    Dr. Reams is very thorough and takes all the time necessary to discuss her findings with the patient. She is willing to answer all your questions. I had cataract surgery performed by her previously on both eyes. She also had referred me to a retina specialist due to a p***** in the membrane of the retina. She also was keeping up on reports from the specialist. You will find Dr. Reams to be very personable and down to earth. I highly recommend her as an ophthalmologist.

    I checked in and went to waiting room. While waiting, I observed an older gentleman come in saying he had an appointment. They couldn't find where he had made the appointment but they spoke with him and told him they would fit him in anyway. They were very kind to him. When my turn came, I advised the nurse who was going to put the drops in my eyes that I have a and quot;thingand quot; about anything going in my eye and I apologized in advance for my response. She was very understanding and she did the drops in a way that made it much less distressing to me. Dr. Reuling was also very professional and answered my questions concerning eye issues in my family members. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

    I had a moderately early morning appointment (10a). There were several people ahead of me and waiting, but I was seen quickly. The office staff have an efficient system of rotating patients through all the phases of an exam in different rooms - photos, eye test, scans, visit w. the doctor, etc.

    Upon arrival, I was greeted. The front desk employees were very friendly. They however were a tad loud at times. At first I was very intimidated by the testing process. They have it set up in stations. So during each station, tests were performed. The doctor will come in with 4 students and they will very quickly perform needed tests. At this point you will receive very little communication from anyone. I felt like a test subject. Finally, the doctor will come in and reveal their findings. During this time, they will discuss everything with you. They will answer questions and not make you feel rushed. I then understood the whole process and why it is so effective. Overall, I love this place. Mr and mrs dr shields are quite amazing!

    Glasses were defective and replaced withing the one year warranty period.  Second pair was defective and I was informed the warranty was expired and it was my responsibility for the cost.  It had not been a year since the glasses were replaced.  I was informed it was a year warranty from the original date of purchase, not from the date the new glasses were received. The provider stated he would pay for the lab cost and quoted his cost. I stated this was unacceptable. The provider offered to forgo his cost for a one time courtesy.  Office staff are polite but office climate is tense.  Have not returned because they act like they are doing you a favor.  You can get your glasses there, but don't tell them anything is wrong.  They're never wrong.

    My experiences with the technicians were good. They have a helpful and friendly disposition and did the tests accurately (I assume since I've had no problems that would relate to any of those tests being done incorrectly). When Dr. Werblin came in to see me to check the double vision, he was short and brusque. He did only the one test for the double vision, and gave me no chance to ask further questions or offer additional information.
