definitely recommend him (and I have!)
