    They made quick work moving an upright piano into my home and down stairs into the basement. They made it look easy. Everyone was responsive and professional. They figured out how to do the project efficiently and cost affectively: only three men working at my home and two men needed to get the piano from the store (vs 3 men the whole time). I would work with them again.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE DECEIVED AND THEN RECEIVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER THE FACT!!!! Everything was fine until delivery. Our items were packed in the truck from our old house on Friday and we were ensured by two separate people that the trucks would be stored in a climate controlled warehouse over the weekend. When our items were unloaded on Monday, several boxes had water damage. Thankfully nothing was damaged, but that's not the point because something could have. We were told by the crew that the seals on the truck door must of been bad and nothing more. No one from the company called to explain what happened. Not our moving consultant (LaRae), the manager (Larry) or the owner. After the move was completed and I finally had a chance to catch my breath, I put two and two together. The trucks were never put in a climate controlled warehouse over the weekend, but left outside during high heat & humidity along with a bad thunderstorm that rolled through Saturday night. When I pushed and called them out on it, I was finally told the truth that the trucks were left outside. Though our moving consultant (LaRae) apologized for the trucks being left outside, we were also told by her that it wasn't a big deal because nothing was damaged. There was ABSOLUTELY no attempt on her part in any way to rectify or even acknowledge the fact that multiple people within the company were not forthcoming in telling us the trucks were mistakenly left outside. We were told the only thing that could be done was to have the manager (Larry) call us to discuss it. However, we were also told at the same time that they are very busy and be "patient" because it will be "a while" before he even calls us. Maybe I should have waited "a while" to pay the bill....!!!

    I was blown away by the value!!!!  We got expert support and advice in listing our home on the MLS and saved approximately $16K by working with Mad City Homes.  It was extremely easy to list our home and we were thrilled with the result.  Our home sold for more than list price within 2 weeks of listing.   If you can do your own taxes, or probably even if you can't, you should consider listing your home through Mad City Homes.  Can't recommend highly enough!!!!!

    Jon is a fantastic inspector.  He is extremely thorough and very professional.  He doesn't just forget about the home when he's done.  He actually wrote an addendum to his report to address an issue with the home the next day because it bothered him that evening and night.  We got money off the sale price of our home because of his thorough, complete and concise inspection report.  I highly recommend him if you are purchasing a home.

    I've known since early May that I would have a move to make in early July, but it was only a week or so ago that I decided to contract with a mover. So on very short notice, I contacted a few movers. One seems to have gone out of business, as I couldn't get through to them. At another I left a voicemail, but didn't get a response. But Al himself picked up the phone when I called, and was responsive to my job. He estimated that a 2-3 man crew would take about 2-1/2 hours to do my move, and he gave me a quote that was quite acceptable. Most important, he was able to accommodate me with less than a week's notice.
    When the day arrived, the movers were scheduled to arrive at 10:00 a.m. Al called early that morning to say they were having an issue with one of the mirrors on the truck, and asked if it would be alright to arrive at 12:30, allowing time for the truck to be fixed. That was fine with me, as it gave me a bit more time to get my things packed and ready to go.
    Three men arrived a bit early, surveyed what needed to be done, and got right to work. Loading the truck, driving to my new address (13 miles away), and unloading to just under two hours. The men were happy to do what I asked and were careful with my stuff. I consider it a successful move.
    They did inadvertently leave a bag of packing materials at my old address. Al himself dropped by two days later to retrieve it.

You'll never wonder if Liz is following up or if you're on her radar. She's in touch, very organized, and I've always felt like a priority for her. Her focus is amazing! She makes it seem easy, even though, of course, she was working with several other people at the same time. Liz makes it look seamless and relaxed and that you have every bit of her attention and concern. On top of that, she's smart, funny, and wonderfully connected with people and the community. Liz clearly loves her work and it's infectious.

    Worked with Brian Daley of National Property Inspections. He was prompt, courteous and had a wealth of knowledge. He provided the Inspection report before leaving the house (excluding pictures). However pictures were provided via email later that evening. He answered all my questions and provided additional information as well. I usually recommend the person, not a company and Brian definitely represents the company well.
