Carpet Cleaning reviews in Verona

Jeremy arrived on time, went to work right away.  Very compact equipment--no long hoses. He explained what he was going to do and what results we could expect.  It was everything he said it would be.  We did not walk on the carpet for a few hours but we could have.  It looked so nice we called our neighbor over to look at it.

They were professional, arrived promptly and were very nice.  We loved the job that they performed for us.  Our stairs and carpet looked remarkably different.  We would recommend them.

Gulesserian's Oriental Rugs at same address:
Everything went well until I vacuumed and inspected the carpet carefully.  I saw several areas where there were missing tufts of wool, leaving seven white spots approximately 4-8 mm across.   Some of the missing tufts ran along a crease that was new and we were told would come out with vacuuming.
John, presumably the owner, told me at first that his company would honor any problem they may have caused but contested that the problem were a result of his services.  I sent him pictures and he told me initially that he had never seen anything like it.  Later after he had help with enlarging the image on the computer, he said it was "popcorn" a normal result of wear and tear.
I asked why I had never had seen them before.  He said it was because the carpet was soiled and that I would not have seen it.  This is not an issue of the wool just being a different color, rather there are wool knots/tufts missing.  I am a very detail-oriented person and vacuumed that carpet regularly and never saw anything like it before.   He said he would come back and look at it "some time" when they were in the area but he could not give a specific date.  That seemed unprofessional to me.
Of interest John told me that my carpet was old and that it was likely to have such damage.  However, his workers clearly told me when they picked up and delivered the carpet that it was in good shape.  When I told John what I had been told by his workers, he said that was not what he heard from them.
I consulted with another rug cleaner in Stoughton who told me that cleaning equipment/chemicals could have damaged the carpet.  Moreover, he said that if there were areas that were a problem before cleaning, proper inspections of the carpet would have indicated that and I should have been advised of the potential results of cleaning.
Honestly, I do not know how these damaged areas occurred but given some of them run along a crease that clearly came back from Gulesserian's I strongly suspect damage as a result of cleaning and/or storing on racks after cleaning.  In any case, a thorough inspection by the company regarding their awareness of pre-existing wear and tear would have been useful.  We knew the carpet to be in good condition.  The carpet has sentimental value to us.
John did offer to tint the white areas in the rug appropriate colors if I would bring it in--a $150 offer, he said, but I declined.  We have no means of taking it in and perhaps more importantly I don't really have the trust  in them to do that at this point.   Lesson learned.
I have no other goal at this point but to advise individuals having their carpets cleaned by Gulesserian's or others cleaners inspect the carpet before any work is done.   It is your only way of protecting your carpet.

We have both Loop and non-looped carpet. The machine was light and good at getting a
deep clean on both carpets. He used a low level or water and the carpet was dry in a few
hours. I was very happy and will use them again.

WOW!!!!!!!!  The carpets look simply wonderful; they did a really great job making the old carpets look so much better.  I was so pleased with the results and amazed at how dry everything was when I got home.  I'll never have anyone else clean my carpets again.  Julie's is simply the best!  And to top it all off they actually moved the furniture--awesome.

Austin came out and provided a quote and explained the process they use. While I originally thought the quote came back very high, Austin explained their process and I was assured that it was a good value. I had 2 large bedrooms and stairs done. The previous owner had a dog and cat, and their was a bit of a pet smell before the carpet cleaning. Afterwards, there was no smell. He had use a pet-specific cleaner. I did not have any stains on teh carpet to start with, so can't review if they do well at removing stains. Overall, they were very good.and I would use them again.
For house cleaning, they were fast and efficient. Everything sparkled and looked good.

    Mass Carpet Care LLC
I was surprised by the quality and helpfulness of this company, especially since using a Groupon is always a gamble. At first I was concerned when I called to schedule a cleaning, had to leave a voicemail, and didn't get a call back for several days. When they did finally call me back, they apologized and said I had called at their busiest time of year (back to school week). They were able to schedule me at the date and time I wanted (about three weeks out) and had no problems or changes after that.
I, on the other hand, had written down the wrong arrival time on my calendar. On the morning of the appointment, I called the main number to find out why my crew hadn't arrived yet, and the receptionist answered right away and got the timing straightened out. My cleaner was about nine minutes late and I called again to make sure he was coming, and again the receptionist was helpful and told me he had just that minute arrived at my house (they must check in when they arrive at a site). So despite the initial contact issues, I was favorably pleased with their responsiveness.
Because of my timing mistake, I had to give my payment to my cleaner and run to an appointment before he got started. This didn't cause any trouble on his end, and he still did a lovely job on all the requested areas. This included a number of very old and crusty pet stains in our basement that have now all but disappeared. Mass will definitely be my first choice to call again.

    Chem-Dry Middleton Carnation
After a great experience in December with Chem-Dry doing overall carpet cleaning for our house, when I broke an entire bottle of red wine on my living room floor just weeks before selling my house I knew that Nick from Middleton Chem-Dry would do his very best to get it out.  He got the stain completely out to my amazement and saved us from having the buy new carpet.  Would highly recommend this company for both general carpet cleaning as well as those challenging situations.

    Green Clean Carpet Cleaning
Went very well.  Mike was on-time and his equipment did not need a stairwell to accommodate long hoses.  He had all his equipment when he walked in the door.  He did a deep vacuum of the carpet and brought up dirt we couldn't tell was there.  The carpet looked  great and was almost dry when he left.  No chemicals.  Very professional.  He left a bottle of stain removal that is effective with pet stains.  We will definitely use him again.

    Steam Plus Carpet Cleaning
He did a great job.  Even gave me a complimentary air freshner which I love.  He really knows his stuff - we have 3 dogs and he knew how to handle the dog stains and gave me pointers on how to deal with them myself.
