My bloodhound passed away on Christmas eve morning. John was very responsive when we contacted him about doing the cremation. He returned Clyde's ashes to us in a beautiful wooden box with a certificate, a small vial of his ashes and a small amount of his fur. Even though it was the holidays he made sure our baby was back home with us Christmas morning. Thank you so much for taking such great care of my fur baby. It means so much

07/21/2020 Just had the worst Vet experience of my life here. My poor pupper is traumatized by how they handled our visit today for yearly vaccines and check up. My dog Buffy has always been skittish of strangers and nervous about going to the vet. I got her when she was 4 months old from the humane society. We rarely go to the vet, except for yearly vaccines. They always come in the exam room, check her out and give her the shots. Sometimes they have trouble because she is scared and nervous about it, but it's always been fine... Today they took my dog in the back without me. I was only told it was "for a minute to get her weight". They had my dog for at least 10 minutes in the back. I started to get worried. They tried to give her her vaccines away from me, thinking she would be less nervous without me there. However, they didn't explain this to me until after they did this and had scared her to death! She peed and defecated on herself, she was shaking, whining, had bloodshot eyes. My poor baby! Why wouldn't they ask me first? Or professionally explain their thinking beforehand? I wasn't told until after they brought her back to me, terrified and traumatized. They actually had me give her the last vaccine myself. She was fine for me, though still shaken up from the experience. And at this point, I'm crying. Then I was told to get her put on anxiety meds. I was told I should have socialized my dog more. I was told my nervousness makes her nervous, and that I'm the problem. I was told "I'm sorry. We thought she might do better without you" to which I said, shouldn't you have asked me first? or at least told me the plan?!! I should not have let them take her in the back. I should've spoke up my concern for that before they did it. I know a skittish dog makes it hard for them to do their job, but I don't understand why I wasn't consulted or told before they did this. I'd also like to add that today the staff was unpleasant, insensitive, and seemingly uncaring. I would not trust them to care for a plant.

It was a hair cutting accident. They took the dog immediately. It was great, it didn't cost a whole lot. I was very pleased.

They're great, caring. They love the pets and you can feel it when you walk in or when the doctors are with the dogs, you feel like they care and they're just not there to make a buck. So I will highly recommend those guys.

Andrea and Rick stopped by before we left town to check out our pets, location of food  and litter boxes.  They inquired about med's, and vets just in case.  Then Rick came by each morning to feed our cats and clean the litter boxes. He took the time to interact with the cats and toss out treats and toys.  We will use their service again.

We have used Melanie for doggy daycare and training,  I contacted her after a bad experience with a group training class.  I didn't like the other trainer's methods (too rough) and was concerned I had started our training with my Springer spaniel poorly. We had a few private lessons that got us on the right track and my dog blossomed under Her training methods.  She showed me how to better connect to him so he learned faster and I was more clear about what I wanted him to do.  She is as patient with the owner as the dog and full of great ideas to find a way that work for you both.  She is generous with her time during private lessons and there was no clock watching.  We also use her for doggy daycare and he comes home happy and tired.  I have observed him with her other dogs (hers and other clients) and it is clear she is selective with her daycare.  We have used several times and had no incidents.  We feel very safe sending out dog to her home for care.  As as added bonus she will come pick up your dog for daycare.  We are using her for basic obedience, cat/dog integration, and beginning agility.  She also can teach nosework, rally and more.  While our dog has no major problems, Melaine carries certificates for advance training issues.  I would highly recommend her services.  $30 quoted above was for day care - private training lessons are more but we only needed a few to get things going.  There was no pressure to continue private lessons.

Helen did an amazing job! We were happy knowing our dog was in such good hands.  The dogs are taken outside for a chance to play for no extra charge.  Helen clearly loves dogs and it shows! We will definitely use her services again!

They were able to reschedule the service since I was running behind. The vet that saw her was wonderful and took good care of her. She took the time to explain everything very carefully on the side effects of the medicine. She told me to call for a follow up to make sure everything is going ok. We have been going there for 7-8 years and they have taken care of our pets with great care.

    Pups N' Cuts
Stacey the owner and groomer Emily were so accomodating! I am very particular about the grooming my Yorkie receives due to her anxiety issues. Emily performed her service in an hour so that she was not crated and she looked great. This was my third time using Pups n cuts and I will continue to do so. Their prices are excellent as well.
