    I will never go to anybody else for any of my car repairs.  They are extremely fair on everything.  They tell me the truth.  There are never any surprises. They tell me exactly what my bill is going to be before they fix it and when I get there to pick it up it's exactly that same price.  They're honest.  They gave me options as to which kind of repair I wanted.  They told me the one they recommend to their people was the cheaper one.  It was my air conditioning and it could have cost anywhere from $800-$1000.  He said that that's extremely expensive so what we can do is just cut off the back part of it, close that off, the fan will still run and your fan will still be cooled, it just won't be as cold in the back.  That was totally reasonable to me.  If it would have been another place they could have very easily said it's either $800 and not given me an option B.  They're honest and they stand behind their work too.  I had the front air conditioning fixed in June and they told me come on in we'll see what's going on with it and we're not going to charge you for just doing a re-check on it.  They're honest and they're quick.  They're very professional. They don't treat me like I'm stupid because I'm a woman.  They explain things to me.  I just think very highly of them.

    It went fine, but this was AFTER I had had a thermostat replacement that went very well. I felt as though I was being given some credit for knowing a little about cars or at least understanding what might be wrong.

    He was very responsive and performed the work in a timely manner.
    He stated that after the rack and pinion was installed I would need to get an alignment elsewhere as he did not have the equipment to perform this service. This was fine by me.
    I took it to Firestone Tire for the alignmen and they stated that David installed the part incorrectly and also forgot to install parts.
    I asked David to contact Firestone directly so they could explain the situation.
    I confirmed with Firestone that David did call them. They said he told them he was going to call me back.
    But he did not call me back. After texting David he sent me a text stating he did not have the equipment to perform the alignment. He did not admit to anything else and did not offer to fix the problem.
    I ended up having to pay Firestone to remove the part and reinstall it properly (and include the parts that were missing).
    David never returned my calls or messages. He just 'disappeared'.

    Bob is very professional. He does what is asked and goes a step further in telling you about any other problems that he find, but does not pressure you to get the repairs completed. He give you options.

    It was not good. We found out that they told us incorrect information about my vehicle. We had it taken to a different place to have it worked on and what they told us was originally wrong with it was not the case.

    I would tell you not to go there. I felt like they lied to me. The problem that was wrong with my vehicle was not even close to what they said.

    The work went very well with Toyota of Wausau. They are very prompt, they do a good job because my car runs well. The only thing I didn't like about them, when I bought the car, it was stipulated that if I had all my servicing done with them, I would get 3 tires, so when the time came I said I want the tires, they didn't do that anymore, they changed dealership, somebody else had bought the company and they weren't honoring this anymore and that made me a little upset, they didn't honor what they said they were going to.

    I had no appt.  so they gave me a ride home since they were unsure how long it would take to work me in. It turns out I had no tail lights either. They asked how much I was willing to spend. They called before they did the repair to make sure I was Ok with what it would cost. They fixed the problem and even picked me up so I could retrieve my car when they were done. It was like having a trusted family member work on my car. I will definitely go there again.

    Jon informed me that the transmission needed to be "updated" and that it would cost $1400 to fix it.  I gave the green light to make the repair.  A couple days pass and he calls me telling me that his repair didn't fix it.  You need a new a new torque converter.  Another $1400.  Asked if he would give a break on the bill at all and I got a $25 new customer coupon.

     I brought my 2002 Saab 9-5 here for an alignment. I have all
    new parts on my front end. Control arms, tie rod ends, linkage, etc. The tech
    did an front-end inspection and told me that they would be able to align my
    Now, on some models of vehicles you have rear camber, which
    can affect the front alignment and prevent it from driving straight. You would
    expect this issue to be addressed before they start working on it. They are
    supposed to have a standard procedure in place for rear end alignment issues,
    like checking the rear camber before playing with it for a hour an a half, but
    they don't.  
     After my 90 minute wait, after which I was told by the
    manager that my alignment  "was as good as it was going to get"
    and the tech also mentioned that I needed a bell housing.
    Why didn't they check this out before the work started? I paid
    the man, as I thought my alignment was not going to be that far off, but it was
    terrible. It was just as bad as it was before I came to the shop.
    I called back down there to see if they would make it right.
    Daniel said they would fix it once I get my new read end parts. W**? New rear
    end parts - specifically a bell housing and 4 new bushings (these are also bad,
    they failed to notice or tell me). They checked my car (supposedly), had me sit
    there an hour and a half, charge me full price, just to tell me I need some
    more stuff on my rear end? I decided at that point that I wanted my money back.
    I did escalate this to corporate and they referred me back
    to Daniel. Needless to say, Daniel did not want to refund my money so I
    contacted corporate again. The lady I spoke with said to mail her my invoice
    and receipt and they would get back to me. She just called me back and said
    they would be unable to refund my money because the shop aligned it to the best
    of their ability...No they did not, if they even looked at my rear end before
    adjusting the front, they would have noticed the issues!
    Also, since every Midas is independently owned, you have no
    corporate safety net for your transaction, like you do at McDonald's (for
    example). Meaning that if Daniel decides to not refund your money, you're not
    getting it back, whereas at McDonald's the home office will issue you some type
    of refund if you have escalate a complaint beyond the store manager.
    Why would you take your car back to a place that doesn't do
    things right? A Saab is not a Ferrari, it has been owned by GM since 1999, and
    rear camber isn't rocket science. What this boils down to is an incompetent
    tech and an incompetent manager. Do yourself a favor and go to an indie ^_-
