    Hickory Hill Landscaping and Tile
This company performed better than I had hoped. They were on time daily from 8-4:30, stopping only long enough for a noon break. They protected my yard from damage and cleaned up nightly before leaving. My finished products are beautiful and extremely well made and have received multiple compliments. It was a pleasure working with them since they respected my requests.

I've used them for 15 years. They are very trustworthy, very professional, very clean. Usually its between 2-workers who come out. They are very punctual, trustworthy and absolutely clean up after themselves, no brush, no sticks, no sawdust.

It went exactly how they said it would go. A very safe and experienced crew, and no mistakes or the house would have been damaged. The guys took the trees down in sections with ropes and climbed up the trees like lumberjacks.

    Eagle Tree Care LLC
The job went extremely well. John arrived and was ready to go. He climbed the tree and took each limb down 1 by 1 sending each limb safely to the ground on a zip line. Not a single branch even cam close to landing on my house. After topping the tree, he laid the rest of it down perfectly avoiding my fence (just feet to the left and my blacktop driveway (just feet to the right). He used all of the limbs he had lowered earlier as a cushion for the main tree structure to fall on. He then chipped up everything and I was left with only the main structure which a friend of mine wanted. All in all smooth job and a pleasure to work with! I recommend Eagle Tree Care to everyone! ANd remember you get what you pay for sometimes.

The overall experience was great.  I have found Eagle Tree Service to be very responsive by phone and email.  While it is true you could find a "cheaper" service you are not going to beat the quality of service.  I utilized Eagle Tree Care for the first time about a year ago and they still contact me from time to time to verify that I am happy and if there's anything they can follow up on.

I can't think of a thing that they could improve on. They cut down this large tree, careful of collateral damage. removed the stump and filled in the cavity with black dirt and then for the icing on the cake, they seeded the dirt also. All while cleaning the mess. If I was rich enouph I would have given a tip, for the perfect job!

    FENCIL LANDSCAPING
We were initially excited, as we built our home about 5 years ago and just now got to putting in a lawn.  The well-priced quote helped in this regard.  During the consultation, Mr. Fencil suggested waiting until fall to seed.  My wife said, "I don't care when....I just want a lawn."  (By which she meant she would wait if it was in his professional opinion to do so.)  He chose to interpret it as to do it immediately without asking for clarification, so we wound up having a seeded lawn WITHOUT a sprinkler system during one of the worst droughts in recent history.
My wife and I were aware of the difficult situation, and are not normally tough people to deal with.  It is also worth noting that during the brief time Mr. Fencil felt responsible enough to check on our progress, he lavished praise upon us for our dedication to watering using our two hoses and sprinklers.  He said that any difficulties growing were not due to anything in our control.
We bought and spread Turf Builder as per his suggestion; continuing watering dilligently and mowing as necessary.  By this point it was mid-August and we had not spoken to him in about a month, and we're wondering if/when he will stand by his work and reseed areas that are clearly not going to grow in (1/3 of the lawn would be a conservative estimate).  We begin calling weekly, and hear nothing throughout the remainder of August and September.
Finally October 1st I had enough.  We had an outstanding balance of around $1400 that he had not attempted to collect on.  That coupled with his refusal to return our phone calls led us to assume we were "cut loose" so to speak.  I sent him a letter including 14 photos of areas that were not growing in, and advised him we were not going to pay for an incomplete project (perfectly polite but also thoroughly highlighting his lack of professionalism and quality work).
Now it is two weeks later and of course we have received a letter threatening legal action if we do not pay in full within 30 days.  He also claims to have stopped by numerous times during the midday hours, and having seen "lights and TV on with no one answering the door".  I do not believe him any further than I can throw him, and if you are a potential Fencil Landscaping customer reading this I cannot suggest strongly enough to find a more dedicated and professional landscaper.

    Northern Tree Service
I had a tree that fell onto my driveway during a storm at midnight.  I called Northern Tree Service at  6 AM and left a message.  They came within 30 minutes and looked it over and said it would be cleaned up by the end of the day.  I was gone all day and when I returned home late that night the tree was gone and cleaned up nice.  I could not ask for better service.  Thank You!

    Northern Tree Service
They returned my first call for an estimate the next morning and then came out.  Price was right and we agreed to have the job done the next week.  On the weekend I called and informed the tree service that there would be a schedule conflict if he came later than Tuesday and they called back on Sunday and said they would do the job on Monday.   Job was well done with no problems.
