    Cleveland Clinic
Cleveland Clinic is the number four hospital in the country, it's a top level hospital to West Virginia and number four in overall.  They are excellent, they do a total evaluative service, they recommend between doctors and are extremely thorough making sure you're provided the appropriate services.  They are a A++!

    St Marys Hospital
I have seen everything when my father was there, he's there when he passed away, and they have wonderful caring physicians. Most of the nursing staff was just truly fine to us and very helpful. Overall it was a very good experience, it's hard to say good when I lost my father in the process but they did everything that they possible could do, and there wasn't anything else left to do. They were very available to us.

It has all been good. It's a great big place. It went well and I am still kicking. I will absolutely continue to use them.

    St Francis Hospital - Charleston
They did a great job. I would definitely go there again. It was a very pleasant experience. When I can, I go there because it was, for many years, a Catholic hospital. It's still run in a way that makes me know they care about me. They were very good.

Outstanding experience. Dr. Gilbert answered all my questions in a professional manner. He explained the advantages and disadvantages of treatment options and allowed me to choose the best course of action.

FAMILY HEALTH ASSOCIATES OF THE KANAWHA VALLEY
The front office staff was friendly and helpful. I arrived early to fill out the "new patient" questionnaire and insurance forms, and paid the co-pay. After turning in all the forms and payment, I waited in the waiting room for approximately 20 minutes, then I went into an examination room and spoke with a physician's assistant (she may have been a nurse practitioner, I'm not sure) and answered some more questions and discussed what I had put on my questionnaire. After speaking with the assistant, I waited in the exam room for approximately 10 or 15 minutes before I saw Dr. DeTemple. She was extremely kind and listened intently to all of my health concerns and questions about her office procedures. We discussed the things on my questionnaire and I answered further questions about my health. I found her to be very patient and interested in my case. She gave very good advice and ordered some blood work to be done, and her receptionist scheduled me for a follow-up visit.

Overall, I had a good experience with the hospital.  Was it perfect.  No.  Then again, it's a hospital.  All the staff were friendly and competent in what they do.  Their technology was up to date.  They saved my life, and I will never forget that.  I was referred to the ER department from a local Urgent Care office due abdominal pain, fever, and a climbing white blood cell count.  They at first thought it was my appendix, but the surgeon on call wasn't so sure.  He knew I had a problem with Diverticulosis in the past.  After some testing, they proceeded on to what they figured would be an appendectomy.  The surgeon was correct to the appendix not being the problem.  I had divericula(s) that had burst, and my colon essentially was a sieve.  My abdomen had extensive infection.  After an extensive surgery and a week hospital stay, I was well enough to be released.  Any complaints I have is typical of any hospital.  The ER wait was lengthy, the bed wasn't so comfortable, it could be noisy at times, and the food was awful.  I would say most would say the same of most hospitals.  The whole situation couldn't come at the worst time.  My husband had changed jobs, and we were between insurance policies.  The finance office worked with us, and were very compassionate.  I would recommend them anyone.

We have always been pretty satisfied with them. I had a little problem last time though because my husband was running a fever and I asked them to move him to a private room but they couldn't because they were waxing the floor. Otherwise thought I would recommend them.
