    Fleckenstein, Dr. Kurt B.
Dr. Fleckenstein is an hour drive from my home, but worth the time. He tries to avoid expensive procedures if possible, preferring to maintain status quo if it can be done. He will only recommend invasive treatment if no alternative.

    Vargo, Dr. John.
He is such a professional member. He is a college faculty person. He is very professional. He is a perfectionist. I like basically the setting that is warm and friendly. I have an appointment pending with him.

He always has a smile. He explains everything in detail about his plans for your treatment and walks you through everythning. The whole staff is great.

    Fleckenstein, Dr. Kurt B.
He did the job the issue is how he treated me. He made me swallow my own blood and debris. He wouldn't allow the technician to assist. He bullied me while I was in the chair saying "You're not so big now." With the brackets in my mouth I wasn't able to get spit out the blood. He embarrassed me by discussing my procedure where people could hear in the lobby. Others in the office were laughing and though it was funny. He looked like he enjoyed causing me this distress. This was traumatizing to me. I tried to get out of the chair and they pulled me back down. It took me nearly 6 months to heal enough to talk. I wanted to schedule cleaning every 4 months but he said that I'd have to do so on his time. It has me scared so it's compromised how I've been caring for my teeth. I let him know prior to the follow up the he scares me. He did apologize and try to explain that he had tried to catch everything all after the fact. It's difficult for them to be sorry with the smirks on their faces as I left. When I told him I was going back to VA for future treatment, he said "Oh, I know all of them" as more bullying.
