    It went well. He came on Tuesday, the only day they come Lewisburg. He called before he arrived. Worked at a reasonable pace. Cleaned up nicely. However, now the ice maker does work so he must come back. I hope they don't make us pay for this because we think he did something to cause it to malfunction. A repairman returns July 2.

    I was referred to this company by another store's service center for warranty work. The washing machine I just purchased was not performing as it should. Noisy with lots of vibration...although the machine was perfectly leveled. Ace Appliance Repair's only shortcoming was in how the phone contact person interacted with me. First, he denied that anyone from the other store had contacted his company with instructions to call me to set up a convenient appointment. No one had called me the day the other company had promised. So, I had to call Ace using their local number to request service. Just after the phone contact person denied ever receiving a call or knowing anything about my situation, someone in their office found my paperwork while I was still on the phone proving what he had just said incorrect. Instead of an apology, I got all the reasons why he could not give me a specific time frame other than "sometime within the work day" for their field rep to visit my home. So, I requested that they call first just before coming to make sure someone was home. After that, their field person called as promised giving me lead time, showed up and fixed the problem within minutes. He was friendly and courteous while inside my home. The satisfactory resolution of the problem made returning the machine to the retailer (and all the hassle involved with that) unnecessary. Overall, I was satisfied with the actual service performed, but not with their telephone "customer-care" skills.

    Service was prompt and friendly but it was obvious he was guessing as to what the problem was. He ordered a gasket and came back a week or so later to install. Within a couple of days it was leaking again. Because of my work schedule, it was over 30 days before I called them. So they were going to charge me another service charge. I decided if I had to pay another service charge I'd find someone more reputable.

    When we purchased our washer and dryer we were told that it would be delivered in the "afternoon."  At 330 pm we received a call asking us to reschedule after we had been rescheduled numerous times prior to this.  We refused to reschedule and they told us they would be out "soon."  at 545 pm we received a call from the driver asking for directions.  He then proceeded to tell me that they were going to stop to get something to eat then they would be out.  when they arrived they came without the dryer cord, then after being in our laundry room for approx. 15 minutes he came out and told me that he could not find a hose that didn't leak for the cold water but for now we can wash our clothes in hot water until WE bought the other hose.  after they left I walked into my laundry room and saw a puddle of water sitting on my brand new pergo floor.  I also noticed a scratch that was not there before.  I also tried to turn the hot water on and that hose was also leaking.  the next day I called the business to explain to them what happened and was asked if I was capable of putting the hoses on myself because they did not have time.  I preceeded to tell him that I did not pay 30 dollars for me to do the work.  The owner called and said that him and his son would be out to fix the problem.  His son is the same man that  came out the previous night.  when they arrived he connected the washer and then asked me to go into the room and preceeded to tell me that the scratches were not from him.  After arguing with him for approx 5 minutes I decided to let it go.  when they left I walked into the laundry room and noticed that the white box that was installed for the water and drain was pulled out from the wall.  I am still currently trying to get that fixed.  DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM...IF YOU DO... DO NOT LET THEM DELIVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  THEY ARE THE MOST UN-PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE EVER!!!
