This has been my second service call and both service calls went well very professional, and well informed.

    WEEWORX
My dryer had been persistently losing heat due to multiple issues. Weeworx owner (Weeton) graciously continued to come back and did so for no charge. He explained everything he was doing and was a pleasure to interact with.

    Ohio Furnace A&E
We had been having problems with our SubZero refrigerator not staying cold but freezing ice on the back wall for a while. Believing it was more than likely the seal around the door leaking warm air in and cold air out, because it had been a while since the door closed with a vacuum-like seal we decided to contact Ohio Furnace A&E after researching who was known for handling SubZero specifically. When we called, we expressed that we believed it to be the seal. The repairman came and diagnosed it as being the thermostat. This was fine and we thought the issue was a simple fix. After a week, the problem was back. We were having the same issues and called them back. They came back with the same part to replace the Thermostat. At this point, we pointed out again, that we believed it was the seal. Seemingly ignoring that it could be anything other than the thermostat. The thermostat replaced a second time, it still doesn't work properly, still the same issues. I called the company again, left a message for them to call me back. I did this every few days for almost 2 1/2 weeks with no callback. The final time I called, I did so with my number blocked, they pick up, audibly upset, I let them know that it still wasn't working and mentioned the seal again. Also that I left several messages waiting for a callback. He sends his guy out again. This time the guy comes in for a couple of minutes, goes outside to make a call to SubZero, comes back in only to tell us it wasn't the thermostat and Subzero told him it was more than likely the SEALED SYSTEM. Ohio Furnace A&E does not fix sealed systems. That was over 2 weeks ago. Since then, I have left several more messages. Today, he finally answers. I expressed that I felt with the misdiagnosis, I should receive a refund. I was informed that he was refusing a refund. I was told that it normally turns out to be the thermostat and it not their fault that it wasn't. I said, " So, you're telling me it's a guessing game, and as the customer, I'm left paying a bill for something that was misdiagnosed?" He then proceeded to tell me that they didn't charge me extra for the second part ordered or the last 2 trips. We had a 30-day warranty. Assumably, he thinks I should be grateful that we weren't charged more for the second replacement part and service, 2 extra trips they made while they misdiagnosed twice, even though we mentioned several times that we believed it was the seal. Very disappointed.

Tony promptly got a part for a 1996 Maytag and got it back in service in a whip stitch. He has kept my older appliances operating over the years at reasonable cost and is always great to deal with.

We chose not to repair our washer after Tony's estimate on parts because of the age of the machine. He is very honest. Will call him every time I need a repair. He only charged us for a service call (about $50) and spent more than 2 hours on our machine.

Was glad repair was so prompt, was repaired same afternoon, & did not have buy new appliance! This is a 26 yr. old jenn-air refrigerator. He had the part on his truck & we were able to use debit card. The repairman/owner had 26 yrs. of experience. Wife involved w/ good customer service. Also, reasonable charges for repair- he had to deal w/ my extremely embarrassing MESSY house & could have added charges?!

Saw the referrals from Angie's list, and a friend (McMillion) also recommended Larry Cooper (owner). Made one call, (Larry was out), 15 mins later, spoke with Larry, 30 mins later, he's standing at my doorstep! Quick fix, in and out, super nice and professional. Knew exactly what was wrong. He is our NEW GO TO GUY! A little more cost compared others I've used, but the difference is made up in responsiveness, politeness, professionalism and skill. Will DEFINITELY USE AGAIN AMD REFER FRIENDS!

    Sears Appliance Repair
They didn't do any work as far as replacement or anything like that. They came in to fix my refrigerator and they tried to fix it. My refrigerator, I forget how old it was, but I don't think it was over 10 years old, but they replaced my refrigerator because they couldn't find the part that they were putting on my refrigerator. They couldn't find it. So, under the warranty, they replaced my refrigerator completely because they did not have the part, they don't make it any more. My refrigerator was totally fine, all it was, was the ice maker panel, the guys broke it when they came to repair it. When they were fixing the clips back in there and it broke. My refrigerator was stainless steel and all they could get in was white and that would have looked stupid because I had black doors and black everything. So, they replaced it. It wasn't really Sears Home Services, it was just Sears Home Warranty, is what I have. I have an extended warranty, I think for two years. I feel like it was totally worth it. They came several times to fix it. They didn't give up. There was no money out of my pocket, other than what we paid for the warranty. Even though they couldn't fix it, they didn't just leave me hanging. They did as good as they could do, with what we had.
