Remodeling Kitchen And Bath reviews in Wausau

I paid him $7,000 and he left before the job was finished. I had to hire someone else at additional expense. I also had to hire a plumber because the sink he installed leaked into the base cabinet and damaged it. (I called him to find out what plumber he had used and he didn't return my calls even to let me know that)

Christopher is very professional and helpful.

He arrived on time, courteous, and clean in appearance.

I only had a kitchen chandelier to be replaced and he was able to install it within a few days of calling him.

No job is too small and he covered all aspects of replacing the light including making the second light switch on the other side of the kitchen work!

I would recommend and have, to anyone.

    Excellent work and customer service!

They were very good. We were very happy with their services. They were very neat and considerate. They always took their shoes off before coming into the house. They were respectful. They were good guys.

We completely gutted the old kitchen, installed new appliances, cabinets and completely updated everything.  The crew was timely and respectful in my home, and we were very pleased with the work.  Everything went very well.

These guys started off great, despite some early problems with calls not being returned and missed connections. The crew was very professional but the bosses were another story. Once the job was finished I had to call them back several times, the biggest problems being that they forgot to cut a hole for the heating vent in the floor and the toilet was installed off balance.  Once the final bill came, the issues escalated. They tried to charge us for materials that we had already paid for, they conveniently lost their copy of our original contract, and when I spoke to one of the owners about the discrepancy he accused me of lying to get money off the bill, even though we had a receipt for the materials and they did not.   In the end they finally agreed to pay  for the disputed services and materials, a total of around $500.  I would have let it go at that, but the leaks they were contracted to fix have already started dripping again!

Didn't show up on time, didn't finish by deadline.  Didn't finish.  Quality was poor.  After had to work drywall, left window unfinished, Didn't work.  Electrical not up to code.  Left hall wall drywall incomplete (didn't sand).

The project went according to plan.  They said they would start at 7:30 am and work until 4:30 pm and they did just that.
I also hired them to do remodeling work in my house in 2008 and again in 2009.  Work performed in those 2 years involved new countertops in the bathroom, removal of old plumbing and installing new plumbing for the house, aluminum wrapping of windows so I don't have to paint the trim anymore.

framed it and Dave Kempy leads Kempf Plumbing and is an ace. He participated in a complete kitchen renovation which demanded some routine and some very difficult installations to conform with the new design. The new kitchen design had is moving all the appliances and installing a new sink, new sink hardware, and a new disposal. The net result was that some relocation efforts were routine, but some had a high degree of difficulty to conform with the new design. I recall him working in some of the tightest spaces one can imagine to re-route pipes. WE ran into a huge and unexpected glitch in the design and relied heavily on Dave's advice. His advice caused us to make what turned out to be a superb modification to the design that satisfied everyone involved, especially us. Basically what happened is that when they tore off all the walls of the old kitchen, we found an unexpected pipe coming from the second floor. Dave figured out a way to make it look like a post and he told the contractor to frame it and insulate it so we didn't hear the magic "flushes" from upstairs coming through the kitchen eating area! Every glitch we ran into Dave and his sidekicks worked around them with a quiet professionalism that is marvelous to watch. I lack a good enough command over the English language to adequately describe how good Dave and his men are.

John Christianson is among the most professional, capable builders I have yet to meet, and I'm 67. He aprticipated in a complete renovation of our kitchen, including teardown, installation, tile floor installation, and bathroom tile instalatin and new shower accessory installation. I hired another company to lead the effort, and asked the owner point blank of he was the general contractor, as I wanted to hold a single person responsible. He said he was the generalc ontractor, but in point of fact did nothing a general contractor is to do. John Christianson ran the show on his own because of his professionalism. I lack a goon enough command over the English language to describe how good his work is, how professional he is, and how much I trust him. He has to told me he can renovate our basement and build me a garage if I were to want tose jobs done. I do, but want to raise the money first. Once I do, I will call him an dno one else

John Wakeen runs Current Connections. He is arguably the most professional electrician I have ever known, and I am 67. He participated in the complete renovation of our kitchen, which involved an enormous amount of electrical wiring and re-wiring and hookups. He also installed all the new lighting we had for the renovation. He is responsive and a hard-working dude. What is most interesting about him is that he is quiet and efficient. When he comes in to do a job, that's his mission and he is completley focused on it. He was pulling wires and reinstalling wires while at the same time working around others in the renovation project and you didn't even know he was there. The others in the project loved working with him. It was like choreography watching them all do their things. When he finished one phase of his effort, he was gone, but remained in close coordination with the rest of the renovaiton team and always showed up when it was his time to work on the next phase. Here again, I lack a good enough command over the English language to describe how wonderful an experience it is to work with John.
