    They came when they said they were going to come, that is a big deal, because lot of times we get contractors that don’t show up when we try to coordinate with them.  They gave us an estimate and it was a fair estimate.  We did a lot of research and they were on the lower end in pricing.  They installed it when they said they were going to and we have no issues with the alarms.

    Easy to install.  I feel very secure now.  There was an issue with the adhesives used to install the motion sensor and broken glass sensor but a call to the company and the arrival of new adhesives fixed the problem.  They are very responsive and patient with any inquiries  by phone.  Will probably add the smoke detector sensor in the future.  I wish I could use the camera but it requires an internet connection in the home which I do not have. I have already recommended the company to a neighbor who has an incapacitated elderly person in the home.

    Recently a Vivint salesman approached me in my front yard. He was a personable as well as polite young man, so we sat on my patio to talk about the merits of the security system. He was never high pressure at all. I had been thinking about purchasing a security system, so I agreed to buy the Vivint system. I had to give the salesman a voided check for automatic payments to Vivint. I paid no money that day. After the salesman left, I called Vivint to confirm that the salesman was actually an employee, and he was. I should have done this before I gave him the voided check, but all was well. The only factor that surprised me was that the system would be installed that very evening. The technician did a good job of installing the system, and he was also very personable and polite. Later that evening the salesman returned and talked with my husband and myself which I considered to be very nice and polite. The next day I researched Vivint on the Internet. It's a good company, but of course there are always people who complain. This information made me paranoid, so I called Vivint to cancel the contract within my three day time period. Very soon afterwards, the salesman came back to our home and sat down and talked to us. Then I felt reassured. Now I'm glad that I didn't cancel the contract because the system really works! The system that we had installed has detectors on ceilings to indicate broken glass from windows as well as detectors on all exterior doors when opened. Even the door to our garage has these detectors. I use this system in the simplest manner possible. I disarm it when I get up in the morning and arm it when I go to bed at night. Well, one night after I had armed it, I decided to go to the garage for something, and the siren went off, the light started flashing, and I immediately received a phone call from Vivint. I'm glad that I made this mistake because I know for certain that this system will help us to be more secure in our home. I opted not to use motion detectors due to my husband's health issues. We are up and down all night. When overnight visitors arrive, I just disarm the system before they arrive and leave it that way until they depart. Then when my husband and I are alone, I re-arm the system at night. Days in our area are not a big concern to us, but nights are. So far, I recommend this security system. It's easy to use if you use it in a simple manner. We are a retired couple who are home everyday. Married without children couples who work in certain areas as well as active families who live in certain areas will have to be more focused on arming and disarming the system than we are, but that's true with any security system. Our system cost a one time installation fee of $198.00 along with a $49.99 monthly fee which is directly debited from our checking account. So far, I like our Vivint security system.
