  • I have been a patient of her's for a long time. I have no choice now; need to get the meds and one is held hostage with obligate quarterly visits (nice way to assure an income stream even when lifetime Rx is a certainty!).

In the beginning, there was some worthwhile interaction but, on balance, she is just too young and unconscious about the real world for a well-educated patient.

I suspect she is more adept with children and young women, although I noted nothing definitive regarding a specialty when I started.

Now my visits are a boring waste of time and nothing is accomplished. I am on the cusp of switching to an older and more worldwide psychiatrist.

I think Ferber tries her best but she is not a good choice for an older male.

  • She mostly takes care of my meds but I have done other things with her as well. I have to always stay on top of my mental health and she has helped me do that. She is very responsive to anything you have to say that might be a bit negative. I was hospitalized once a long time ago. She came to see me and just shook her head in a dismissive way. I wrote her a letter and told her. She thanked me and said it would help her for the future. She sometimes gets in a rut and it is nice to be reminded what she is supposed to do. I am sticking with her for life! She is very nice and very intelligent, which you want in a doctor. She knows what she is talking about. She has never been dismissive or over-medicated me. She helped me find a neurologist when I needed one. She helped me find a new therapist as well. She gave me 3 names and told me a little about each person. Her description helped and I immediately hit it off with that therapist.

  • I am extremely happy with Dr. DeMuri. It is hard to get in for an appointment with Dr. DeMuri because she is so busy. She is always available if I have an emergency or need her help. She is very understanding and she listens to her patients. She is sensitive to what I have to say and to my needs. She really dresses well too. I like her staff a lot as well.

  • Dr. Zigun?s viewpoint doesn't match my expectation of what a psychiatrist should do. He just gives me some medication, and there is not really any sort of psychology to it. I walk in and sit down. Then, he inquires about me in a general way. When I tell him that I feel hazy, he just gives me a prescription. He tells me to return the following week and tell him about how it works. I don?t like his approach to helping me. He is a great guy who means well and conducts himself well. However, I was not pleased with my experience with him. I didn?t have any problems with his staff. I don?t see him anymore because I now go to a psychologist.

  • Dr. Sargent is very caring. He has pointed things out to me about things and about myself. He has given me good advice. Dr. Sargent is easy to talk to and very professional with the care he provides me.

  • She is a very good listener. She gives you her full attention. She offers something for you to think about before your next visit. I feel she has really helped me with her insight. I able to use her information in helping me in my daily life. She is very sympathetic.

  • Sadly, one of our precious sons was having some emotional problems. We were referred to Dr. Siegel by a counselor. Dr. Siegel has done an awesome job helping us and our son deal with the issues. I don't know what we would have done without him.

  • Although there were components of the program that were beneficial (group therapy, anger management) overall we were disappointed with the quality of care and lack of structure. There was to be a school component each day, but there was no direction or supervision, kids were just told to go work on their homework in their rooms. Staff responsiveness was mixed-some were very warm, supportive and knew what was going on with my daughter. Others didn't know anything about her treatment plan or progress when I called for an update. The rooms are depressing and cold looking with bars on the windows. Not a comforting environment for someone struggling with depression or mood disorders.

  • He is warm and caring and straightforward in his approach. He is very positive and he is one of the best psychiatrists I've seen regarding medication management. He is very good about treatment planning. We discuss where we are going and why we are going there.

  • She has been going since September and they have really helped her in dealing with many issues including the death of her grandmother and the start of a new school. She should be getting discharged soon, although I like the safe environment she is in.
