  • I will NEVER take my business back to ZZ Auto. I took my 2012 Chevy Cruze in for a coolant leak, was clearly overcharged (the invoice clearly shows that they overcharged me because the individual charges do not add up to the total), and the leak still wasn't fixed. While my car was being serviced, my quoted price mysteriously kept increasing even though no additional work was being done to it, and they said it was because they forgot to include a diagnosis fee. When I went to pick it up, the total changed AGAIN. The owner said that he would do me a favor and knock off the $80 diagnosis fee, and still give me the cash discount, however the invoice shows I didn't get a cash discount at all when you add everything up and was only given a $40 break for the diagnosis fee. Additionally, while my car was being serviced, I received a call from them saying that I was severely overdue on an oil change, spark plugs, spark plug wires, air filter and cabin air filter, tire rotation, and fuel induction. I knew right away that was a LIE because my husband just changed my oil, air filter, and spark plugs only 4 months ago and it hasn't been more than 4,000 miles since my last oil change (I use partial synthetic). They told me the additional stuff that I was severely overdue on was needed to prevent the coolant leak from happening again. Again, LIES. How do spark plugs affect a coolant leak??! The estimate they gave me to have the routine maintenance done was $700. Thank God I declined. But they obviously were dishonest and tried to take advantage of me. Not to mention tried to overcharge. When we took it back to have the leak repaired, the owner was very rude with us and made it seem as if we were lying about the leak and about my husband just replacing the air filter. We told them to show us the air filter (we stood right beside them in the garage as they did it) and they admitted that it was a brand new air filter. The oil was also clean, and the tread on my tires is still great because I still have my winter tires on. They applied a pressurized system to the coolant reservoir to show any leaks, and it clearly leaked because they failed to tighten a clamp on a hose. We asked the technician how long it actually took him to work on my car, and he said about 3 hours, yet we were charged for over 6 hours of labor. And every part they used for the repair was listed at ridiculously high prices. We even researched those parts to see what the going rate was for each. When it was all said and done, the owner was still very rude and refused to give any kind of refund. They describe themselves on their website as differentiating from their competition by providing "fast, quality and most importantly HONEST WORK" yet they are far from it. Again, I will never go back to ZZ Auto. Not even for a simple state inspection.

  • They are very personable, if I need service done on my vehicle, they will drop me off to where I need to go while they work on my vehicle. They stand behind their work and have a very homely feeling in services. They are very honest in services and will only do what needs to be done.

  • The Sales and Service were great, however after review of the cost, I was shocked. I own a 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid, which takes 0w-20 rated oil. What was not told to me during the service, was the original price of the signature service oil change (33.99), but the signature service oil change that I received cost $69.99 ($75.00 with tax), because there is a $36.00 up-charge for special synthetic oil such as 0w-20, which was never discussed. At the end, I got the pink slip, which just stated signature service oil change (69.99). So here comes the cost analysis, according to another auto service's website, a quart of the 0w-20 synthetic oil is $7.29 a quart, and I need 4 (my vehicle takes 3.4 quarts), so that total comes to $29.16, add a $5.00 oil filter and that is $34.16. The basic signature service oil change costs, $33.99 which includes regular oil, along with all of the other services. When you receive the synthetic up-charge of $36.00, there is no reduction in charge. So in essence, if the cost of my parts for service from an auto store are $34.16, then Jiffy Lube charged me $35.83 for 10 minutes of work. Another interesting point, is that Jiffy Lube charges you for 5 qts of oil and there is no reduction if your vehicle takes less oil due to the engine being smaller. What I would recommend for commuter car Hybrid owners who put a lot of miles on their car (36,000 miles per year), is that if you want to save the money on oil and be environmentally friendly as well, pay for the synthetic oil, filter on your own and find a garage that will just charge you for changing and disposal. This may be a little more inconvenient, but if you get your oil changed between 7 and 10 times a year, you will save a couple hundred dollars and see better gas mileage with the synthetic oil.

  • I've been using the same garage for the last 10 years. I would definitely use them in the future. They're pretty good. They are pretty good.

  • They did both of them and they were fine for that. I had an oil change coupon. The price is always good. The were a little slow and communication with me was fine.
