We boarded our animals. I find it is easier than hiring someone to just come check on them twice a day. I boarded them for a week.

I see them quite a bit. I went in for normal shots. They been there for boarding, spayed, ear infection, just normal dog stuff. I think he is the best in the area.

I went here to get advice on what to do. They suggested a special food to feed him, and things that he should not eat. This reduced his allergies, which is great! He still has some, but they are not as severe as they were before. This was the first time that I have been here.

    Valley Veterinary Associates
I rescued two dogs  and I wanted them to get checked out they were five years old the family could not have them anymore because when she had the two sisters she didn't have any children now her children are highly allergic with asthma  and everything so she couldn't get rid of them of her children but she didn't  want to separate the two girls so she has been looking for almost two years  for somebody to take in both of them because one of them have canine liver disease and she didn't wanted to split them up because they are very dependent on each other so this was in New Jersey and I said I will take them because I'm a nurse and I've had a dog that had canine liver disease so anyway they are doing great.

    Pet Street Veterinary Care Center
We can't say enough good things about Dr. Van Deijck (pronounced Van Dyke, like the old Dick Van Dyke show) and his team at Pet Street. He is very gentle and thorough during examinations. He explains things very well and doesn't rush through anything. He is clearly focused on his patients well-being. One reason we chose him was his years of experience as an emergency room vet. He is very open about his process and procedures. In fact they recently had an open house where he explained in detail how they work and demonstrated various equipment. That tells us he is very comfortable and confident in his abilities and very transparent in how he conducts business, which is a great thing. Being pet owners for many years, we are quite picky when it comes to choosing a vet. The entire staff including Raven and Holly (sorry I know I'm forgetting some other names) is friendly, caring and quite competent. We are so happy to have found this clinic for our cats after moving here and are extremely comfortable giving a very strong recommendation to any pet owner.

    Clip and Care
I was very impressed with the appearance and cleanliness of the facility. It is much nicer than most local salons and spas for people.  I was even more WOW'd with how patient they were with my 80+ pound lab.  We adopted our dog 5 months ago after he had been abused and starved for the first 15 months of his life by his previous owner.  As a result of his experience, he is very timid and fearful and reacts to the unknown with rowdy, unsocialized behavior.  We were both very nervous when we walked in but were very quickly calmed by the atmosphere and caring employees.  It was obvious that they loved animals and enjoyed their jobs. Even though his appointment was a busy Saturday, service was timely and excellent.  I was impressed that he wascalm and happy, not trembling and crouching as he has been at other places.  When they handed him back to me, he looked and smelled great and had his head and tail held high.  Thank you Clip and Care!

    Audubon Animal Clinic
My family and I have been taking our family pets to this office for many years. Most of the staff is really nice and the doctors are wonderful.I waited for 1 /2 hours to be seen as a walk- in as the doctors on staff was in surgery. In the mean time the male dog I took there to be checked out whinned and and was all over the place. Some of the other staff came in about an hour later I might add older staff. She greeted me with a smile and a hello, she made me smile. She brought my dog a frisbee and collar with purina printed on it and I asked her for some water for my dog. She went a got a bowl of water for my dog. People started rolling in for there appointments and my dog was getting mighty restless. They called the first scheduled patient. The lady (I can't remember her name) she has been there for awhile. Takes a look at the chart for my dog and makes a face, then looks at the chart behind. She then picks up my chart and calls me back. She asked what I was there for. I told her my dogs private parts looked swollen and looked like he had two knots along the sides. She rolled her eyes at me and said that was normal. She then pointed to the chart on the wall and explains that's what happens when he gets " happy." Boy was I embarrassed. The vet came in a check the dog as I still wanted him to be examined as he was a stray that came into my life. They truly have some top notch doctors, but a few of the staff really could be nicer and more professional. I still gave them high marks because you can't let a few bad apples ruin the whole bushel.

We have been using them for at least a year. They do a good job. They do exactly what we ask them to do. They are fast and before they do anything they call and ask. It is always a great experience for us. The only problem we have with them is that they are over booked and there is a reason for that.

    Raleigh County Animal Hospital
My sister was visiting from St. Louis, her Scottish Terrier is receiving chemotherapy, she had to have blood work to make sure all her levels were in check. Dr Dorsey and the Raleigh County Animal Hospital was able to provide this service. We received a professional exam and fast results. Dr. Dorsey called us Saturday and reviewed the results, provided the information to our vet in St. Louis as well as provided me with a copy. Alexa was in good hands with Dr. Dorsey.
