    This provider promised to fix my piano and abandoned the job without finishing it to my satisfaction.  I had to weave rubber bands in between 2 octaves of strings to tolerate the breaking glass sound he caused from not properly finishing the job. It was a nightmare and he talks a strong pitch but in the end he doesn't know how to finish the job.  He oversells services that are possibly not needed.  He seems to want to make as much money as possible from the customer. In the end it is not the customer's opinion that matters to him. He becomes dismissive when the customer complains about problems that exist that need to be fixed.  It seems that in the end only his opinion is important to him.  I had to hire another technician to finish the job at an additional cost to me of almost $3,000.00.
    He did not respond to my request to finish the job when I continually complained that the work was not done to my satisfaction.
    He also never responded to my request that he reimburse me for what I had to pay the additional tech. I had to hire to fix and finish the piano.  I gave him the opportunity to do so but he didn't contact me or send a check. 
    Additionally, he never protected the case of my piano and severely damaged the case. There are countless chips in the black lacquer finish. It was a nightmare.  He is a registered craftsman, but doesn't work in a craftsman like way.
    I have lodged a complaint with the Piano Technicians Guild.  The sad thing is that he is so well respected! The person who referred him to me is disgusted with him, as am I.  It appears that my only recourse is to take him to court.  I gave him the opportunity to reimburse me out of court, but he didn't.  I also have to get an estimate from a professional furniture restorer so I can have the damage fixed.  I am including a photo of just the area he damaged when he installed a humidity control system.

    I needed to have the fronts of the cupboard doors and drawers refinished, but didn't want to get the rest of the cupboards done as there wasn't wear there.  The wear was just around the handles, and it was pretty bad on some of them.  I took the fronts of the cupboards and the drawers over to their place to have them refinished.  I went to a paint store to get some stain to come as close as possible to the original, and that's what was used.  Norm did a great job, and you can tell that he takes a lot of pride in his work.  The price was VERY reasonable.  The only thing was that it was supposed to take 2 weeks and it took 4 weeks, but that was partly my fault as I had said that I wasn't in any rush.  Very pleased with this job.

    I have used Grebe's for the seven years I have lived in Wausau. I went in shortly after buy our home and in one fell swoop bought all new kitchen appliances I needed to replace our outdated equipment, including refrigerator, washer, dryer, dishwasher, oven with stove, and microwave. I have also bought dehumidifiers, a lawn mower, heavy-duty leaf blower, smaller weed whacker for routine work, large handle bar weed whacker for big jobs in my large backyard, and a whole bunch of kitchen equipment including Wusthof knives, diamond cooking ware, All-Clad cooking ware, coffee makers and I'm sure I'm missing some others. When spring hits, Grebe's also sets up a top-drawer flower shop outside. Our home is a "Grebe Home." I shop no where else for the things Grebe's offers. The outdoor power equipment, of course, can run into mechanical problems, and I have found Grebe's service to be among the very best I have ever experienced. These guys know what they're doing and repair prices are very reasonable. The sales staff is top of the line, top to bottom. They are patient, they answer every question you might have, they are extraordinarily professional, and they are a pleasure with whom to do business. I fear I joke around too much with their team and sometimes catch them by surprise with my dumb jokes and comments ---- they always catch on and handle me as professionally as possible. I hate outdoor work so sometimes when I come in I arrive in a bad mood --- I always leave smiling and satisfied that they have solved my problem. I can say unequivocally I love the store and the people working there. They have solved many of my problems. They offer the very best products, products they stand by 100 percent. They have done appliance installations for me and delivered heavy equipment for me, always on time, always professional. There's not much more I can say other than to recommend Grebe's be your first stop for the products they offer. My wife is having a few problems with our mattress, and now she is eying buying one from Grebe's, which would be a new experience for us. We'll go here before we go anywhere else. Buying in our present tight economy is tough, as we all look for the best deals. It is important when doing this that you factor in value, trust, and quality. I have always found their prices to be fair and a good value, the quality of their products first-class, and I trust each person working there without question. I take heed to their advice and counsel.

    Mr. Hiorns was on time, did a great job with my severely out of tune piano, including fixing a broken key and one of the inside hammers. He was polite and very kind to a few little people who were desperate to help him. I'd highly recommend him!

    The store is laid out in a first class way. The people working there come across as most professional. But delivering on the promises is where they bog down in my view. I should have kept after them regarding the fit for the refrigerator. My gut instinct is this was more a contractor issue than Fergusons, but Fergusons promised me they would ride herd on these guys. As it turned out, the refrigerator sticking out to far in the old kitchen was the main reason we decided to redo the kitchen.

    Fergusons recommendation on the contractor to use was poorly selected. He was not satisfactory in the end and I will review him separately.

    While the lights that went bad have a beautiful design, in my opinion they are junk. I would have been  better off going to Menards or Home Depot.

    The toilet seat issue was extraordinarily laborious and I felt the sales rep was rude and one who does not like to listen to the customer's complaints.
