    Shu's Glass Co.
Very well. I had contacted a competitor (more than once) and they never bothered to return my call. Shu's Glass was out the very next day and was right on time and the installer was very personable with several care tips when the top was installed.

    Shu's Glass Co.
Greg was very responsive and came to the house to measure the top. Another business that specializes in glass in Waukesha did not even return my call even after calling 2x. Greg called right back and was out the next day. He made an error on the cost but assumed the additional cost without charging the difference-how often do you see that in this day and age?. He was here exactly when he said he was going to be here when taking the order and delivering it. He is friendly and personable and gave helpful advice on the care and maintenance of the glass which will be on a screen porch so exposed to tree pollen and dust which can be more abrasive to glass than "indoor" dust. He even took the additional time to install cushions to protect the bottom surface of the glass. I highly recommend him and Shu's Glass and will definitely use him for any future glass or screening needs. He saved us over $100 from normal costs for this type of work!!!!

BOB'S GLASS SERVICE OF WAUKESHA INC
I called and spoke with a young lady on May 9, who took the information on the work I wanted to get an estimate on. I gave my phone and contact information-she said she would pass the information on and someone would call me. I explained that someone would have to come to the house to measure it to ensure it was done accurately as the item was too big to carry in to the shop. After waiting a week I called again after getting no response-no messages on my voice maid and no indication that a call from this business had been made and no message left (CID). On May 16 I spoke with the same young lady who located my original request-I gave her my cell as well as the house line. She assured me that someone would call me back that day to set an appointment. NO ONE ever called-and now it is 3 weeks since the second call. Through Angie's List I contacted another local business on May 23 (who I was not aware of) and he was out the next day!!! The work was done within a week and the serviceman was here exactly when he said he would be both for the measurement and estimate and delivery. Bob's clearly needs more competition as they do not seem motivated to provide good service or at least have the courtesy to return a call-even when contacted twice- Does not give one much confidence that they would have a job done when estimated either.

    BATH AND KITCHEN SPECIALISTS, INC
We were very impressed with this company from the moment we met Mark at the home improvement show at State Fair Park. B and K had been recommended to us before we went there. We agreed to and estimate and the attention to detail was impressive. Working with Kim was a great "design" experience. Again, all the details that we hadn't thought of. When work started, Dan and Mark were so knowledgeable, neat, respectful and we enjoyed having them in our home. We were kept informed, asked about a choice before doing something, cleaned up every night and told us what was next. They are true craftsmen! The best part and most important to us , was that they were the only 2 doing the work!! No sub-contractors to wait for or have in and out of our home. The timeline was met (since they only do one job at a time). The quality of the products, the workmanship and the employees are top notch. Best home improvement project we've ever done!

    Argo glass & windows
Great and professional workers! It's been a long time I'm living in my current home and I'd never stopped to look at my windows, when I realized the glasses were all fogged and old, I decided to hire Argo glass & Windows and replace them. They came to check the place and give a fair budget one day and later that week they came and did their thing. I love it!

    LES'S GLASS & MIRROR
Everything went very smoothly.  The measured the window initially to provide an estimate. We placed the order. Then they returned to do a tracing of the opening to assure that the new window would fit exactly into the existing opening. I appreciated this extra step to assure a professional job.  The window came and was installed in 90 minutes.  I am very pleased  with their work.  Considering other people , like Tod and Tod wanted  $1200 to replace the entire window, this $350 alternative was a deal. Try them for any broken seals in your windows before buying a whole new window.

    Zen Windows Milwaukee LLC
Working with Brad and his team was great.  They were very responsive and did a great job replacing my patio door.  I needed to do this project on a tight budget which is what the Angies list "big deal" offered me.  I suggest that when purchasing a door from any provider you find a way to view the door before purchasing to ensure satisfaction with the product.

    BATH AND KITCHEN SPECIALISTS, INC
We were very pleased with the entire process of working with Bath and Kitchen Specialists.  The initial consultation with Kim was very detailed - and helped us get our thoughts together.  Based on this meeting, Kim worked up a very detailed proposal. Much different than other contractors that we worked with.  We appreciated this level of detail to make sure we clearly understood what was included.  Once we decided to move forward - we spend an entire day with Kim to pick out all the materials.  We didn't think it would take that long - but it really did.  It was amazing how many decisions that were needed to be made.  It made it so much easier that we could do everything at one time - in their showroom - instead of having to run around from store to store.  Once we signed the contract - the orders for all the materials were placed.  They didn't start working until everything was in - which really helped keep things moving along - the entire project took about 2 weeks (with a bit more time for the shower glass).  The process went smoothly and both Dan and Mark were on site every day.  They were very efficient and communicated with us on pretty much a daily basis.  We were very happy with the results and love our bathroom.  There were some concerns in other posts about the level of detail in the contract, etc - I appreciated that level of detail so there were no surprises.  You can tell that they have many years of experience under their belt and have the bath and kitchen remodel process down pat.

    Glass Doctor of SE Wisconsin

I purchased an Angie's Deal, $99 towards the cost of labor involved to install a 2' x 3' pane of 1/8" thick non-insulated glass in a ground level bedroom window. I contacted Glass Doctors and workman arrived promptly to gave me an estimate. I was told that I still owed them $98.46. I called their office thinking that they had made a mistake. No, that number was correct. I called a different glass installer and asked for an estimate on my project and he quoted me $110.00 for labor and $15.36 for the same glass. That is $125.36 compared to $197.46 for the same job. I contacted Glass Doctors again and they told me they might be able to match the lower quote but then they could not honor the Angie's List Coupon. Not in my lifetime. I went with the lower quote and am quite satisfied. The folks at Angie's List were very helpful. A big thank you to Angie and her employees.

    Layton Glass & Mirrors
We took the cabinet to their store. They have a good selection of frames. We selected a frame that compliments the lighting fixture above the cabinet. They had to special order the frame. The new mirror and frame were installed on the cabinet's door within the time period they promised.
