    We contacted Tom (owner) concerning bat removal from our attic. He sent his son to inspect our house and give us a quote for bat removal/exclusion. He was about 1/2 hour late but performed a full inspection and seemed knowledgeable. He charged us $120 for the inspection and informed us that if we chose to use them, our inspection fee would be credited to our final bill. Then about 2 weeks later, we received an estimate/contract in the mail for the work required. It was over $1500! It included tearing part of our BRAND NEW roof off and installing a screen in the ridgevent to prevent bats from re-entering our attic. We decided to contact our roofer for this part of the project to ensure that our roof warranty would still be valid. Our roofer said he would do it for a VERY fair price. We informed Wildthings that we would be more comfortable having our roofer do the roofing work and having Wildthings do the bat work. Tom (owner) then sent us a corrected contract with the inspection fee marked as not refundable but the price was lowered to $664. My wife called him and asked him why and he was very rude to her on the phone saying that we were not following his recommendations so he would not credit our inspection fee toward the work needing to be done. She reminded him that we WERE following his recommendations by having the screen installed in the ridgevent and he said that Wildthings did not consider that as following his recommendations. My wife then told him that if he didn't want to credit us for the inspection fee, then he wouldn't get the job. He replied "fine with me" and hung up on her. I would not recommend this company to anyone for any pest removal. It seems like they make their money doing inspections and maybe once in a while they get someone foolish enough to fall for their inflated quote. Don't do it. We are going to do the work and will save over $600 and hopefully these people will get the hint that you can't go around being jerks to potential customers.

    Our five year old freezer had a problem. The items in the top portion of the freezer where completely thawed, the items in the bottom of the freezer were frozen. We called KMA to see if a repair on a freezer was worth the ROI. The repair man came out, said it was just the fan that takes the air and circulates it, essentially the cold air was left at the bottom and the air at the top became warm. The part was ordered, installed, but when the technician came up from installing the fan, he said that the part didn���t come with a wire for the heater assembly/it is just not made that way anymore, which meant that the auto defrost wouldn���t work. The freezer would work fine, but that meant our freezer would have to be manually defrosted when it frosted up. To me, that meant once every other year. He left a price on the answering machine later that day saying it would increase the cost of repair by $85 if we wanted to order it. I didn���t call back right away, I wanted to see how much that freezer cost originally to see what its value was. A couple of weeks later, after we bought food, my husband noticed that the freezer was not working, it was like no repair had been done. I called to say, not only did we not want to have that heater assembly, our repaired freezer wasn���t working. I was told someone would get back to me. I forgot about it. About a month later I got a bill for the repair, and a note saying I never called back. I called back saying not only had I called in, I had said that I was having a problem with the repair. About a month after that, I received another bill saying that I was over 30 days past due���. So I called again, stating I had called in, and I had a problem with the repair. Finally I connected with the Service Manager, who I felt was telling me that the unit needs to be defrosted every other week, the fan had failed because I refused the heater, and because of overuse. He offered to come in and look at it. When he did, he saw that the blade was blocked by the way the cover had been put on. For the heater unit, he spliced the wire together so the original heater worked with the new fan.

    Quick response for estimate, estimate less than competitors.  Could complete all needed exterior work - he subcontractors, better than hiring a company for the roof and another for siding.  Always on time, hard working, kept us informed daily of progress.  Non-smoking, no vulgar language and owner worked daily on site.

    Over the Top Roofing & Construction
    Jim did an excellent job of coordinating the different crews needed to complete my repairs. The rubber roof team was fast and well coordinated. The carpenters did a fairly good job and even the things that needed to be changed were finished before final payment was made. I tried to get several other contractors before I came upon this one and the others were not interested in the amount of work and detail I was requesting. Jim came in and was responsive and made sure the job was completed.

    The job went very well.  The crew was on time (job started exactly when agreed to and lasted as long as discussed), very polite and did a very good job cleaning up after themselves.  Tim was on site working with the crew the entire time and was always willing to discuss progress and the overall job. 

    The project consisted of a complete tear-off of the old roof (the organic shingles from the late 1990's) and replacement with new synthetic underlayment and dimensional shingles.  Tim was knowledgeable about material selection and had suggestions for selecting the right roof for my home but he didn't push one shingle over another - we held a discussion of materials and I selected the shingle I wanted to use.

    I checked out several different companies and worried about selecting the right company to install my new roof - I am glad I picked TC Roofing and I would select them again in the future if I have roofing or siding needs.  TC Roofing operated a well run, efficient job for us.

    We had one of their "inspectors" climb on our roof today when we re not home. My elderly mother was here and she let him up there. He then returned to tell us that we had extensive storm damage on our roof from a storm last year. I am on the roof at least once a month and there is NO damage unless he did it while he was up there. We have a family member who is also a "storm chaser" and he has filled us in on the scams that they run. This company, Badger, has only been in business less than a year. Actually I just climbed on my roof and there is no damage whatsoever. No lifted shingles, no bald spots, no moss or mildew. Nothing. Stay away.

    They brought the material one day, and the next day they started on our roof.  They cleaned up everything.  We did not have to do anything.  The only thing they ask, is if we have any lawn furniture, decorations that we move it out of their way so it is not damaged.  They were able to finish our roof in 2 days.  Very pleased.  We did receive lots of compliments.
